This place is a dump. There's a giant hole in the parking lot that has been there for at least 2 years and will wipe out your wheel if you hit it. Pulled up tonight at 7pm and they were closed. A woman was out front to tell people they were closed but it wasn't like 'sorry, we had to close early" it was more like "FU were closed"

I guess since a lot of people shop here, this Dollar General is always either low in stock or empty with certain items. Good for the business, but bad for me Lol since it’s the closest store to my house (4 min away) & the other stores are at least 15 min away. Other than that, it’s pretty good. They have a cop stationed every night. It’s relatively clean, could be cleaner, but I normally see one person working (& she’s usually stuck at the register) so it’s not her fault :)

The older guy on the register refuses to sell me Tylenol medicine even though I had ID. He accused me of buying it for my daughter. As long as I have ID it doesnt matter who I bought it for. Children get sick too. Because someone else abuses the system doesn't mean you have the right to put me in that category.

I really shop here because it's close. Some of the women managers have attitudes and will not honor a discount sticker if there is a discrepancy between the sticker price and what the cash register machine says. I have argued with them many times about it and sometimes they will tell me that they will give me the item but there's a limit to how many I can get at that price. They do not go through the store and remove the sales tickets on time. Stuff on the discounted $1 rack rarely has a price tag so that when you get to the register it rings up a different price and of course they will not honor it.

Found what I was looking for AND THEN SOME!! 😄 Used to be a Family Dollar REGULAR, but recently I find myself shopping more at Dollar General. The selection is much better, & the aisles are clear & clutter free.(Unlike my usual Family Dollar on Siwell Rd. where the SHELVES ARE EMPTY & the aisles are cluttered with UNSHELVEDMERCHANDISE !!)They DID NOT have my brand of cigs, but said they would get them ordered. Will update after a few more shopping trips.

I shop here because its a neighborhood store. But why the attitude when asking is this the correct washing powder thats on sale?? She replied I DONT KNOW!! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Then the slamming and slinging of your items on the counter.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I rather burn gas and go elsewhere!!

When I walked into the Dollar General,I did not particularly see the urgency and assisting customers at the register, and that's not a good sign for your bottom line,no pun intended
