The Fish department has gotten much better over the last year. I remember a year ago buying fish with visible Ich and nearly starved to death, lots of bodies in the tanks. However, I’ve been to this PetSmart twice in the last couple months and purchased fish that are very healthy and happy. The tanks in the store look cleaner, and the fish look so much better. I bought 10 40 cent feeder goldfish and all 10 are thriving. That’s saying something I believe. I never leave reviews but this time I had to because I would like to encourage this improvement to continue.

This was my first time taking my fur baby to anyone besides the vet to get groomed. The card machine was down so I had to pay cash which was no problem. I didn't know what to expect but they did great on my maltipoo. She didn't seem scared at all once she was done.

My neighbors little dog had some itching and hot 🔥 spots, and I went to petsmart and got her exactly the spray to help her itching and to help her with the pain from itching. 1st visit, and I'll always be going here for all pets' needs. Customers helped me out with what I needed, but customer service experience was great.....🐕 🐕‍ Dogs) 🐈🐈‍⬛🐱Cats) 🐟🐠🐡 Fish).......

I want inside to pick up my online order and to double check the item that was supposedly out of stock. However, when I got to the shelves, I noticed there was inventory of the item, and I took it to the front to inquire as to why it was removed from my order when they had it in stock. At that point, the sales associate got very rude. Her tone was very condescending. She answered my questions in a way that clearly told me that she didn’t want to be bothered with me so instead of purchasing the item that was omitted from my order I elected to just received the order that I paid for. She handed the bag to me by her fingertips and snidely told me “you’re welcome”. Her behavior was very rude and uncalled for and at no point did I match her attitude or give her attitude.

Thanks to Chris that was working on Tuesday 1-23-2024 aroun 4-5, I will not be going back! I have always shopped there for my pets and never have been treated the way he treated me. I saw that he was checking out other customers so since a woman in front of me forgot something in her car I decided to go to his line. He doesn't say anything to me and walks off. Then he decides to tell me he's closed so I get back in line and he literally walks back over and says he could help the person behind me. I don't understand why he couldn't help me check out and when I asked him "I thought you were closed" he just ignored me. But don't worry I left the stuff there that I was going to purchase and decided to go to Hollywood Feed where they treated me better. I don't usually leave reviews but this was uncalled for.

Totally ADA friedly!!! Charlie was quick to help me with the heavy items I can't lift. Charlie helped me make informed decisions about my large purchase (auto litter Box, cat tree, and litter). Then Charlie secured my load in the car. When I'm faced with difficult tasks like shopping for large items, I truly appreciate someone like Charlie who helped me overcome my advertises.

This is a great store. Clean and the staff is really nice. I had to get some snails to help keep my turtle tank clean and the guy was very helpful.

I love going to petsmart even if I'm not going for anything in particular. Love looking at the dogs "shopping" with their owners and finding great markdowns. Staff is also very friendly. My dogs really love going.

I would recommend the grooming services at Petsmart at Flowood to anyone. The groomers there are well skilled and friendly. I am satisfied with the way they treat my pet.

Steer clear of here! Employees very rude especially in the fish section. Seems very inconsiderate, inconvenienced, and rude. Will never do business here again. Many dead fish in the tanks. Tanks not well maintained. Stay away from here!!!!

This store has me confused. I've gone in before and was welcomed in and was helped right away and other times, I have entered and there is 1 person at the register playing on their phone and no one else can be found. Also, sometimes their animals look healthy and other times I'm scared for the animals. Obviously, there I'd staff there that care more than others.

It takes a lot to groom my German Shepherd in the spring. PetSmart is a lifesaver for me. My boy is all shiny and new again!

Justice did an amazing job!!! I’m quick to judge grooming shops off of one negative review or if they are commercially owned. For some reason I feel like they are just so busy to take care of my dog. Let’s just say I have had bad experiences. Loki is a Goldendoodle and needs special attention. His groomer did not have openings today and I took a leap with PetSmart and I’m so happy I did. Thankfully I did not into the read negative reviews bc Justice did everything above and beyond what I expected and was so kind to him. I have found my new dog groomer. Thank you so much for Loki’s Christmas cut today! Sorry the picture is blurry!

Well your employee Nathan needs a upgraded policy, procedure and animal care information ASAP. He was very unaware when dealing with a customer that he was speaking someone who just so happens to be an expert in animal care. And as someone who is aware of your policy of not selling Fish that are either going to be feeders or pets because today he just very rudely argued with me about putting minnows in a tank with only live plants because that is not a ‘ suitable environment for them’ because let me tell you $.22 fish can handle a lot more than he thinks they can and they are very happy about their homes. He needs to understand that that policy is in place for a reason but not to attempt to run out customers. What a sad excuse of a store.

Thank you to friendly staff, Especially manager who excepted Cassius today. I didn't receive my veteran discount, and was glad to get his hair cut, but Classy Canine did a much better job on shaping the haircut around his head and paws. The top is suppose to have a bang that hang down.. Just being honest. Thanks PetSmart. God bless

This store is usually clean and employees friendly. I have 2 issues. 1, I have to have the website up everytime I check out because sale prices NEVER ring up at check out. 2nd, the betta fish need more water!!! They barely have enough to cover the fish! Unacceptable Petsmart!

Let an employee know that 2 of their hamsters were fighting and no one came to check on them. There were several other empty enclosures labeled with the same breeds and gender and we were told someone would come to separate them if we wanted to show them and no one ever showed up. Just very sad that the company continues to show how little it cares for the animals it sells.

I've gotten 2 beautiful betta fish here. I absolutely am obsessed with them. The people at Petsmart have been very helpful and kind with my questions about them.

Dropped off my 7lb maltipoo at 9:30am for his Grooming appointment. After 5 hours I decided to stop by to make sure everything was ok. When I arrived his groomer mentioned that he would call me when he’s ready (Very nonchalant) I can understand how busy they get at times, but a phone call would have been great. Provided 1 star because the manager listened and offered a credit. If your dog is ok with being in a kennel for 5-6 hours then you’ll be just fine.

I love this place because they are very professional, very kind doctor. the all-around place itself is just peaceful to come to knowing your dog will be taken care of.I have been with PetSmart for many years while living in Las Vegas, I am now in Mississippi and visited the Petsmart in flowood. Everyone there was very, very kind to my peanut which is a small dog, and to myself. I think everyone in that area or not should take their pet to this PetSmart.

Been years since I've been there because I live hour away..No one said a word to me while looking..I did see quite a few employees ..The girl working the registerseem not to get it together.. she tried to shortchange me $10 I said ma'am I gave you a 20.00 I'm sorryI did buy a dog shirt for 1 one my girls.

Some of the workers are great and really helpful, but today, I purchased a long tailed lizard and got an employee who treated the animals poorly. He would grab the long tail lizards by their tails to handle them. One tried to jump out of the enclosure, so he proceeded to squish the lizard in between his forearm and the glass to stop it, twisting his tail in the process. When we got to the counter, he said, "I guess your lizard got stressed." As I had noticed, the long tail lizard had dropped his tail and was bleeding all over the transport cup. I've bought a frog at this store and the lady who sold me the frog was very careful and the frog is still happy and healthy to this day, so it seems that some employees are trained and educated about animal handling but others not so much.
