GOOD FOR QUICK GRABS: stopped in while visiting the area to grab a few ingredients for some home made chili. The stocking person was friendly and helpful in finding dome items needed. This was a particularly chilly day so chili was an appropriate filling choice. The store was clean and organized and the cashier was readily available. This particular discount store is part of a business model that serves the needs of small and large but particularly small when there are no larger vendors in the area. You can see their presence along the stretches of remote highways either on the edge of a town or community which not only serves the community but the passing traveler looking to grab and go with out going too deeply into an area. Makes for a cost and timing saving stop during the trip, but if one is looking for full service travel experience, stick to the fueling locations that provide the inclusive services.

This dollar general is located off of Reed road and main st. This cashier was making mistakes on all the customer about an hour ago. The lady in the front of me and my son, used her footstamp card to pay for her soda, and then she used a $10.00 bill to pay for her soap. To make a long story short. The soap didn't cost that much (2 dollars and some change. The cashier is going to hand her back some change out of a $10.00 bill. Keep in mind now, the soap only cost $2 and some change. Then when the girl and me and my son told her that she gave you a 10, she said "NO SHE DIDN'T, SHE ONLY GAVE ME A FIVE AND SOME CHANGE. I had to tell the cashier to look at the receipt before things get out of hand. Then she found her mistake. So then me and my son was getting ready to pay for our stuff, after she rung us up, she going to ask us for a dam CREDIT CARD. This just so pitiful. YOU ALL NEED SOME GOOD AND RELIABLE CASHIER'S THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. When we left the store I was happy that being in this store was over..

Never answer the phone when there is an issue. The tall man that wears glasses and works up there, always acts like he is better than anyone else. Never answers questions when asked about products. They messed up when Ashley and Linda left.

Today's trip was the first time I've seen the shelves fully organized and stocked. During previous shopping excursions, the shelves were empty and the store was in disarray.
