two nights in a row i pulled up to this store between 9:20-9:30pm and the doors were locked. there were customers in the store but they refused to let anyone in, even though they close at 10p. when the girl came to the door to let customers out she still refused to let anyone in. i asked her what time they closed and she stated 10p. i asked her why i couldn't get in the store if it was still open for 30 more minutes and she stated "we have stuff to do" and closed and locked the door as i wss standing there. she had a nasty attitude and was rude as hell. I then called the store to talk to someone with commen sense and courtesy but they refused to answer the phone. I called 3x before they finally decided to answer. I believe it was they same rude chick with the attitude because when i asked her why, if the store closes at 10, they weren't letting customers in, she said, "oh hell no, uh huh" and hanged the phone up. mind you, this is the second time this week they locked the doors 30 mins early and refused customers, so i guess they always "have stuff to do" not that they care one bit, but i will not try a third time to shop at this location. if they don't like their job, they should find another one. if she doesn't want to work until her scheduled time she should move on down and let somebody that wants a job have hers. her attitude was unacceptable

I'll never shop here again in my life the cashiers are very snobby looking at you with their nose turned up or when you speak they don't say anything thing back very judgemental especially the lil red girl with the freckles an the lady with the Jerry curl always talking about how someone looks needs to replace a couple of the workers .plus why have all the cash register an only have one open whew Thanks good for family dollar on medgar evers an the one on Woodrow Wilson an Northside Dr.

My experience tonight was like non other. They Lady named Ty was so rude and nonchalant with me. All I asked was the price of an item she replies I guess it's $1 dollar... Can you find out for sure? She repeatedly says I guess it's a $1 and never looked up or made any attempt to help me. At check out I addressed it to her the fact I didn't appreciate being brushed off like that. She totally ignored the fact I was talking. I left quietly because things was about to go south fast. I'm in this store almost everyday spending money. Get rid of Ms ty or loose a faithful customer 😉

This is one of the many dollar stores around. Yet Family Dollar always has what I am looking for at a reasonable price.

If we are talking about Woodrow Wilson location? Something happened while I was there that was crazy!!When did manager's become corporate??A dissatisfied customer asked for corporate number, she said I'm corporate!! And wouldn't give it to her.New manager!!Maybe a week or two.Always a line. Always a wait.

The line is always long expect a 15 to 20 min wait in line. The store is messy things are difficult to find. Items are just thrown on the shelf. The employees are rude. They use profanity in front of children. Five or more employees in the store at a time, but only one register open.

Family Dollar is fine. Prices are decent variety is good but don't let the name fool you its not a true dollar store. But its generally open on holidays which comes in handy.
