I worked with Dr. Martin and her staff for a total of 7 years. She is very professional in what she does and her heart completely goes out to every animal no matter what kind. She, Denise and Jessica look at the animals not only as their patients but as their very own. She is the BEST Veterinarian in this area. I highly recommend her clinic and staff. Her and her staff are definitely not in it for the money, I can promise you that. To the one's that are bashing this clinic, you should be ashamed of yourself! I have seen Dr. Martin do miracles and even though sometimes the outcome may not turn out like we want it to, she puts her all in everything she does! One of the reviews I read sounded like the person was not even responsible enough to even own a pet. If you want great care for your pet taken them to Animal Medical Center of Ellisville, you will not be disappointed. :)

These people are not in this business to help pet owners who love their animals like family. They are purely money hungry and heartless. I found a kitten outside with a broken foot yesterday. I called this place and explained to them that i don't have a lot of money but i would pay up to 20 bucks if the doctor ciuld just show me how to properly wrAp this little baby kitten's leg. The kitten is apparently orphaned and only probably 8 to 10 weeks old max. They told me that it was "special work that the doctor cant ahow me without paying all the fee" and then hung up. They are heartless and cold. I did my best but the wrap keeps coming off and seems too cumbersome for the tiny thing. Shame on this vet. You would think they'd care enough to help out with something so seemingly simple as wrapping a leg on a baby kitten.

Dr. Martin and her staff are professional, caring people. She was my vet for years when I lived in Jones County. I'd trust her with my fur baby again if I lived close enough for her to treat. Don't believe all the bad things that you hear. Use common sense and sound judgment.

Cats about animals but had had issues with their billing. I refuse to pay something twice but made an agreementv to pay half and was paying in good faith. During g the off where I haven't worked in a year and a half but only had like 86$' left but it wasn't great enough so we parted ways. Great Vet but poor business demeanor and practices. Vet doesn't handle bill side but I think that's where the problem started as old me was allegedly skimming payments. I actually miss her care of my pets but it's a principle as one can only do what is humanly possible. I'm embarrassed to share this expertise but maybe it'll help others out. I would not avoid the clinic but just get receipts or use your charge/debit cards. I use a very good vet in Laurel and have had no problem and they've had no problem with my acct. Again I can only speak on my experiences and don't diminish Dr Martin so or care of pets. So this is not a bad review just an unfortunate episode that I regret and I'm sure she does too as she lost clients and who among us thinks that's good for business. It' would be different if I completely refused to pay. C'est la vie! God Bless Stay Safe Get vaccinated wear your mask and get your pets shots spayed and neutered! Oh yeah, adopt from shelters don't buy from stores pet mills or other retail places there are so many wonderful pets at you're local strutters it in the paper or ask your local vets as people get sick or lose jobs etc and they're pets lose their owners and homes!

Dr. Martin and her staff have been GREAT with Miss Sadie Bell Brewer from the first time I walked in to have Sadie checked out. They love her on her good days and on her bad days (she's moody). Dr. Martin also diagnosed an Eskimo Spitz (Puppy), that I had before Miss Sadie Bell came along, with breast cancer and put her down. Dr. Martin took her time getting ready for this procedure....she really spends a great deal of time preparing to send animals to the rainbow bridge...I admired her greatly because she had never even seen this pet of mine yet spent time to prepare to euthanize her...That's all I needed to see to make me believe she "CARES". Thank you to Dr. Martin and her staff for the GREAT care I have received with my fur babies over the years!!!!!💕💕🐕🐕🐕

All of the staff were amazing. Really seemed to truly care about your furbabies. Pricing for a first time emergency visit was very reasonable. The Vet was so educational as well. Would definitely recommend.

Dr Martin is a Pet Lover and has been taking care of my Animals for years. Very Good hearted person and so are the staff that work there. I am getting ready to call them again. I recently had to put my dog to sleep and they were Very kind . I want to take better care of my little fury friend...He needs a check up

I give Dr Martin and all of her staff a higher star than five because of the extra mile she goes from the time you walk in the clinic to the time you leave the clinic each employee cares not only about your pet but about you. After 14 years of excellent care and compassion and tears at times I would not go anywhere else. She goes above and beyond to make sure my baby is taken care of. Well worth the drive from Petal MS and I can say this clinic got the BLUE RIBBON OF JONES COUNTY for a reason. Simply the best in the pine belt in my book.

Dr. Martin has looked after my animals for several years, and has been the only person my cat has ever liked other than me. She's gentle, and truly cares about the animals and the people that bring them. She's the most compassionate person I know. Anyone who has something negative to say is obviously not sharing the whole story. I've seen people walk out on her and treat her like dirt, but she is always willing to help people who are in need. There's always two sides to every story, and people who do not understand animals or medicine need to not share their opinions on the matter, especially if you cannot even spell a procedure properly. I will never trust anyone with my animals except for Dr. Martin, and anyone who really knows her would say the same.

My mother took our beloved pet into Dr. Martin's practice on a Monday and our dog was dead by Tuesday. When I called to speak to Dr. Martin (it is to her credit that she was forthright enough to take the call) she explained that the dog passed away by cardiac arrest brought on by old age. The fact remains that the dog did not need this surgery and Dr. Martin failed completely to explain the risks that are inherent to this invasive procedure to my mother. If she would have mentioned the risk my mother NEVER would have opted for the surgery. Again, to her credit, Dr. Martin was responsible enough to admit that she should have done more to stop the surgery.My mother also contends that the dog was left on the floor without a blanket for rest and she was adamant in this point. Dr. Martin refutes this assertion but, my mother has no reason to lie about this. Our dog deserved to be comfortable in her last moments and I wish she would have had a blanket from home to offer a familiar scent.The only thing I care about is that my dog is now dead. I would advise anyone considering this vet to rethink that position. I can say with near certainty that our much loved dog would be alive today if she would have not gone through this UNNECESSARY operation and Dr. Martin did nothing to stop the procedure. That much is indisputable.

I want Dr. Martin to know that the dog I brought in today and PAID BOARDING FEES FOR TODAY, I absolutely do not give you permission to release this dog to SCAR!!!!! You refused to help with this beautiful creature until I said I would pay to board him until I could come back to get him tomorrow so you have absolutely NO CLAIM AS TO WHOM TO RELEASE HIM TO ANYONE OTHER THAN ME!!! I have gone in to help pay toward others vet bills, which are by the way more expensive than anyone else I know. I will be there tomorrow to pick him up to search for his actual owner.You were perfectly content with putting him back out in Ellisville Blvd., to be hit by a car. I have no respect for that greedy nature to care for a beautiful creature of God’s earth.

Caring staff!My kitty cat had a upper respiratory infection. They took her in and started her first round of antibiotics. I pick her up a few hours later. Kitty was all better in less than a week.
