Thank goodness for the self checkout...when the lazy employees bother to start it up and have it on for you. Mostly they will though so they don't have to come out of the back to deal with you. When they do you can tell it is just a giant annoyance for them to have to scan your items and half bag them. then hand you a receipt. The last time I had the lovely pleasure of getting to have a real live cashier she said NOT ONE WORD TO ME THE ENTIRE EXCHANGE, she was on her phone talking about how much she hated the job and how "they better not be playin with her because she will straight walk right up out of their on their *butts* and she wasn't even playing baby!" Which I have no doubt she would do and I also have no doubt that it would be the best thing for the manager of that store and owner of Dollar General. They certainly wouldn't be losing any sort of asset. My 9 year old would be a better cashier/ customer service worker, for FREE! If not for going in grabbing what I need checking myself out and leaving in under 5 minutes without ever having to see an "employee" I would never stop at this location. HORRIBLE STAFF

I will never EVER step foot in this store! Highway 50/82 intersection. Tonight I was standing in a line at 10:45pm. It was 5 or 6 people ahead of me. I get my stuffed checked out (4 items max) and told cashier I needed to put money on my card. She AGREED and said okay. So, AFTER I had done counted it out she says can you come back tomorrow and do it?? This made me pretty upset because she had already agreed to do it then when I count it out she refused. Don’t tell someone you can do it UNLESS YOU MEAN IT AND CAN ACTUALLY DO IT. I can’t believe I’ve been coming to this store for a few years and get treated like this. Y’all won’t ever see me step foot in here. I’ll take my MONEY AND BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. At least I won’t have to deal with another issue, the long lines and 1 cashier problem.

I walked in at 9:50pm to ask the cashier what time they closed , she proceeded to tell me that they were closed. She had about 4 people in line. I couldn't really understand her bc she was wearing a face mask. She then turned around to face me and said in a rude tone" come in and get what you want though." She was extremely rude to the point that one of the girls in line walked to my car after she checked out to let me know that they closed at 10pm but that the cashier was super rude to me. I sat in my car and watched 5 more people walk in and she never said a word.

Terrible service to say the least!! One cashier and twenty customers in line at 5:30 pm. Oh yeah and an ignorant manager with a bad attitude walking around like she owns the place. I won't be back anytime soon. That's Dollar general on highway 50 next to the 82 on ramp. They don't deserve a 1 star rating. Can I give them a 1/8th star?

Employee's were very nice. This is a clean store but doesnt carry the same things I'm used to buying at my dollar store in New Hope... Didn't seem to have the same things, even Christmas items, were less than the store in New Hope...

There is a shortage of staff members and when there are staff members present, they slack off and takes long breaks in the back of the store thus leading to one person having to check everyone out. Also the workers here are not friendly and will throw your items down on the counter from the cart. Worst DG in Columbus.

The manager is great the assistant manager degrades the employs in front of customers and the night cashiers try but can't find manger in shift when store has a line to back of store but they can't find another worker and very nice store if the staff were like the manger the attitudes of the mangers assistant sucks and some if the mangers on duty is the same way but Mrs j is great

Friendly and helpful people! My only complaint is sometimes they only have 1 lane open and a long line at times. Other than that, I love this store!

Ok...Dollar General as a whole stinks! Why have four cash registers but only one open...in every doggone store, man! The lines are circling the building and the second person stocking will NOT come help checkout. I thought the Wally World was bad, this stinks!

They always only have one cashier and a long line. Otherwise good prices so i can save money so it makes it worth it.
