I recently sent both of my German Shepherds to training with Jarrett and Ace's team. I was worried at first like any normal dog mom would be. However, Jarrett and Ace's team took really good care of my babies. They worked with me to show Spice and Prince that I am the leader of the pack. I have them both at home after training and it is going well. Everything Jarrett taught them and myself is working, just trust the process. I would reccommend them to anyone.

We purchased a 10 month old premium started lab from Ace’s Retrievers in February 2023. We are from out of state and were nervous about purchasing a dog from halfway across the country. Ace did an amazing job to answer all of our questions extremely thoroughly. He sent us multiple video's an, has a great vlog of each dog showing their progress. It was so reassuring to deal with Ace even without ever meeting the dog first. Ace provided incredible customer service by getting e-collars ordered for us, crates that would fit perfectly, and food suggestions. He also helped us pick a dog that best suited for our family needs as well as our hunting needs. We were able to spend two days on the facility when we picked him up and got one on one time with Ace and his trainers to go over all the training with the dog. Ace is very organized, had all the dogs records and tips for training and transition into the home. Even after we got him home, Ace continues to provide us quality and professional tips and advice and videos to help us continue our training. This dog was very steady and we get many compliments on his training even as a 10 month old. We have loved the new addition to our family. We couldn’t be happier and we highly recommend Ace and would use him again.

I bought a dog 12 years ago. 8 week old 1800 dollar puppy. On the way home we stopped to get a motel and noticed her tail was broke. We asked Ace about it and were told we must have done it. Fast forward to when the pup turned 2. We found out she had hip dysplasia. I contacted ace and was told since I did not sign his contract I had no guarantee. I responded, "You either breed good dogs or you don't. You stand behind your quality and your word, or you don't. A signature on a piece of paper would have ment nothing. Ace is a sub-par shady business person at best. DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM ACE. Pick someone with integrity and care for animals and bettering the breed. I will never forget our experience which is why I felt the need to leave this review 12 years later. The review for Google wasn't an option for him then.

I brought my dog Ayla here for obedience training because I've never owned my own dog before and was looking for guidance. Courtney was extremely helpful throughout the entire time. Her trainer Shawn was absolutely amazing. He is very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of advise.I've had Ayla home for over a week now and she's been great. I took her to a children's birthday party today, it was her first event, and the kids loved her. She followed all commands perfectly and the adults praised me for how well behaved she is, especially for a puppy surrounded by hyperactive screaming children lol.I'm really glad I brought Ayla here, she's been amazing.

I’ve had the absolute BEST experience with Ace’s Retrievers! I purchased a finished Lab and could not be happier! The whole process was perfect for me. I emailed Ace through the web-site and he contacted me the next day. We had a great conversation. He asked questions to help pair me with the right dog and also thoroughly explained the program to me. He then put me in contact with Justin, who is charge of Ace’s Retrievers at Massbach Kennel in Illinois. Justin and I spoke and he made sure that Bear Dog was a good fit for me and my family. He then explained Bear’s strengths and even went over things that Bear still needed work on. Over the next few months Justin was in constant contact with me. He shared lots of photos and training videos with me. He asked me lots of questions about my needs and worked with Bear to meet those needs. A few months later after Bear completed his training Justin was so kind to save me a ton of travel time and met me in Mississippi at Ace’s training facility. Justin worked with me for 2 days and showed me everything I needed to know to properly handle Bear. During that time we also worked with other dogs so that I could get more experience. They were so accommodating and kind during those 2 days. They made sure I was completely satisfied and comfortable with Bear. They even went out of the way to pick me up from where I was staying. They sent me home with instructional videos, pointers and the reassurance that they were there to help me if needed. The end result of all of this is truly amazing. Bear is an incredible dog! When he works, he is like a little remote control dog out there. He does it all! Not only is he an exceptional duck dog, his obedience is off the chart. He is a 100% hunting dog and a 100% family dog. He is great with other dogs and gentle with my kiddos. I’m so thankful for Justin’s hard work and dedication to training Bear. I’m complimented daily on Bear’s behavior and his abilities. He brings a smile to my face and a bird to my hand! What else can a guy ask for? I feel like it’s important to be said that you must work with your dog and do the things YOU were trained to do in order to get the most out of your dog! I honestly can’t think of a single thing they could have done better. It was a wonderful experience and I 100% recommend them to anyone interested. Bear is proof of a successful program that provides amazing hunting dogs to families all over the world. Thanks Justin & Ace! Y’all are the best.

Absolutely amazing trainers and results. They had their hands full with my 5 month old Cane Corso, she would throw tantrums while on the leash and very stubborn. They took their time working with her creating a well behaved, lovable, dog. Ace kept me updated on her progress and has checked up on her even after bringing her home. Very satisfied with her results and will recommend them to any and everyone I talk to.

The facts:I signed a contract for a dog with Ace Retreivers. They posted videos in the beginning showing progress for the dog. They said their was issues with the website and did not post videos of the dogs progress towards the end. When the dog was supposed to be ready, I rode out to their facility to see how far along the puppy was. Unfortunately the dog did not want to retrieve at all. When I put down the deposit, Ace said that he would trade out the dog if there were any issues. So I said hey Ace, can you give me a dog that is ready?? Ace was more than happy to give me a dog that would retrieve for an up charge of $800. I agreed and left with a dog that would retrieve, but not deliver to hand. I immediately took the dog to the vet where he received proheart 12. Heartworm medicine that has had two clinical studies and has 100% efficacy. They next time I went to the vet, the dog tested positive for heartworms. I contacted Ace he offered for me to bring him the dog and his vet would treat him. I thought and still do that Ace owes me at least half of the money paid back for this half way trained dog that has heartworms. Needless to say, I told him no thanks.My thoughts: if you are looking for a hunting lab puppy, join a few groups on Facebook for Labrador owners and seriously consider doing the training yourself. If you are a dedicated owner, aces group won’t be able to hold a candle to what you do for your dog. If you don’t believe me, I’ll be happy to show you my 8 month old puppy that is further along than my $4200 heart worm infected dog that came from Aces retrievers.DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM HERE. I’ll be happy to show anyone proof of purchase when ace claims he never did business with me.

We picked up our new dog a while back From Ace and he has been amazing. This is for my 11 yr old son, so the fellas at A/R had to create the right dog for us. He is amazing on the retrieves and an amazing companion for my son and our family in the house or in the woods. You want a top notch retriever created for your life/hunting style you better call Ace or you will miss the boat come hunting season.

Our black British Labrador's were born and trained here. They are the most well mannered, loving labs. I get so many compliments on how well behaved my labs are. The trainers and staff are so helpful and really took the time to teach me to work individually with both my labs. All the puppies and dogs are well taken care of while in there care. I was truely impressed.
