They wasn't friendly at all, I took my 4yr old Shtzu for a trim and dipp, she cut her hair so low you can see her skin, she didn't trim her hair around her mouth well at all. I always deal with a man there, But this time it was a lady and 2 kids there. I never want to deal with them again.

They are slow l drop my pet off at 8:00 am they keep him until 5:00pm and he’s rushing to finish cutting him. Horrible job I will be looking for another groomer.

I do not recommend this place, they took all day (8am to 8:45pm) to groom my 2 puppies, they were hungry and thirsty when they got back home. Also, they did not follow the instructions on how we wanted them to be groomed. And to finish, the staff is very rude.

This was the 2nd time I took my dog to get groomed and last time I will ever take my dog there. They took 9 1/2 hours to groom my dog and she appears to have knots all over her back from them being so rough with her. Rude and unprofessional.

Highly recommended and I've now become a customer for life. They cut my older, anxious dog's nails in 5 minutes on the first try! It usually takes us hours and a lot of drama.

I've taken my dogs here at least 20 years. I've always been happy with the results. If I wasn't completely satisfied, it was rectified right there and then. They're wonderful people, and have always been compassionate when my dogs passed on.

I had to look for a dog boarding facility on short notice. Luckily Dogs Day was more than happy to accommodate. Their boarding prices are very cheap compared to other places. The facility itself isn't the most appealing to the eye. But they seem to take good care of the pets visiting which, as a pet owner, was my main concern.

I dropped my dog off this morning by appointment at 8am, staff was extremely rude, but I decided to stick it out because my normal groomer retired. I called to check on my dog 5 hours later and they told me it would take 2 more hours until they were done. They called me an hour later to inform me that my dog does not like to be groomed? Literally never been the case before, they told me my dog would not let them get him out of the cage, probably because he was left in a cage for 5+ hours with no attention or food/water. I told them I would just come get him, the staff had already upset me. Upon picking my dog up, the staff was still rude and acted like it was my fault they could not groom my dog. I will never go back and I will never recommend this place to anyone. And before the owner of this establishment tries to write a snarky response back to this, you sir need to start looking at your staff and business practices before you start blaming the customer, don't come for me.

Cheryl & Allan have groomed our four dogs since 2001 and we wouldn’t take them anywhere else! We love the level of service they provide and we know that our babies are always in good hands! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

We've taken our puppy to The Dogs Day three times now and have always had a positive experience. I love that they post lots of pictures to the Facebook page so I can "check in" on him and see that he's having a good time. We usually get him groomed and he always comes home clean and happy. The staff are nice and really seem to know how to deal with dogs and their quirks. Definitely recommend this place!

I had my 4 month old mini schnauzer groomed for the first time today at the Groom Shoppe. It was a great experience. The staff was very kind and caring toward my puppy and myself.They did an excellent job of grooming and were most helpful in explaining the process and how it went to me. I will be coming back to them again.Thank you Groom Shoppe.

The gentleman in the front is very rude and unwelcoming. I felt really uncomfortable leaving my dog with this establishment and therefore did not book an appointment. When asking for information about a groom he sighed deeply and gave me the worst look and replied, I don't have time today. Gentleman continued to act flustered throughout encounter. Be mindful of the patience individuals have when leaving your dogs with them.

This is the absolute worst. Poor communication, poor customer service, and poor grooming. I set an appointment for around 7 in the morning and was sure to have her there in a timely manner. When she was dropped off there were only 2 or 3 canines ahead of her. There is absolutely no reason that I should wait until near close for my dog to be seen. The order in which the dogs are brought should be the order in which they are seen. This was not the case at the groom shoppe. My dog should not have been groomed unevenly nor should her skin have broken out and injured. I should have taken my dog before they got around to her after knowing she was there for hours and not seen. I spoke with my neighbor , who has two dog, and she confined that she had a similar problem. Never shall I ever bring my dog back to the Groom Shoppe in Horn Lake, MS. Nor do I recommend others.

I usually take my dog in on weekends and service is not so bad I've always dealt with the owner's son), but today I took my dog in an a 7am APPOINTMENT and when I dropped her off, she was the only pet there.I paid upfront and 7 hours later, my dog is not ready!!! When I called to see if she was ready to be picked up, the rude owner (I'm assuming that's who she is) said she'll be ready in a few minutes. I said, so I can be on my way? She then says no, about an hour or so. I said I need an actual time ma'am. This lady said when I get her ready; we're open til 7pm and if its after then I can leave her at the animal hospital next door (which means my dog is there all these hours without food).I seriously wanted to snatch her through the phone, but instead I picked my dog up and got my money back. Yes, the price is very affordable, but the customer service SUCKS!!Spend your money with someone that cares about their customers and pets.

We Love dogs Day! Have been going there since our bulldog was a baby. Toni and Whitney are the greatest! Not crazy about the new prices the owner has imposed on daycare and boarding though.

Amazing customer service and did an even more amazing job on our baby girl; Cheri and her son really cares about our furbabies. This was our first time and can say we found our groomer, and even better that she came highly recommended; Beauty takes time to make it happen :)

Took my puppy to this facility, I was told there are webcams that you can view online. Well, it depends on which room your dog is in. Web Cam only covers one room. Owner gave me a tour of the place, the workers were outside smoking cigarettes not tending to our loved ones. The owner quickly attempted to close the door so I wouldn't see it. The outside kennels grass needed to be cut and owner couldn't tell me when was the last time, it had been treated for ticks and fleas. Out of an out-of-state emergency, I was forced to take my puppy there. EVERY SINGLE time, I paid prior to leaving my puppy there. I was told this was procedure. and EVERY SINGLE time, I have taken him there I am told that I have a balance. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY PUPPY THERE AGAIN. I WILL TAKE AN EXTRA 25 MINUTES OUT OF MY SCHEDULE AND TAKE HIM TO THE ONE IN HERNANDO, MS OR MEMPHIS. Take your loved one there at your own risk

We have boarded our dog three times with them. The first time everything seemed great. The second time, they called saying he was anxious and that he had a scratch on his nose. After the third time, we decided we can't ever send a dog there again in good conscience. He came home with a big scrape on his nose from trying to get out, a sore near his tail, and shaking head to tail. When we got home, we noticed he had had his nails clipped, but they were WAY too short. I can't imagine how painful it was for him, and it completely explains his terrible anxiety there. Please take your pet to be boarded somewhere else! As a bonus, the place reeks of urine.

Brought my dog at 8:30 am and didn't have her back until 5:30pm, and the owner said she will be ready only at 6 pm!!!!! Then I called my husband and told him to pick her up bc it was taking too long!I called them around 4:00 pm to find if my dog was ready, the owner told me she will be at 6pm!! I was shocked!!!My dog is a 12 year old Akita and none pet shop before took that long to bath her (usually they take 2 1/2 to 3 hrs to bath and trim nails.) When I asked the owner why it was so long, she was rude and told me my dog has too much hair, and they had blown her 2 times and she was still wet. My husband and I expected at least an apology from them, but instead the owner said nothing.Keep your dogs away from this place. They are not professionals!

We boarded our three dogs here for a whole week and do not have any complaints. I'm puzzled by the previous review because we were told twice that no deposit was necessary, the bill was less than expected and our dogs came back happy and tired. They even worked with my one dog that wolfs her food down and gave me tips on how to help her at home. All the attendants learned their names and quirks and they even let us have a room to ourselves for a nice reunion when we picked them up. A kennel has inherent issues like fleas, ticks, kennel cough etc. I treated my dogs at home before they went. As we travel alot, I will definately use them again.

Web site says open at 7 am, front door says open at 7 am but for some reason they open at 7:30am. Virus or not update your hours so us night shift workers can actually know when to bring out pets.

Got my dogs nails trimmed only 12$. The Vet Technician was very nice and patient with my dog.This is an Animal Hospital though, it is not a groom shop.

I have been taking all four of my dogs to be groomed by Cheri and Allan since 2004 and they always do such an amazing job! I would highly recommend them!
