Had to take my baby to the vet today. Wasn't see what was wrong with her. From the time I called to get an appointment to finding out what was wrong with her, all people involved were so nice. Dr, Castellaw was so nice. He sat down with me and gave me all information and answered all my questions. They are great. I definitely will keep going here..

I was a regular here for my guinea pigs and everytime we came here they were so happy to see them. Everybody was very kind to me, and very careful with my piggies. Dr. Young is the one who saw them mainly, and she is amazing and very caring. We are so so lucky she is so kind and knowledgeable like seriously. She helped me a lot understanding my guinea pigs and being able to help them, as well as being able to provide them with a happier life. My questions were always answered as well.When they both eventually passed away, (separate times,) Everyone was very apologetic, and they even sent flowers for them. Dr. Young helped me cope with both of them passing away and being able to do all I can for them when I could.I seriously, SERIOUSLY cannot recommend them enough. I loved going here.

I’ve recently added a new member to my family. Her name is “Storm “ my pretty kitty and I needed her nails trimmed. I went to Hornlake Animal Hospital my first time visiting and the service was impeccable. Although my baby was a little shaky , they made me feel really comfortable and I was able to get her taken care of. I would highly recommend.

They have been a good place to take our 3 furbabies to since we moved to the Horn Lake, MS area up until recently. Nova passed away in their care on 3/16/24. I'm upset with the fact that we were given great positive news the night before. The day we dropped her off 3/15. That night the vet called us with positive news of Novas outlook. She still wasn't for sure what was wrong but she sounded super positive and happy about the news she had found. Then she let us know that tomorrow Saturday 3/16 we could come visit Nova until 2:00pm when they close. We came by the next morning and they were slammed with appointments or just busy. We are not sure when Nova passed away. If it was in the middle of the night or that morning. But the vet tech or receptionist working that morning didn't even have the decency to check on her when we arrived. They were so busy she suggested we come back later. We got a call an hour later. That Nova our cat who was only 5 years old. Had died alone in her cage!!! We didnt get the chance to say goodbye or even see her when we had been by an hour prior to visit her in person. The veterinarian we spoke with the night before was out of the office till Monday. She called us Monday morning with NO information or conclusions to what happened or how she died. $700 dollars later for one night stay at their vet hospital, blood work, etc. And our baby is gone. They have taken good care of our cat Rosie and dog Riot but I'm extremely disappointed with this vet clinic and how they handled this situation. They gave us positive news Friday night with a good expected out come only to rip our hearts out of our chests the next morning with the news of her dying. Alone. In her cage, without her family. I'm broken. I don't know if I'll ever be okay. 💔

Just switched my three fur babies to this animal hospital. I was going to another clinic in the area and started to notice a decline in their service. I did the walk-in service to establish a relationship between my dogs and the dr and let me tell you... I left so happy I was almost in tears. I told them the SAME concerns I have had with one of my dog for the past four months I have been voicing to my clinic that keep getting brushed off but Horn Lake actually stopped me mid story and gave me the correct answer for my boy. All in all they took all my paperwork I had and made my 3 dogs files and got their notes ready for their Heartworm medication I'll be ordering online to approve their prescription. The process was so easy.I am so happy and grateful I made this switch and only wish I would have found Horn Lake Animal Hospital sooner. Every employee I talked to whether it be by the phone or in office has been like talking to a friend. They care so much for the animals that if I could give a 10/10 I would.

Dr. Allen took care of my animals separately Monday and Wednesday. The news was not good but she said I could call and talk to her whenever I needed to. This team cares and the care is above board.

I recently had an emergency with our baby Lilly. After we had to go somewhere else for the initial diagnosis, we were told to follow up with another vet. On Monday i called them and they were so kind, knowledgeable, and understanding. On Tuesday They gave me all the information that the first hospital could have given me - but didn't. They explained all the medications that the first Dr. had given Lilly. And they showed me how to administer subcontractors fluids at home. But most importantly they gave me hope. They were amazing and helped us get through a very hard time!!! You will not be disappointed at all! They all were Absolutely Wonderful!!

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The customer service is impeccable. They treat your animals like they were their own and their bedside manners are top notch. I have 4 cats and 3 dogs and this is the only place that I take my animals to. I Love Horn Lake Animal Hospital and I highly recommend this hospital.

Fantastic work fantastic communication fantastic results! They saved my little buddy’s life in’20. He was just a puppy had parvo and my buddy, my family and I are eternally grateful for Horn lake animal hospital. If I could afford it I would support them financially. The only thing I could do was to donate a few cases of shredded chicken and rice for their parvo fighting efforts. I pray that my help offered the most help possible for the patients!!!

Took my cat here because she was acting strange. She wasn’t eating or drinking. They charged me 320$ to run test they took her to the back and when they brought her back they told me they couldn’t find anything wrong with her. I get home and realize she has a huge cut on her neck that the vet somehow missed? She has a lot of hair so I missed it at first, but they are getting paid to check her! They should have noticed this! They over charged me and did not do their job! Never go here. Take the trip to animal medical center of hernando. They are amazing! They will take care of your babies and not over charge. For example, the same test they took on my cat here that cost 300$ only cost 75$ at hernando medical center of hernando.

During the most difficult time in a pet owner's life, they made the situation bearable. From the moment we walked into the clinic, we were greeted with professionalism, kindness, & patience. Even though our baby couldn't be saved, we know they did all they could. Every member of the staff we had contact with showed extreme compassion, even ones that were not part of our baby's care. We truly appreciate every member of the staff we had contact with, & wanted to extend a thank you to each and every one of you. Raven can rest peacefully because of you.

I would like to thank Dr. Graham and the entire staff at Horn Lake Animal Hospital for saving my babies life!!! She is a chihuahua rat terrier mix with the heart of a lion! She was attacked by another dog who has horrible dog parents!!! He is a pit bull but it’s NOT his fault! The staff there is absolutely amazing! I recommend them to everyone!!!! 5 plus stars !!!!!

Dr. Young and her staff are amazing and gifted people. They are all far above and beyond what you might expect from a typical veterinary clinic because they treat your pet like it was their own, with love and compassion and with genuine concern for your pets’ well being. Very professional but down to earth as well. They care!

Was suppose to come for a dog jaw surgery vet realized he couldn’t do it way before xray not too mention very money savvy $$$. Got the xray confirmed he couldn’t do it AGAIN but sedated my dog and prepped for surgery without CONFIRMATION & still charged me for it.. Let me leave with little information or help but gave me a $400+ bill. Oh yeah Also was constantly sending the vet nurse back and forth letting me know if I wanted him to basically wing it that it would 100% be on me if it don’t go right and then once again mention it’ll be 1500-2000 dollars for non confident skills. Joke vet definitely wouldn’t recommend

HLAH is absolutely the best! We took our dog Ruger in for his annual check up. We had noticed a bump on him 2 weeks before but already having the appointment we would have them look at it just in case. Ruger is a rescue and very protective of me. His appointments are not fun just because we have to sedate him. They choose to remove the bump immediately. It came back as a mast cell tumor. It was all removed, thank goodness… HLAH will always be my pick. Thank you for saving my big baby Ruger.

If I could give this facility 10 stars, I most definitely would while I was at an event my husband took our puppy Stormie to this place, and they immediately ran test told us what was wrong and sent us to have her admitted into the hospital. I truly thank you all for helping us with our baby girl.

I am so thankful for all the care and support I got from this animal hospital. The staff here is amazing. I highly recommend this place if your animal has an emergency or just as an animal vet. They were professional and quick to answered all my questions. Reasonable pricing on vet bills. They took good care of my Toothless. I couldn't have left my baby in better hands.

My granddaughter took her pup there with a broke leg was told needed surgery took him to the back came back with a cast and splint and charged her 800 dollars. Cast came off after 3 days She took him back and was told she misunderstood that they didn't say surgery and now want 1200 dollars to take care of him. Seems that money is top priority there. Then this (pleasant) person says the leg needs removed or her pup will need to be put down. While they had her dog in back was told she couldn't have him back till money was paid. Had my own own bad experience there with my retriever years ago about treatment and money. Never went back and chose another vet that actually cared about my dog.
