Friendly staff even tho I work there. We do our best to keep shelves stocked what we don't recieve we can't stock. Our produce is checked daily if not more than once mostly 2 to 3 times. We try our best to make everything perfect for everyone and we are hoping to get a up grade soon to be able to check people out faster

Let me start off by saying that I am thankful Dollar General market is here and I appreciate what they do to keep food prices affordable. It's the only other competition for Ramey's, the full sized and extremely overpriced grocery store here in town.Due to size and other constraints there is a limited variety of selections and items.Lately the shelves are mostly bare and empty. Not sure if this is related to covid or other reasons going on in the US or if the items are in the back and they're just not being placed on the shelves due to lack of employees and/ or poor management.Overall the store is kind of depressing, unclean, unorganized, poorly lit. It is a relatively new store but it's already looking run down, it could be managed better to make for a more positive shopping event.Checking out can be a rough experience, there's usually only one lane open and it seems like everybody shows up at the same time, they try to herd you through the 10 items or less lane which doesn't have any counter space because it's full of junk merchandise, so you have no way to put your items out of your basket ahead of time. (Slowing checkout time)The employees are not trained in proper ways to bag items (you don't put chicken in with other food, you don't put heavy stuff next to your chips or your fruits that are going to get crushed) there is a way to logically and efficiently bag items so that they don't get damaged or cross-contaminated or need to be re bagged by the customer.Whatever the reasons, be it corporates promoting or hiring the wrong managers, lack of proper training overall, lack of properly training employees, or hiring individuals that don't care or understand how to conduct themselves in a position where "people skills" are needed.If you're going to take a job take it seriously do the best you can do no matter what it is. Take pride in your work you're in a job that requires people skills, whatever you got to do put on a fake smile, say have a good day , whether you mean it or not. Smiling ,saying nice things and being positive helps everyone.

They got very low on stock. That's very disappointing to all us out here in country. The cashier Not as friendly as when 1st open. I always try to self check because they always seem be busy doing other things.

This Dollar General Store was on Hwy. 51 N. in Crystal Springs, MS. It a new one that is like a one stop for everything. It's like a small grocery store added to a Dollar General Store.The prices are great and it has fresh produce, and nice meat selection.I got all I needed and more at this one store. The law of averages : every one was ready to check out all at once! I was in a fairly long line, only two registers were going and I thought ," oh, no, this is going to take a while. No sooner than I had that brain flash and 3 more check outs opened up. It was smoothe sailing...in 5 minutes time I was out of there! It was a pleasant experience. The cashiers were pleasant, professional, and courteous.I would say they all earned 5 stars!Sincerely,Victoria Fitzpatrick

The employees are really helpful and willing to help you in all ways that they can. Friendly employees except for one that it a little snot. It would get five stars if wasn't for her. Didn't order anything it's like a mini Walmart. I love it. Prices are pretty reasonable.

Big open isles, bright, and pretty friendly staff. Prices are fair to mid high and its hard to find the discontinued item ms at this location. However.... they have GREAT pies from Indiana State in the end cap freezer section with the cupcakes... and let me TELL YOU! Dutch Apple Pie, Apple, and Cherry are all amazing!! I’m not a big pie person but these homemade tasting babies are fine. And for $4 each .... it’s a after dinner meal or a snazzy snack of a steal! I recommend oven heating/cooking upon opening the package at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes! Perfection! Oh and the WIFI finally works at this dollar general location.

Dollar General market has a very wide selection of goods and products. They could expand their canned goods selection a good bit more. I went in here to find Rotel tomatoes and green Chili's and I found one of like 2 cans left. Other than that it was a good experience and I would definitely return to purchase goods from here. It's much closer than Walmart and just as good.

Good to shop for small items. Needs a little organization and its a bit cramped because of all of the stock that never seems to make it to the shelf. Overall its only good for small items such as chips,candy anything quick.

Love DG. They have great merchandise for little money. DG is good place to run in and pick up last minute things. I have found many things I like better than most big shopping markets.

it's a very convenient store and the employees are courteous but usually the lines are way too long bc they rarely have more than one or two registers open.

Store is ALWAYS cluttered and unkempt. Have to take LOTS of patience because only one checkout will be open with at least 10 customers waiting and God forbid couponers in line the wait can be up to 20 minutes or longer! I just try to avoid shopping there.

Its not nearly as cramped and messy as most Dollar Generals I've seen. Good selection of items. Most of my issues with this Dollar General Market are policy issues I believe. Not store based but corporate.
