Employees are knowledgeable. Our cat is on a frozen raw diet. Since they only get a small amount in every week & keep a low stock, they offered special ordering. This is the only pet store I’ve found toys made in America. That is a huge plus for them. Large selection of food including raw diets. The downside to this location is parking is horrible. Although they have 2 parking spaces designated for their store, both spaces were taken and only 1 customer inside. This lot is always a nightmare and it’s easier just to grab a spot near the road and hope you don’t have large bags of dog food to carry.

Great selection for dogs. Better than most for cats, but lacking options for cats as most stores of this kind are. Prices are geared towards those flush with money to spend pampering their fuzzy. Will go again, being able to find particular items that I cannot find else and can be shipped is the primary reason. The people who work there are awesome! Very knowledgeable, helpful, and understand when I tell them I need to order xyz online to save money. Or that I cannot start my pets on xyz because it costs too much there and online. So, great variety, awesome employees, will be back, will not purchase everything I'd like only due to cost.Edit:I appreciate the owner's reply. I'd also like to share that when I discussed my indoor cat having seasonal allergies with one of the employees, she suggested adding local honey to her food. IDK why I had never considered this, but I hadn't. I bought my cat a small bottle of local honey (Pearl, MS) from HF, and have been giving it to her every evening in her wet food. Her allergies (dry skin bumps) have receded to the point I may be able to take her off Apoquel! Thank you so much HF! It is sharing knowledge such as this that does help to justify paying more for pet supplies on occasion as the cost of local honey is much less than the cost of Apoquel. Sophie also sends many purrs! 😻Edit#2:Just reviewed my Amazon Subscribe and Save, also compared prices to HF. HF has reasonable prices and often better prices if you live within a distance to either pickup and/or have delivery.

Five Stars for the Hollywood Feed store at Highland Village (I-55 and Northside Drive) in Jackson, MS! Their manager and sales assistants are the best. Professional, courteous, welcoming, knowledgeable, and a real joy.My wife and I enjoy shopping with them. Encountered 3 different employees in store. Each one was very helpful. Approached is and asked if we needed help finding everything. All shelves were fully stocked. Store has massive variety of pet items. My Fromm dog food was on sale !

Nice selection of pet items. I was looking for something to treat my puppy for ringworm and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. They even recommended healthy snacks and meals. I also bought a crate. Their prices were much lower than Walmart.

I always go to Hollywood feeds for my dog food and always have a great experience but last night they went above and beyond for me I ran to the store thinking they closed at 9 but i had the times confused and when I ran to the door they were leaving out and Mj and James went back and opened upThe store just to make sure I got my dog food that James actually had put up for me for me because I had requested the lamb when they got some and he really called to let me know it was in I love it there wouldn’t go anywhere else !!!!!!!!!

We went for a quick in and out right at closing. They were incredibly nice and accommodating. They even took the time to give us a little advice on an issue we're having with one of our pets. Always a wonderful experience.
