Just look at all the other 1 star reviews and that tells a lot about this Kroger. Meat department has awful, lazy workers with attitudes if you need something. And they're good about hiding out in the back! No one ever answers the front office phone when calling. Going to start driving to the Starkville Kroger!! Just look at the wrong pricing...and the chicken breast was "suppose" to be on sale for $1.99 lb.!!

Great selection of food and produce. It is a nightmare to check out. Sometimes they have only one cashier or not one at all even during busy hours. The self checkout is not user friendly at all. Isles are tight and usually mostly blocked.

Kroger always has a good selection of food, even some hard-to-find grocery items can sometimes be found. The deli and meat/seafood counters offer a good selection, and the vegetables and fruits are usually well-stocked and fresh.The cashiers are generally quick, and there are also plenty of self-checkout machines.

This store is always out of stock of more popular and high demand items! Self checkout is convenient but I have only seen one actual checkout line with full service open at one time! Lines are extremely long and longer wait times! Most of the employees are friendly and helpful! Plus, I usually have to bag my own items or the checkout line time doubles! Very frustrating store! Starkville is sooooo much better!

The deli workers seem to be preoccupied and overworked. I called and requested a 1/8 sheet cake in recognition of my daughter's completion of the 11th grade. The person on the phone asked me all these questions about how I wanted the cake made etc. Well, when I got there they claimed to have no record of my order. I was treated like an annoyance. No effort was made to make the situation right. Needless to say I left with out a cake. I should have asked to speak with management but I just left.The store overall is nice but the Deli needs work.

5 years ago I gave this store a 4. Today I am changing it to a 2! This is the 1st time that I have went to Columbus and had a better customer experience in Walmart than kroger. My wife & I spent 15 minutes waiting on someone to clear a 13 item notice. Whatever they did to their self checkout scanner was BAD. As bad as the support is to help people checkout, you should have a manager supervising it.

Fresh produce. Everything is fresh. The service is fair. Has one of the better meat Selections in town. Recently installed an entrace gate which is very annoying if you want to go back to pharmacy. Speaking of pharmacy, I was at pharmacy and had lady inside come over and start jaming her finger at a sign as if to say "Are you blind, read the sign." Actually I had on dark glasses to protect my eyes after eye surgery and couldn't see upclose. Very rude. Would have been nice if she had said "Im sorry were closed for lunch, will you come back later. Thank you."Self checkout regesters are a mess and a constant problem. Recommend using cashier.

The self check-out is ridiculous! Machine constantly telling you to bag your item after scanning and most times taking forever to recognize that you have bagged the item. Then you have to wait for help to continue checking out. Look at Walmart’s system. Way better! Overall, I’m satisfied with the store. Like most stores, always check the prices on your receipt as they may be wrong.

I thought the customer service was great! The deli department was helpful. Store was clean, a little tight moving around in though. They had a good selection of items, this Kroger is smaller than most, so they won't have all the items you find in most, but still a good selection. We always enjoyed visiting Columbus, I'm not sure we will return anytime soon. In recent years it has declined, doesn't look the same at all. The people are not as nice and the area is starting to look run down, parking lots are awful, store fronts look run down and the traffic is clogged in areas. I'm sure its more people not from there since there's a base and a college located nearby. If you want places to be and visited frequently, keep them up and tend to the areas. Rude people will be everywhere, but when the areas start looking run down, traffic is a nightmare, and rude people on top of it, people stop visiting places like this Kroger. I know it has been sad for us to see. Hope the area improves, I always loved Columbus!!

Waited in one of two lines open (4 people ahead of me) for 15 minutes. When I started adding my items on conveyor belt I was hollered at by a very rude bag boy “she closed, she closed!” to which I replied “no sir, I’ve been standing here, waiting for over 10 min” he explained they were short handed and it was time for them to go on break, redirecting me to the back of the now only checkout open where the line extended into the frozen food section. I saw at least 3 employees standing around the front laughing over the situation. Manager witnessed the whole thing from customer service. I didn’t have the time to wait in line again so I walked out the door leaving my cart full of groceries that took me over two hours to shop for. I have exclusively shopped at Kroger for 7 years and use to enjoy it. Now, no one picks up the phone when you call, half the items are expired, the cashiers won’t make eye contact, and they relentlessly bag my baby food with raw meat. I think we’ll take our business elsewhere.

Waited an hour for food pick up. I ordered and paid for my groceries 2 days prior. Apparently my order was lost. Had many items out and Substitutions didn't help me. Will never return. Walmart pick up is so much better and that's where I'm going.

The place feels dated/old. The parking lot could be reformatted to be more efficient. At the check out, I said I didn't want to use self checkout because I bring my own bags and the machine always need to be cancelled as the weight doesn't work out well. Nevertheless they took me to self checkout (the cashier did ring up the items), but as I predicted the machine had to be sent an override multiple times. Largely, it was annoying that they didn't listen to me.

Waited over an hour for a grocery pickup order despite being notified in the app that it was ready. Had to call 4 times to speak with the manager (Christina) because I was hung up on and left on hold repeatedly. She proceeded to do nothing about the issue. The order wasn’t even complete and substitutions were not made. Don’t offer a service you can’t fulfill. This experience was terrible.

Now that they remodeled and added a gas station it is busy most of the time. Monday has sale items out of stock often. I wish they would have put in an entirely new store like the one in Huntsville. The parking lot is small for the increase of customers who just seemed to come out of thin air when they made these changes. This is giving walmart a run for its money and i do have some favorite items and special sale prices i appreciate like the buy 5 or 3 and save.

This store is pure chaos!! An example of this is….,The cashier wasn’t at her register when she did so up all did was ask other employees when they were getting off. I was there 20 minutes and I could say more!!!

I wasn't going to post this publicly but I'm writing this while I'm on hold waiting for the manager to answer. This is the 2nd time. Last night I went to wash my hands in the mens room. There is a typical sign that says "All employees must wash their hands before returning to work." There's also a sign-in sheet for bathroom inspection. It was signed by someone an hour previous stating that everything was alright. There was absolutely no soap in the soap dispenser. I reported it to a supervisor (no manager there) and today when I went-back, I checked and still NO soap.

Best selection of produce, sauces, drinks (adult and children) and organic foods in town. Only down side is the poor selection of meats. Refrigerated meats are very limited, but the quality is higher than other stores in town.Staff is exceptional and crazy how much they are willing to help if you need anything

I was there this morning and I shop regularly there . I went through self checking cause this lady yells reregisters were open and the other lines were long so I did . I walked to this one register and she said this one is closed ok I went to the next one before I could scan my first item she started checking this man out at the register that she said was closed hum this lady walked up to her and asked for assistance and she told her she could not help her . Then the same woman brought another woman to the same register and checked her out . This is so uncalled for .Yes , She was a Black woman and the two people she waited on were black and the woman she did not wait on was white . She the woman that worked there was dressed nice but ugly comes in many forms . I tried to call the manager and was on hold for thirty minutes . This is uncalled for and is not good service !!!

I love this grocery store! The produce section is so fresh! The deli seafood is delicious 😋 and the sushi is so fresh u would think ur in a restaurant. Best customer service by far. I enjoy ever visit to this Kroger. Thank you!

This store is always clean and has a great selection. Helpful staff truly provides service. Just be aware that parking is always terrible, but that has more to do with local drivers who can't actually drive.

This store has changed managers and there is no customer service. Customer service won't even answer the phone anymore. Like all the larger stores in Columbus their focus is pushing customers to use self checkout. I don't work for Kroger and with their high prices I expect someone to be at the checkout and to answer the phone when a customer calls.

Good food prices fresh produce store is clean and the staff is top notch always willing to help from my experience they just don't point you in the direction of something you can't find they take you to it a rarity in this day and age especially at places like wally world the Columbus and flowood Mississippi Kroger stores have the most helpful staff I've seen !!!😁😁😁💯

Good well stock store with a little higher prices. The meet section quality is what I go there for. Much better selection and quality of meat than other stores. Cost a little more but well worth it in the quality you receive.
