Hands down, The Absolute BEST, customer experience I’ve had at any Kroger store I’ve visited. In fact it may be my favorite place in Central Mississippi to shop for Groceries and Hot Wheels! I’ve been all over the state looking to find those cars which are exclusive to just the Kroger/Myers’s stores! I stayed till 11:05 gathering everything up, fully expecting to get berated again like my most recent trip to the Kroger in Clinton. But to my surprise the two associates I met while checking out “Cory and Mis Kiniah” were both very kind and most generous with their time! I apologize for being late and holding them up from getting off and going home. It was past 11:00 pm at this point but I was treated as if were their friend who was shopping during normal business hours. Such a refreshing change of pace for me, as I often do my searching as late as possible so as to not interfere with the other shoppers their during the day or the 5:00pm mad rush of people who have stopped by just after leaving their own places of employment for the work day. I really could go on for a good bit, giving praise to various aspects of the location including, the wide product selection the have on hand, the hassle free returns I’ve mad with receipts from another store 100 miles away. To the overall cleanliness and orderly arrangement of their promotional/seasonal temporary product displays. Now your mileage may vary depending on the variables of the day, but I can safely suggest that you should not expect to be disappointed if you are considering coming out to this location. It’s worth the extra drive in my opinion even if you live as far away as Madison! That store is not on my list of options if only because it’s a chore just to get in the parking lot and get in the door. Im not talking about the great big store down past Lowe’s/Hobby lobby on the other side of 55. No it’s the other store over by Home Depot which I avoid at all cost. That’s a little much, it’s not terrible, but the traffic can be also it’s often crowded with the smaller floor-plan it used. I just can say enough to cover accurately how good I was made to feel about last hour Hot Wheels Hunt. Those two individuals deserve more recognition than I’m capable of offering here. I genuinely felt good when I left tonight. Would you date to guess who were still there as I was exiting the parking lot after sorting and arranging my stuff before I drove an hour back to my home in Vicksburg? Of course it was Cory and Kiniah who smiled, waved and wished me safe travels tonight. That’s how I was able to get their names for this review, they treated me better than family even after hours in the parking lot! Bravo two them both! And Bravo to the Kroger staff responsible for identifying, obtaining and retaining the type of employees the type of People who make the choice easy for me! I hope I’ve made your choice just as easy. Well done! Management and staff of the Kroger Supermarket located at 110 Promenade Blvd, Flowood, MS 39232 **** I hope this heartfelt assessment finds it’s way to desk of their General/regional manager so they can be formally recognized for the outstanding representation they are responsible for upholding in consideration of the Kroger Band in whole.

We used our health care card and the scanner said their was nothing on the card but when we called the ins company they said it was loaded. Glad I had other means otherwise no med. They should check and make sure the scanner is working properly.

Shoppers beware ! IF U R DIABETIC and EAT in the store with the items in ur buggy Yvonne will have Mr. Thorton and MS. Love ganging up on u in the store.. I have been going to dogwood Kroger since it opened. I was treated and basically accused of stealing!!! The opened little debbie boxes were in my cart along with others. I was told by Mr. Thornton that if I have a low blood sugar I will need to ask someone for permission before eating anything. It has never been an issue before. I have weak spells and it's hard for me to shop. I cried my eyes out when I got home. Found the courage to call Mr. Thornton and he said ask for permission or I'm NOT WELCOME IN HIS STORE. I called corporate and there isn't a rule for eating something out of ur buggy. Yvonne and MS. Love just have a very bad disposition and need to find a different job not not working in the public. I WILL NOT GO BACK AND END UP IN THE ER BECAUSE OF THAT STORE. I HAVE SPENT ENOUGH IN THERE TO PAY OFF MY MORTGAGE AND I GET WEAK. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND OR CARE. Puts my local Kroger to shame. So much more space and a lot more neat food stuff with Kroger discounts to purchase. Some of the hanging aisle signs didn't have anything on them but at least the entrance didn't smell like rats like *my* Kroger. :-P

I decided to go get the groceries i need for my holiday meal early Friday before the weekend and before the chaos of Thanksgiving week at the grocery store hit.Grocery shopping in person has become much more difficult due to all the Instacart or other paid shoppers. They have huge carts and make navigating through very difficult. They never smile, seem annoyed with your presence, and whatever you do, don’t ask them where something is located.Thanks to a sweet and very helpful worker, Alvin, I was able to find the cherries. He restored my joy and belief that there are still nice people out there. Kroger did well to hire him. Thank you Alvin!!

The worst staff I've ever encountered from the cashier's to the managers. Everyone is ignorant and doesn't know what they're doing. Always seem annoyed when asked for help I've never been treated so rudely at a store.

James in produce was very helpful today. It felt like an old school grocery store talking to him. You don’t usually get they kind of service anymore. We’ll be back for sure. It’s much better than our store we have in Pearl. Not just employees but condition of the store itself.

Horrible help at the pickup area. I placed a order this morning for a pickup today. I thought I scheduled for 4-5 o'clock. At 4:17 a very rude woman called me and told me to come pick up my order, I explained that it was not scheduled until 5. She told me I had it scheduled for earlier, and that if I did not come get it, it would be cancelled. Then she told me I could have had the courtesy to call and hung up on me. She would not give me her name, then I get notice she cancelled my order. I am handicapped and in a wheel chair. I am also high risk for COVID. I will never shop Promenade again!

This is a great place to shop. The produce is always beautiful, and priced fairly. Meats are a a little expensive. Other items in store are economical. I seem to find items I can't find anywhere else. I do like cooking with ingredients from around the world and they do carry a lot. They seem to be getting restocked after covid, with the unusual items again. All around great store!

This Kroger is so nice! It’s always stocked for what I need. Sean in the self check out line is so wonderful and patient 😃😜 it’s always so clean too. Big difference in other even local Krogers I’ve seen. This one is way better!!

I usually shop here for my groceries. For the most part the fruits and vegetables are quite fresh. There is an organic section. Sales are usually pretty good, but always check the expiry date because some items you purchase on sale expire the next day. Friendly staff, clean and a variety of different options that cater to different ethnic backgrounds.

I found a great Kentucky off the bone smoked Ham and had it sliced by the very nice men in the butcher/meat department. This Kroger has so much variety in not only groceries but in cards, flowers, gifts, cosmetics and household goods. Very nice and the parking was great, they have plenty of room for parking.

I had a fantastic experience at this supermarket. They actually carry a brand that I grew up with and everyone was friendly and punctual. I grew up with Boar's Head deli products and each bite to me back to my childhood.

Overall I love this store... it's always clean and has everything I need. HOWEVER.... you really need to evaluate your employees and read your reviews! Every time I come here I encounter a rude employee!! This is ridiculous and it needs to be addressed. Today was the worst I've seen. Eye rolling... sighing... speaking loud! Guess what department it was?! CUSTOMER SERVICE. 😡

While this store is well stocked and clean I am rating it 2 stars because this store has the worst employees of any grocery I’ve been to. I can only guess the problem is with management as I witnessed extreme rudeness from the manager. The employees aren’t pleasant, no one smiles and most are void of manners. Someone needs to clean house and start over!

Their products aren't bad compared to the target near by it as in having busted bags, crushed food, etc. The service however, is just as bad if not worse. Last night we were standing at a self checkout using a credit card. There is an employee that is suppose to be watching over the self checkouts just feet from us on his phone with his head down texting. We slide our card and put in the pin once and nothing prints out as if it didn't go through so we repeat all of the steps and it does it again. The employee is still looking down at his phone so we finally call him to come over he looks at the screen and hits a button, prints out the receipt gives it to us and swiftly walks off without saying a word. No sorry or have a nice night. Would he have been paying attention to the customers instead of his phone we could have gotten out a lot quicker. We dont even know if our card was charged more than once or what which we will now have to go inside the bank and find out. It appears to me that almost everywhere we go near the jackson area the employees couldnt care less and quality service. It is sickening.

The manager doesn't even wear a mask properly (does the ol' nose out trick) so of course most of the employees aren't going to either. This place is dirty.

The cashiers at the Dogwood location are honestly the rudest most un-professional people I have ever met. They speak to you in a tone like you are a burden and they pretty much throw your change in your hand like they would die if your hand touched theirs. It really is so bad that it can ruin your whole day. Even when they are done and I say thank you. They role their eyes or completely ignore me all together. I understand they have to deal with some very rude and nasty customers some times but if you greet a customer with a smile and acknowledge them and then thank them or bid therm a "Have a nice day. " Then I can guarantee you would have more nice customers than bad ones. The cashiers are the front line of the company they can make or break a customers entire experience.
