Entire store is trashed. The fish section had water all over the floor and a hose I tripped on. I thought maybe they were down stocking for the holidays but EVERY ISLE was partially or fully blocked and so messy. Don’t come here unless you absolutely need to.For any managers reading this please move your clutter so your isles are ADA compliant, and for goodness sakes put out some wet floor signs.

I have been going to Petco since you opened in Madison. The I-55 location in Jackson is easier for me to drop by on my way home and pick-up Dog food. That location has been short of employees for a while now. being in retail, I know the importance of having enough employees and staff to help the needs of the customer, but not only that it’s unsafe to not have a full staff in this area because of the nonsense that goes on. Two nights ago I went into the store expecting to have to be asked to get checked out . I actually had a question about some dog food , that’s when I met Jessica. not only did she answer my question, but I found out she was a plethora of knowledge about my animals. Upon our conversation, I realized the stories full of employees, and that she was their training. She is an asset to your organization and should be over all the stores in this area, in my opinion, keep up the good work. Jessica impressed someone who’s hard to impress lol. Thank you for being exceptional.

Ricky assisted me in the store and went above and beyond. He has a great attitude and was willing to answer all of my questions. He also verified what we were purchasing to make sure that we had exactly what we needed. It was a pleasure being assisted by him.

I will be reporting how extremely unethical it was that the new Merchandising Operations Leader is boasting about how they cleared the last staff out. It came off extremely unprofessional and unethical. Considering that the last staff was mostly African American Descent Those were extremely hard worker and what was done to them was not right. This is disgusting and I will be pushing forward with my complaint. Something has to be done about how terrible this location is. I will never shop here again! Something extremely racist is going on at this location! I have proof of the boasting and will send it to HR.

The last 2 time I've been here I've had a bad experience. The employees I've dealt with had no clue what they were doing , no knowledge . Today the employee tried to charge me $40.00 for a $10.00 fish he had no idea what the fish was and insinuated that I didn't either. I've been in the hobby for 30 years I'm no beginner

Went in to get information on setting up a salt water tank. The young lady wasn't well versed in setting one up but she gave me the name of a young lady to come back and speak with that knew A TO Z about the tank set-up. She did make some suggestions and we talked about some plants and supplies. They had a great assortment of fish! I definitely will be back!.

Summary: great groomers, friendly staff.--This is the regular place I take my dog for her grooming. I love that the groomers ask and listen about what she's like and what we want.Counter staff are nice and competent too and need to be recognized as well.

Before we left home for 12 noon grooming appointment, my Husband made a phone call to Petco to inform them we would be running behind. They did not answer the calls, so we proceeded to the appointment. Once we got there, we were refused service. My Husband explained he called, but there was no answer. He was told by the associate they had been sitting by the phone and would’ve have gotten his call. Once we left, he called back to speak with a manager, and NO ANSWER again! But they are sitting by the phone?!?

Just recently bought 2 budgies from there they both died with in a week, the pet store didn’t recommend food or anything, you’d think if they’re selling animals they would be a little more informative

I stood at the counter for 5,6 minutes before the male customer behind me went and got someone to check us out. The cashier(make) didn’t speak of apologize for the wait or even open his mouth to speak. Just check me out and sent me on my way. No customer service skills at all

Awful experience in this store. Drove a couple hours to get to Jackson and while we were in the area we stopped at this store and the salesman who was assisting us in the aquarium section was so rude and at one even said I can’t sell you that because it seemed like he didn’t approve of the type of aquarium we had. What the actual hell. I’ve never had someone judge us by the aquarium we had that we had bought from petco at a prior visit! We have numerous aquariums in the house ranging from 5-40 gallons and have never had an issue buying anything for any of them. We left and went to Pet Smart instead where they had no problem helping and selling us what we were looking for.

It's always a good experience at this location. Helpful staff even though I somehow always seem to go right as they're about to close. They take better care of the animals than most other pet stores in our area. Ace was a BIG help!

Amazing Staff aside from that one person that every store has that is just an asshat. But I get all my supplies and many pets from this location. The Aquatic specialist is the bomb.

My dog looked amazing. They were extremely kind and helpful. The store is clean. And Lastly, my dog was being difficult throughout most of the grooming process but the groomers still manage to be patient with my dog and gave her a great cut.

Let me start by saying that the store associate, Max, is a very great and friendly employee and my friend and I loved talking with him. My friend and I came here to buy cat food and a nursing bottle and both Max and his manager were helpful to us. The store has a mid-sized selection of pets for folks to adopt and has a pretty expansive section of kennels, cages, pet beds, and other furnishings for to make a pet feel at home. I hope to see Petco continue doing well in Jxn!

We have been to a few groomers in the area and I was always a little uneasy leaving my precious boys. We decided to try Petco in Jackson and had the best experience. The staff were so kind and welcoming to me and my boys. I could tell before leaving that my boys were at ease. Upon picking them up they were gorgeously groomed and I could tell great care was given to them in the process. The groomer even made brush recommendations to help me in between grooming appointments. We will definitely be going back.

The grooming staff here is absolutely fantastic! Every time I bring my dog here, he gets the best bath and deshedding treatment. He comes back so clean, fluffy, and smelling amazing. I live out of town but my family lives near this location and I always make sure to book my dog a bath when we are in town so I can be assured he gets a great clean.The store itself is always a little disheveled and understaffed so that's the only reason I took off one star for the overall rating.

The way too cute guy with face piercing was actually very helpful and attentive ( most often guys that hot know it n give attitude...to be fair women also) which makes him a beautiful person as well as great employee who when had free minute at register came to see if I had found what I asked for and lucky for me as I was 1 isle away in wrong place🤭.

Pretty good invertebrate and reptile selection. The ones I have purchased are still living and haven't developed issues. I can't comment on their mammal selection or quality.They often have a good deal on tanks(1$ per gallon). I generally prefer them to Petsmart, I've only recently visited the latter due to Petco only having large crickets and I needed small/medium.However, they have improved their selection recently to include small. Additionally, they have their crickets at the checkout, which makes it easier to get service than Petsmart.Their biggest downsides are those common to big name pet stores. People in different pet hobbies have commented at length on these issues and I'll leave it at that.Overall, this particular location is pretty good.

We have been using Phoebe at Petco for the past few grooming appointments. She has been awesome. The dog comes back happy and looking like a show dog a short time after we drop him off.

I am a regular at petco ..love this place ..I come in a lot … salt, water fresh water tanks been coming to petco for a year now not one problem ..all my pets needs but went in today first time ever heard buy a bag for $.10 cents after I just went in three days ago never heard of buying a bag for $.10 cents my only downside … I don’t know if true or if the worker was knew I never seen him … can someone please let me know if true or not bc that really ridiculous. He also told me that it’s been going on for months and I’ve been shopping there for many months. I’ve never bought a bag for $.10.cent … thanks petco for all that y’all do I really love y’all if it is a okay it was just a shock !!!
