Food was great. Waitress was on point with drinks, appetizers, check backs, no complaints at all. Nice family atmosphere, everybody knew everybody...even when they didn't. It was kinda like being at Pot lucky Sunday after church service. Just good eating and good company. Oh and that steak was the best I've ever had!!! When you don't need any sauce...not much explanation passed that. My hats off to the chef!!! You Did That!!!

We eat there about twice a month, food is always get, waitress are always on point. I guess everyone has their moments, while there on the 22nd I placed my order at 6:10, got my food at 7:35, waitress kept apologizing I told her it was ok. Four different tables that came in after me were served and two couples left before my food came, guess it wasn’t my night for Kane’s

It was a mediocre place. We saw it passing through and with how crowded it was we thought lets try it out. I guess not much to choose from in the area..First they ran out of various things - coke, whole fish, sweet potato fries, couple other things waiter couldn't remember it all until you ordered it.I ordered the steak and fried shrimp. The shrimp was delicious. The steak I ordered medium rare which I normally go medium and should have this night. It was a little tough but the taste was good.She ordered the catfish filets. Not the best. They were a little soggy, and instead of flaky fish, seemed a little soft still inside. She didn't eat it all.All in all, it wasn't terrible. We just expected a little better and I'm sure with how busy it was affected things. Maybe another time we will try it again.

This is a great place. Steak was perfect. Shrimp was perfect. Blooming onion was perfect. And service was perfect.We splurged so wasnt cheap. But was worth every penny. We dont splurge a lot so i will come back and do another review when we go back and order our more regular eating out food.1st place we have found thst is better than the coast food!

Finally had the chance to stop for dinner.We both had the ribeye steaks, which were cooked perfectly as ordered.The staff was great even though they were busy and helped each other out well.If you're looking for a good meal in a laid back country communal setting you can't go wrong here. Probably not the place if you want a quiet intimate setting but could be still be an awesome date night stop before something else.The stuffed crabs are made well, even though prepackaged are better than some others you'll find available.

Had a wonderful evening with family this last Saturday night. Our server was great and was able to accommodate the very large party (close to 20). The food was great also. Our steaks were oversized from what we ordered and cooked just right. We love going to Kate's.

Don’t go unless you have a LOT of time & you don’t mind waiting.. my hubby & I ordered the all you can eat catfish fillets.an hour later we Finally got our food.🤨 tasted ok - definitely not the best around here.. we ordered baked potatoes & didn’t get even get them 👎didn’t get their ‘famous rolls’ either. I only gave 1 star because the busboy was nice & courteous(our waitress never even came back to ck on us @ All) HE brought out food our.. CRAZY

Great place and loved the staff! We felt bad the google website said closes at 11 and we were on way home and it was late and they took us in. We thought it was strange they were cleaning up but asked and told them what happened and they weren't rude like most would be. The food was great and everyone was friendly and attentive. Thank y'all! This place is a must!

Their steaks are the best in Marion County, tender, and seasoned/cooked to perfection. The baked potato, salad and oh-my-gracious those ROLLS just complete one of my favorite meals! The staff is very attentive and always so friendly!
