Best pet shop in town. I go mostly for the aquarium stuff, but they also sell birds, ferrets, reptiles and other small critters. Their selection isn't as big as the big box stores in most departments, but they are definitely worth checking out, and in some cases, have items I can't find in the bigger stores.Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Their animals are well taken care of. Two thumbs up from me.

Impressed with this store all around! Wonderful customer service, big selection, and I cannot stress enough how well they take care of the animals! I am so happy with my new Mini Lop. He is 6 weeks old, already litter trained, and sweet as can be.

If I could give 0 stars I would because how can yall sell a ferret and not tell me it was sick so I could take it to the vet and have it seen I don't think I will be using this pet store again to buy animals

Very friendly staff, and they take there time with you. They are very helpful with questions and info about the animals. Bought a gecko and python from them both were very healthy. I highly recommend them for all your pet needs.

My family and I went just recently and purchased a leopard turtle for my oldest and it went really well! The owners are so nice and knowledgeable and answered all questions I had. Not to mention it’s a clean pet store, well maintained. Overall, it was a great experience. This will be my go to for any future pet buys!

Just left there to buy a cockatiel and there were 2 people behind the counter and neither one spoke a word to me or offered to help. I was going to pay their price for the cockatiel but they wouldn’t even look up from their phones. So they will not be getting my business. They just lost over 400.00 dollars. Maybe next time someone comes in they will get off their phones and help them.

This place has a bit of everything! I enjoyed checking it out! One issue I saw is the betta fish display. There are bubblers in each bettas water but betta fish are labyrinth fish so they can breathe air from the surface. They don’t need a bubbler and the current will stress them to death as they aren’t strong swimmers. They will love it if you add some moss or water lettuce instead:) Cool store so much variety will be back if I ever am in the area again!

After I got some plants from here, my fish died. Don’t recommend any aquatic plants and in fact I’d be careful buying fish from here!! Man that helped us also was very distant and not very polite

Friendly, Helpful Staff. They always have a wide selection of pets from hedgehogs to reptiles. They have all of the pet care products and accessories you could need. The prices are a bit steep, but the overall quality of the products are worth it.

I really liked this pet store. the owners are super friendly. My kids went a bit crazy with excitement after seeing all the different animals. They were running around the store causing me a bit of anxiety but the owner was extremely friendly and said the kids were cute and never complained about them. We are planning on getting an entire aquarium set up and we will definitely be using Pet Palace for all of our needs. We live about 40 minutes away but it is totally worth the drive to go somewhere caring with a good selection. They are also able and willing to special order things for us like certain plants and fish. I think that's awesome.

To start its a local fish shop. Im all about supporting small businesses. The employees are very friendly and quick to assist with anything you need. I was looking for some Scarlett Badis, they ordered them and had them in store within 2 days. Only negative is deciding what fish(s) I want to buy from them next.

I'm always on the lookout for new places to buy fish, and I am super impressed with this place. It's very clean and air conditioned, and their animal stock appears healthy and active. They also offer a large selection of fish foods, items for tank maintenance, and decor. It's not just fish, either. They cater to reptiles, birds, various rodents, and dogs and cats. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic, and I will be going back in the future.

I recently bought a female bunny from them on Friday March 18. I got home with my bunny and put her in her enclosure along with her Timothy hay and pellets, she was eating and drinking water fine.But later that night when I got home on Saturday March the 19 she was slouched over in her enclosure, it was to late for me to call the store because they were closed and their also closed on Sunday March 20 so I called Monday March 21 which is today informing them of what happened. The guy at the store spoke with us shortly then gave the phone to a woman where she preceded to question us as if we intentionally hurt our rabbit. After we got done telling her what we fed our rabbit and that our rabbit had her own room, she still acted as if we had done something damaging or something to hurt the rabbit. After all that she stated there was nothing she could do because it had been 48 hours since we got the rabbit from them. It was my first time buying from them and I most definitely will never go to them for a pet again. I highly recommend that if your looking for a pet to get it from somewhere else.

Absolutely horrible!!!! They sell you animals and don't tell you how to properly take care of them. Then after over $300 in vet bills you find out the only thing wrong with your animal is you have been feeding it improperly because you were following the information given to you by this place. Not only was the information regarding food wrong but also I called the manager to express my concerns and after constantly trying to talk over me he hung up the phone on me in my face! Super rude and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! After calling around to multiple other pet stores in my area and not in my area they all agree that this place doesn't know anything about pets. The information they gave my family was completely incorrect and resulted in us almost losing the pet!!! Don't buy from here unless you are ashtray familiar with the care and maintenance of the animal you want. Also disregard anything they tell you about the pet!!!!!!

I found this pet store because we were looking for locally owned fish stores on a recent trip. A website had it listed as the top store in the state. Let me tell you, that was spot on. The fish were all healthy looking, the staff was friendly, polite, and professional. You can't ask for more in a store.

This is a good pet store it's a little pricey but the service is great and the workers always give good suggestions. 75% of the fish I've bought from pets mart have died within two weeks. Sure enough it could use some work but I appreciate the smallness of the place

Their saltwater display tanks were okay. Their sale tanks were second-rate at best, I have been a couple of times and there were some fish with ich on their sides. I have bought a clam here for my tank, but never have bought a fish--I don't think I ever will.For what it's worth, it looks like they actually have a quarantine system in the back of their store, something which the majority of fish stores don't have. Whether they use it or not is questionable.

I bought 2 snails here, and before I even got home, 1 was dead floating out of the shell, and the other had a messed up shell. I didn't call because it was only $6, and I didn't want to have to drive all the way back to Hattiesburg, but other than that the staff is pretty nice.

Love the wide selections, could use more or wider variety of fish though. Usually have very helpful, knowledgable, employees that actually help serve the customers. The prices are rather high on some things though so for sure need to watch some stuff lol
