I went into Lake Serene here on HWY. 11 at noon today 5-18-23 and the chicken livers were cooked and already dried up and hard. So I kindly ask the new manager, an older white lady if I could please get an order of fresh fried chicken livers. I have done this for over a year now without any problems. I was told that there would be no fresh fried livers until the ones on display under the hot lamp were completely gone. She said this was the New rules from management because they were loosing money by frying up fresh livers for people. Imagine that? I suggested that they not fill the display container slap full of fried goods and letting the foods get so hard that they're uneatable. Just makes good business sense to me. Well after I saw that the Deli manager was going to hold her ground, I left. Does anyone know why the NEW RULES were imposed?

This store has some good cooked foods, however, they're expensive! They carry a wide variety of things and some things that the other nearby stores don't carry, such as particular flavored vapes. This was general purpose for stopping here because I usually go to Circle K, right across the street from here. They also have a seating area to sit down and eat, which is nice. The staff have been friendly every time I've come here too. They carry so much stuff, I can't list it all! They do have a phone number that you can call for any questions or to order food before you go.

The service was friendly, food was fast, & the burgers were phenomenal. The vulgar pocket music and stringy hair of the cook dangling above the food were not so great. Wife wouldn't eat the poboy for fear of hair shrimp.

I love the food. To get to the point, this is a gas station with a large dining area of good home style country cooking. If you mind setting with the common folks, you might want to check something else for dining. I you want a good home cooked meal for $10 this is it. I am only speaking about lunch.

Good price on good catfish lunch. Served cafeteria style. Friendly folks. It's just a quick stop service station, nothing fancy at all. Popular with daytime working men and senior adults.

People are wonderfully helpful and pleasant. Food was delicious. I was given a free sample. No charge to fill up my thermos with ice water. Good people for sure.

Everyone I have met there is extremely kind. You really need to check out their catfish on Friday! Good stuff! From the management on down they are really nice! I go every Friday for the catfish!

Made this stop while riding Greyhound to Biloxi, MS. They sell hot food like potato logs, fried chicken, burritos, egg rolls, etc.I tried the southwest egg roll & it was pretty good 👍🏼The store is pretty clean and well organized. I believe there's also a subway here.

The best gas station in the area! They serve breakfast and lunch as well. They may even have dinner but I'm not 100% sure on that. The breakfast is great. They have the sweetest staff you'll find at a gas station.

I was going to pick up a snack on after I got fuel but they are holding my entire balance hostage until they process the $20 dollars in fuel. Sad because I lake this place. I’ll go somewhere else from now on.
