Delicious food, amazing people! The atmosphere is historic, yet inviting. The food was plentiful and well-priced. I was in Maben visiting in-laws… and everyone there said “don’t go to Traceway, go to Mitchell’s in Eupora!” Even the workers at the Subway. Let’s say my fiancé and I were not disappointed, and my son as well. Pictured: Philly Cheesesteaks, pulled pork fries, and the loaded fries (may be wrong on the name). We shall return SOON!!! P.S. Large banquet hall for receptions, weddings, parties, etc.

I haven't been there forever. For what you pay in any restaurant I can go to store fix supper and have left overs. I'm sure it's good but everything now days cost to much###how about a comp supper for my wife and I'll get a steak dinner soooo???What about it David Wakeman Facebook

I always love eatting at Mitchell's. Eupora is my hometown and the food is great. The steak cook to perfection and shrimp omg is awesome.

I’m a truck driver and I had my wife with me we had a very long day getting to Eupora,MS. to deliver our load the next morning and all we wanted was a nutritious meal and believe me when I tell you it is very hard to find a good meal and somewhere to park your rig at the same time. Needless to say our prayers were answered when we found this amazing establishment,from the door we were treated like family but most importantly guests. The staff so respectful and kind the atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and had a rustic country feeling that we could just not get enough of and the fact that they kept playing songs from Lynard Skynard was a big plus. Now if I start writing about how tasty and great quality the food was, I may never stop typing. So with saying that,get your butts down here and try one of their pulled pork sandwiches or their amazing ribeyes!!

So GOOD! We had the fried chicken plate, and pronounced it THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER!!! Well I tell a little white lie; cause my mother-in-law actually made the best southern farm raised free range COUNTRY FRIED CHICKIN, but Ya'LL all know that is pretty much a LOST ART of days long gone. WE WILL be BACK for the other THANGS on the Mitchell’s - Central Service Grill menu!!! CaN not wait till the next time we EAT there.....

I'm revising my review from 4 to 5 stars. I've lived in town for 3 months now and I have tried almost everything on the menu. I have not had one negative experience yet. The loaded baked potato and the courthouse special are excellent, but the grilled shrimp is my favorite menu item. The water has an "old pipe" flavor, so I ask for lemon when ordering water.

We will eat here again when in town. Very busy so get their early or prepareTo wait.We got there Just before the crowd,Once they stated coming staff did an amazing job. Service was a littleSlow but the place was packedAnd I believe like everywhere they areShort handed so it’s forgivable.Only reason didn’t get 5 stars prices are a bit high for the serving sizes.

My husband and I enjoyed our date night here last weekend so we decided to bring the kiddos here this weekend. Love the atmosphere. I really like the different scriptures they put on their menus and the Christian music playing as we ate set such a peaceful happy tone during our meal. Definitely a family oriented restaurant.

Great food. Friendly service. Its a small town that doesn't see much tourism but if you're traveling Hwy 82 and hungry this is where you should stop for lunch or dinner.

Stopped for lunch while traveling the Trace. Everything was tasty. My friend called his brisket po'boy "probably the best I ever had." My chicken tenders were huge. Great range of sides. Good food, great value.

Passing through and wanted to eat something other than fast food. We ordered the Philly steak sandwich, hot dogs for the kids, Turkey bacon sandwich, and chicken tenders. All were delicious, especially the beer battered fries. When they brought warm Cole slaw, the manager went back twice to bring some that was actually cold. Great place to eat.
