Ordered the past your prime burger. Well done and no tomatoes. I was expecting to get the pickle and grilled onions. But instead it was just plain. Nothing in it. The burger seemed a lot like a frozen premade burger, like a bubba burger. Weird since your business has a butcher in the front of the store. The fries were good and the ranch tasted in-house made. Staff was super friendly and helpful. And the order was ready really fast.

The food was very good. My ahi tuna BLT was cooked just right. Seared on the outside and red in the middle. The onion rings are excellent, the flash fried brussel sprouts are delicious. We didn't have to wait for a table. However, there was a long wait for our food, about 45 minutes. Jumbo shrimp is small, more like medium shrimp. Our waiter was nice but he was a little overworked so he didn't visit us as often as we would have preferred. We arrived at 6:42pm and the restaurant closes at 8pm, but we were still waiting to have the check picked up at 8:20, so we couldn't order desert even though we arrived early enough that we should have been able to order it.Like the new decor. We will be back, but maybe at 5pm when they are less busy.

This is a relatively new establishment that seems to still be getting into their groove. The space inside an old hotel gives the space a nice ambiance. The burgers are good here and have a nice juicy delicious flavor for the beef patties along with a nice bun. Their steak bomb sandwiches remind me a bit of a Philly cheesesteak but much better and served on a burger bun. Their seafood gumbo had a decent rue while the seafood was pathetically tiny little things with barely any seafood even in it. They were out of straws, no lemons were available for my iced tea and we had to actually ask for napkins from our server. Overall, the food seems good here while they are obviously having opening operations challenges.

This place was amazing! Great atmosphere, great service, great food! We tried the cheese bombs, gumbo, and I had the fried cod platter. Everything was delicious! The cheese bombs tasted better than any fried cheese I've ever had before, and basically melted in your mouth and came with two dipping sauces. The gumbo was similar to what I used to get at the old "French House" on the Gulf Coast...seafood gumbo, darker type roux with chunks of crabmeat...the best gumbo I've had in this area. And lastly, the fried cod platter was amazing, fish flaky and tender with crunchy hand-breaded coating...and the french fries and hush puppies were cooked to perfection. They don't skimp on the portions, and there is so much more on the menu now that we want to try, looking forward to going back. Give this place a try if you haven't already!

Went today specifically to take my sister for the fish and chips. I’ve had it before and it was delicious, as good as what we’ve had on Cape Cod. Well we ordered off the menu and when the food arrived it looked wrong. That’s because it was catfish! I pointed this out to the server, and was told that they don’t serve cod anymore. Well it’s still on the menu! I was so embarrassed that I brought my sister to an establishment that would serve you a substitution without notifying you. I told her it was a nice place. My sister even ordered a piece of cheesecake, and it was stale and cheaply made. To top it off the server accidentally added a generous tip on my tab and it was gonna be too much trouble to fix it.Give me a break!Oh and in response to your replyI messaged you on a private messageThat was not a Facebook postBut now you have shown the public your I professionalismYou absolutely did not offer to take it off my ticket, the server asked if I wanted something else. But at this point we were starving . I shouldn’t have had to pay full price for a substitution. Your menu clearly states that the fish and chips is cod. Cod and catfish are not interchangeable! The server says you haven’t had the cod since right after you opened but it’s still on the menu and the servers are not telling the customers. A reputable restaurant would have apologized and discounted the meal. My son was a restaurant manager and he always took care of his customers. What happens if you run out of steak? Are you gonna serve a hamburger patty and expect them to pay for it?You do not care if your customers are happyYou do not provide any level of professionalism or customer serviceYou advertise one thing and then replace it at will and then expect people to pay for it.I never leave a bad review, I just take my business elsewhereBut in your case I made an exceptionOh and btw!Logan’s Roadhouse in Hattiesburg has fish and chips. Lo and behold it’s made with cod! Imagine that! And it’s delicious! So if anyone out there is in the mood for real fish and chips, head to Logan’s!

Taco salad was awful and not a taco salad. The ground beef was so overcooked it was black. the hush puppies were almost black as well. My fried shrimp was good but everything else was not. Then they charged me 3% for the privilege of paying with a debit card. Not going back.
