We got our puppy, Riley, last fall and we had a great experience. Jimmy was very responsive to my inquiry and Facetimed with us to show us the puppies. His facility is top-notch and it is obvious he is dedicated to raising sweet, intelligent, healthy and beautiful Shelties. Jimmy is extremely knowledgeable about the breed and their needs. We love our Riley (he's so smart and doing great in puppy school) and would recommend Holly Bluff to anyone wishing to add these wonderful dogs to their family.

Holly Bluff Shelties is fabulous! We were so glad to add a new member to our family. Golly is the most energetic, enthusiastic, quick-learning, handsome Sheltie! Mr. Jimmy Hudson was VERY knowledgeable and so helpful with his advice and filing the adoption paperwork. He and his wife were so kind. They even sent us home with a puppy care package that included a stuffed toy with Golly's littermate scents on it so he wouldn't be so lonely the first few days.Every day is an adventure for Golly (and us)! We highly recommend Holly Bluff to other families or individuals looking for a smart, sweet and healthy puppy! So glad we met the Hudson's and that we were able to bring Golly home!

We have been contacted few breeders. Only Jimmy faced time with us to show the puppies and introduce each one's personality. When we arrived his kennel, he spent more than two hours to let us be familiar with 7-up (our puppy), go through step by step from food, cleaning to vet selection and so on. He is very knowledgeable. We got our wonderful pup, Glory, from Holly Bluff Shelties!!! The place was a drive out in the country but so worth the ride! They have a spacious area all the puppies are in and seem to be treating their dogs like royalty. Would highly recommend!!!!

We got our 3-month old precious pup at Holly Bluff Shelties just last week and couldn’t be happier! You can really tell all the love and care that Jimmy puts into his kennel to keep it clean and a great environment for his beloved Shelties! They have plenty of room to play outside and to rest inside. He spent a lot of time with us on the phone telling us about his dogs and their puppies, as well as on FaceTime to show me the puppies that were available as well as their parents. He went above and beyond what I would have ever dreamed in matching us with our perfect companion. He truly cares about the home his puppies go to but also cares about us as the new owners! He is very thorough with teaching new owners how to properly feed and care for our puppy and said we could call with any questions or concerns we have. Robbie has been so easy to deal with as he was already potty trained as well as easily accepts being in his crate when we can’t be watching him directly. It’s all so much easier this time than with my last 3 Shelties and I know it’s because of Jimmy’s care and training of them!! Thank you, Jimmy, for raising such a great companion for us!!!

We were searching for a reputable breeder of Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties) to purchase our next Sheltie puppy. When the big day came we were welcomed into his wonderful facility surrounded by beautiful shelties of all ages and by compassionate and professional people! We purchased a beautiful female Sheltie from Holly Bluff Shelties, and “Annie” is now almost 4 months old. She is beautiful, and the most loving little puppy you could imagine. Her markings are beautiful, she is healthy, very well- adjusted, and you’ll never find a happier puppy, or happier owners. Jimmy, the breeder at Holly Bluff, is a highly professional, knowledgeable breeder and he does, indeed, love his Shelties. When our baby’s mother was going into labor, Jimmy stayed up all night long and all the next day with her non-stop, with no sleep. He is indeed an expert at raising Shelties, and he is passionate about them. This is our second Sheltie to raise, so we already knew about them. When you get a Sheltie from him, you can be assured that it is a pure-bred Sheltie and of extraordinary quality. Some of his mother and father Shelties are professional competitive show dog trophy winners, and they are in perfect health. Jimmy handled everything for us before we went to pick up our puppy -- all of the paperwork, puppy shots, grooming, “baby records,” even a crate, etc. He spent two hours with us going through everything about our new baby puppy. I think he was as excited as we were, since he knew Annie was going to such a good home. Yes, she's spoiled, but she's also very sensitive and loving, and she wants to please. We bonded immediately. She's also very intelligent and she's already learned how to "ring the bells" on the door when she wants to go out, to sit on command, and to shake hands. She is truly amazing!You cannot go wrong with getting a puppy from Holly Bluff Shelties. They are exceptional breeders, and we are so fortunate to have found them, and to have gotten such a wonderful baby puppy from them. She has changed our lives this past 3 months, and now we cannot imagine our lives without her. I cannot say enough about this breeder. If I were to rate them, it would be A++++. Trust me on this; they are professional, honest, caring, and compassionate breeders with the highest quality of puppies, and the most beautiful puppies you will ever find. The price for his puppies is ridiculously low for the quality of puppies and considering Jimmy’s time, knowledge and expertise that he spends on his Shelties.Thank you Jimmy, for our wonderful Baby Annie! The shelties offered for sale are of excellent pedigrees, have wonderful temperaments, and are all the same price. If you want to have the fun of showing a competitive dog, or are looking for a family pet- those can both be in the same dog. I was looking for a Therapy Dog to train to work with children, or in hospice, etc. There was a pup who might make a good show dog; I passed on him in favor of a pup that greeted everyone, and looked like a good therapy partner, as well as a furry companion. The dogs do come with health guarantees.

When we arrived we felt like we were in Sheltie heaven!! We were so impressed with the facility, the cleanliness, organization, dog runs, and kennels. We knew we were in the right place and then we met Mr. Jimmy. He was over the top with his knowledge, love, and passion for shelties. He knew all 40+ adult shelties by name and the bond he had with them was evident by their response to his calling. His experience was evident with all the awards, ribbons, and pictures from dog shows of many years. He took so much time with us answering all of our many questions about caring for our new puppy. Our sweet baby was 8 wks old when we picked him up and he has slept through the night from day one. He has such a sweet temperament. He loves to play, snuggle, and is learning so fast. He is such a joy and has made our family complete.

We were looking to add to our family and did a google search - when we looked at his web page, pictures of the dogs , and the facility, we decided to make the hour and 1/2 trip- the facility is very clean, all dogs are well taken care of, and you can tell they have been loved- they are healthy and all have exceptional blood lines- Today we picked up our 9 week old female and Saturday we will go back and pick up a 4 month old male whom we fell in love with our first visit -From start to finish, Jimmy kept us informed with text messages and videos of the puppies to choose from- I know this review is lengthy, but jimmy deserves all these accolades and much more- He has been a pleasure to work with and if you are looking for a Sheltie, you need look no further

I have had Shelties all my life and finding Holly Bluff Shelties was the greatest moment for myself and my husband. We had just lost one of our shelties to cancer and thought long and hard before we adopted "Lightning Lenny". We thought maybe we should wait awhile, then I spoke and Facetimed with Jimmy and knew we needed another baby. Jimmy goes above and beyond to take the time with you and that you can adjust to the puppy. Let's just say we didn't want to leave and Jimmy and his wife are wonderful people and so lucky to have all those shelties!!! Lenny has adjusted well and is super friendly to all of our neighbors. He will be a great service dog to go and visit hospitals and homes like his other brother. Once again thank you Jimmy for everything.
