I don't go here often but when I go here they always have what I want. This place is perfect for oddball fish needs. The owner is super nice and helpful. Don't overlook this spot

I would like to give it more stars, but I just can't. I went to this store today, for the first time in probably 15 years. The building is very old and it shows. The fish selection was very poor in my opinion, quite a few empty or non-working aquariums. The room with all the fish was quite dark, not sure if that was for the fishes benefit or not. For a niche store, catering to a very specific consumer (fresh and saltwater aquarium hobbyists) I would have like to have seen more variety. Just a very grim store on the inside, better lighting could go a long way.

I would say the owner, Gary, is as knowledgeable about the hobby as anyone on the entire Gulf Coast. I bought my first aquarium here when I was a kid and still do to this day.

Just set up my aquarium recently. The owner Gary was amazing. He's very knowledgeable and has good prices and good products. Wide variety of fish to choose from. Will definitely be doing more business here. Much better than my experience at Petsmart.

I have a newish tank bought some neon tetras yesterday. He told me to bring water in the next time and he would test it for me. Unfortunately all my fish died. I went today and brought water. The ammonia level in the tank is super high. He explained all the results and recommended adding bacteria. Told me to bring water by weekly and will let me know when it's safe to add more fish. He definitely gets my business.

To the tanks were dirty the corals were dying the light wasn't correct on them has some good looking fish and some healthy but overall the shop health of the rest of the reef animals considered your name is crystal reef aquariums you think you're aquariums would be crystal clear

I love going there. I'm always buying my fish and fish food from there. The owner is a very nice and friendly man. Always has a smile and knowledgeable about every fish in his store.

While the layout is really neat and selection is good, the customer service just wasnt all that great and they didn't help when advice was needed. The man who was helping me was also changing prices to make me buy saying things such as," if you buy today, i'll sell for only..." It would be better to just have a price set and not think that it has to be bargained for. Not to mention the prices right down the road on pass rd are better with better service and advice.

We are visiting from California and came down for the black rodeo, I looked them up online because my grandson loves nature and it's creatures big and small plus we wanted to see the reefs, there weren't many but it was a nice experience for them. Btw that one fish does look like a dog my grandson didn't think so the debate is still on going.

It's boiling hot in here, it's hard to see the fish. And there's not much selection. I think with a little TLC it has a lot of potential.

Best place on the gulf coast too get exotic fish and more I've been going there since I was a kid and still shop there every other day the owner is cool laid-back guy and can tell you everything you need to know 👍👍👍

Don't let the outside fool u. It is very clean inside & Gary have some unique fresh water & salt water fish. Gary knows his fish & want steer u wrong. It is the best private own fish store on the coast.

This is such a nice place to just visit and look at fish and corral. The staff is very knowledgeable if you're in the process of deciding if and how you'd will to set up your aquarium.
