I came in at 6:15pm and the cashier said to get cash back I would have to wait on a manager at register 1. She said she did not know where the manager was and could not call them, but I could wait as long as I wanted. It is now 7:03 and I have not been tended to. Am I being lied to or has the manager disappeared from her shift? I will not be back.

The staff was friendly and conversational. I was as able to get what I came in for as well as a few other items. The prices were on line with what I wanted to pay. My only issue, (although I know we're changing out seasonal and holiday merchandise), is that the store was so cluttered you could hardly move around.

They serve a purpose for people who can't afford normal. The prices are low but so is the size of the items. Based of unit price, nothing they sell is a quality deal. The store is always packed out with inventory in aisles. You can only imagine what the storage or backroom looks like. They work the employees on major holidays but you can get items if you need something on these holidays.

It is located in a very convenient area from many of the neighbors and travelers to stop and shop. GOD BLESS.

It was okay I guess not exactly my side of town the parking lot was dirty and sidewalk in entryway was dirty but inside was full of all kinds of things had exactly what I needed in a wheelchair and the people were very helpful and friendly so that was cool

I have been a 10year shopper at thus location in irondale love the people but,now it is even better they advanced the cold refrigeration and freezers to keep all types of food it is by far a real good move i as well as others prefer to shop there than walmart and it is not as expensive it competes with the prices GREAT MOVE DG😊

Ghetto area with bare shelves due to all the thefts in this area. Headphones as cheap as $1 are all kept behind the counter along with any other cellphone accessories. They even had a wall displaying CCTv printouts of all the thieves that have been caught stealing in the store. Little frightening to come here as I told the Uber driver to please wait for me while I ran in.Sad, but cannot blame the store.Clerk working was very nice.

I would like for this store to add fresh fruit and vegetables. It's a shame that all dollar generals in black communities don't sale real food. Our children need food that gives them nutrients.

Would not recommend this location because of an employee that is rude and racest asked to use the restroom and was told it was out of order that was ok till i went down by it in the store and another lady come out of her creed now i have many many friends but because i was an American Indian i couldn't have that same curtiouness so ive determined that when the lady with the blue strick in her hair or aaron is there i will not shop there thank you for reading and GOD bless all! And when i say ALL i dont mean just certain ones!

It has been upgraded and it appears to be a semi mini Mart now. A great place to grab things u need to function a nice and clean home without going to a big store finding a space to park.

Dollar General is very convenient, with many locations surrounding the Jackson metro area. This particular Dollar General is located about two miles off Interstate 55 on fortification Street in Jackson. As an overview of the store stock is pretty good. Only complaint it would be not keeping stock of the TruMoo chocolate milk which I have quite the affinity for. Also the car auto aisle is not well stocked. But overall with the prices as good as they are small details can be overlooked. I would write them 3 out of 5 stars mainly for the reason I only go for Auto maintenance product and Chocolate Milk, the only things in the store not consistently stocked. Thanks

Great place to shop for affordable Christmas, as well as other decorations. Just bring your imagination and a few dollars and your home will look like you spent much more than you actually did!!

I guess they Will doing inventory of some type they were so many workers the regular workers look stressed and boxes on the isle everywhere no a good visit today but on the usual it's my type of store always clean and most of the times professional but it was lacking today

I don't hate shopping there I hate when I go in there and it's never well stocked I used to work there 3 years back and it never was out of stock now every time I go in there I can't never find what I am looking for and I don't like that so I would like if they would fix the issue.
