We’ve been a patient for two years here and I love their services. It’s always easy to get an appointment.There is a low turnover in the staff so, you feel comfortable leaving your pet. Everyone is very polite and most importantly, the doctors are extremely knowledgeable. I’m confident having my dog seen here.

My pups love Flowood Pet Hospital and Resort! They get so excited when they know they are going there for daycare, vet appts and bath. The front desk is wonderful. The techs are fabulous. The vets are wonderful. They even are good with our grouchy cat that hates everyone.

Our dogs LOVE visiting Flowood Animal Hospital! They are treated like a king and queen. You would think that they are the only dogs who ever go there! We appreciate everyone on the staff. The ladies at the front desk, the vet assistants, and the vets are all fantastic.

Highly recommended.Follow-up 2024. After spending almost a year with them I can say without a doubt they value your animals health and well-being over just making a dollar. Everyone from their veterinarians, receptionist, technicians, to the office/billings manager they all understand how important your fur baby is to you and will go above and beyond to put your mind at ease and treat your pet with respect and as a member of your family. I would highly recommend them for all your pet needs and they even offer a competitive insurance policy for basic needs, xrays, blood and immunizations that have bonus free daycare drop offs included and other freebies.First experience. I found a lump on my dog and called first thing in the morning. They got me in before lunch, took great care of my boy and gave me the assurance needed to do the labs, prepare for a biopsy while offering me pet insurance so no matter the outcome I’m not spending a month’s salary to ensure my pet’s health. Everyone was extremely friendly and not intimidated by my 100 pound baby and he took right to them.

I recently had to see Dr. Buchanan at Flowood Pet Hospital and Resort because my Doberman was not feeling well and my regular vet could not see him. After a very thorough and in depth evaluation of my dog she discussed what was wrong with him. She showed me the bloodwork and x-rays which showed that he had spleen and lung cancer. After that she kindly talked me through our options. Unfortunately, due to my dogs age and the severity of the cancer we made the excruciating decision to put him to rest.When my husband and I returned for that to be done the staff and Dr. Buchanan were so compassionate and understanding. When it was over and time to leave Dr. Buchanan wrapped her arms around me and gave me the sweetest and most caring hug. That meant so much to me because my heart was broken and so was my husbands because we had lost a member of our family. I appreciate Flowood Pet Hospital and Resort so much and will be using them from here on out. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Everyone here is so nice. From the minute you are greated when you walk in the door to the true caring of your baby by all the staff. I have difficulties with my hands so have to take my kitty cat in to have his nails trimmed. I don't even have to have an appointment they just take him back, get it done and I am on my way. They also recently neutered my boy and he did great. I appreciate the care they take here so much!

The staff here are like family. They remember you and your pet. I want to thank Dr. Smith so much for taking excellent care of my dog Apollo after his scary illness. He took wonderful care of my kitty Oliver when he had pancreatitis and my kitty Bailey and her skin issue from overgrooming. He always explains what is going on. The entire staff is always helpful and amazing. From the ladies at the front desk to the team behind the scenes, they truly love my dog and it shows each time I take her in as she is actually excited to go to the vet. When dropping her off and swapping leashes, she pulls the ladies to the door to the back each time she is so happy to see them.

We had an urgent and stressful situation and they got us right in and in the back within minutes of arriving and everyone from the Doctor to the vet techs to that wonderful lady at the front desk was so kind, compassionate and efficient. I love Flowood Pet Hospital and Resort. I have a large dog (160 pounds) and a medium sized dog (30 pounds). I go to them for the vet, daycare and boarding. My dogs love going there for all three. My dog hears me talking to them on the phone and runs to the door to go to daycare. I also love their all-in-one location because if anything ever happened to my dogs during daycare there is a peace of mind knowing the vet can see them immediately. I also really appreciate their dog and puppy plans. If you have a puppy definitely check it out. Wonderful people work there…they always have treats for the dogs…I don’t typically write reviews but they deserve to be praised.

We brought our 18 year old Jack Russell to be euthanized here. Spot had been seen for 18 years by Banfield vets who have come and gone and although competent and caring, the atmosphere is very distant. So I chose Flowood Pet Hospital for this major life event. The vet and the assistant were very nice. They explained each step carefully and were very compassionate allowing us to have plenty of time to say goodbye and for us to decide. They later took Spot to the back and washed him. I wanted to take him home wrapped in a blanket. They gave me a nose print of Spot. I didn’t even think about that. They did and it was nice. Later we decided to take our rescue dog, Roscoe to Flowood Pet Hospital. A day ago, we had to take him again for a skin rash. My husband said, “they took more time talking to me and examining Roscoe in this one visit than the vets at Banfield did for 18 years”. We have to add that Dr C was with Banfield prior to moving to Flowood Pet Hospital and he was Spot’s first doc who took time to care for him and all our pets. Banfield became very impersonal once he and his daughter left. Thank you Flowood Pet Hospital for making a difference in our pets’ lives.

This facility has been home to my rare Chinese Shar-Pei for some time now. The doctors and staff are some of the kindest, nurturing, and patient individuals both myself and my dog have encountered.They are caring and have transformed my stand-off dog into a sweet boy who enjoys seeing them . They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and always show their love for animals come first within the clinic .I highly recommend them especially for rare breeds!

They take such good care of Edison, Billie Jean, Sister, and Dora. Their annual care plans are a real value for all that you receive. The only complaint is with getting contact information changed over from my son to me for Edison. Other than that one issue all the staff and the vets are wonderful, friendly, and patient.

Before getting my puppy, I did a lot of research on local vets. I was draw to the idea of the wellness plan and The many advantages it offered. After only having my puppy home a few days, I noticed issues with her urination, and called Flowood Pet Hospital and Resort. They let me drop her off and called me at work with a diagnosis and treatment plan. We started her wellness plan that day and have since finished all her puppy vaccines and gotten treatment for two other minor illnesses. I’ve saved hundreds of dollars having the wellness plan in just 4 months. We love Dr. Estess and the entire staff, and I’m happy my girl doesn’t dread going to the vet!
