Dollar general always have what I need at reasonable prices

Overall the people are friendly, 1 cashier in particular, is not very well trained for her position. I would hope that the store owners would hold extensive training sessions. It appears that, in addition to being angry, this one can not count, and,or value the customer, or her job. The level of customer service is minus 5 on a 1 to 5 rating system. I just left the store at 7:10 pm, Sept 15th, 2020.

As of November 2017 the customer service can be better, some cashiers have no customer service at all. The manager greets the customers. The reason i gave 2 starts is because, They are always closing an hour or so early. I called corporate just to check the time for closing, they told me at 9pm it was 8:15pm when i was on the phone with corp. If they can stop closing so early, stay off their phones, get the line down in a timely manner, greet the customers, and stay at the register it will be perfect and I wouldn't have to shop at family dollars.

Horrible. The manager was talking crazy to the new worker because a price was marked wrong. She said she couldn't override the transaction but shr had a key. Calling home office. However the cashier was very nice.

The 2 cashier were NOT focusing in their customers. Cooper Road Dollar General turn over is ridiculous. Everyone the hire is childish when the manager is not around. They put 2 kids on at night with no manager, bad ideal. I bet the inventory is horrible. The older ladies who are on day shift are very much respectful. They greet you upon entrance, they asked if you found everything ok, and they will invite you back to the store. The people on night shift is not the same. Appearly the managers or corp does not watch the cameras at that store. Im going to leave it like that. Its a perfect and professional business in the day time but its a hot mess smell of alcohol and club like with music so high you cant think at night. Day shift gets a 👍 But night shift gets a 👎

I stopped by Dollar General this morning and I make it there at 7: 56am. As I walk towards the door, this guy is standing at the door doing the "We don't open til 8" gesture. Really dude? You guys are literally just standing at the door doing NOTHING! So I waited til 8. I had to knock on the door and a lady came to the door saying that some lady hadn't come from the bank, so they are still closed! So you couldn't tell me this when you gestured that you open at 8?? The irritation was real this morning!

Don't really like Family dollar however they are all over the state either as Dollar General or Family Dollar in which I feel some should be converted into Dollar stores which better serves the community. Why buy a few items for $20.00 when you can buy 20 items for 20 dollars and most people will double that cause they are getting more for their money and spending less.

They have a sign saying mask required unless you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask. My daughter does have a medical condition and they kicked her out of the store

My little personal quick stop. Run in and grab little things I need that I'm out of around the house. Normally have what I need. Service is ok. They try and get you in and out.

Dollar general is a good store. I like shopping in dollar general because you can fine thing sometime when you get there early at time.
