We have boarded our dog at BJ's a few times. They bathe him and clip his nails. They are a very fair price. If you are picking up or dropping off on a weekend you may have a bit of a wait, but they will take care of you. Our dog always comes back happy and fresh and clean! They gave him this little bandana❤️

The groomer did an excellent job on my baby but I just can’t get over the smell. I don’t know why it’s so bad but I complain every time. I always have to give my babies a bath when I get home. I know you are asking then why do you go back there but they did take excellent care of them and I guess that’s all that matters. They are also very nice.

Awesome staff, very courteous and professional, they took very good care of our family member "Sadie", gave her a bath, brushed out, and nails done, Sadie actually remembered them from last year, and was extremely excited to go inside.Awesome~Job~Folks....(I highly recommend them).

I carried my 2 Yorkie Poos in for the first time there. My female has never given any trouble at the groomer but I was told they couldn’t finish her because of her behavior. They muzzled her and recommended I give her Trazodone before I brought her back the next week to try and finish her cut. I will not drug my animals, a good groomer should never recommend this at all. She was exhausted after leaving. I don’t know what all she was put through! My male got a cut but it wasn’t a good cut as we were accustomed to having. The only reason I took them to BJ’s was convenient, the other groomer is in Amory. I will travel to Amory any day and never go back to them.

Absolutely hands down best grooming place in Columbus ms. After being turned down from pets mart due to knots being too close to the skin.. pets mart said I had to go to a vet to get my dogs hair groomed. The vet wanted to charge me anywhere from 175$-250$ including anesthesia. I said absolutely not. I took my dog to bj’s. They took my dog in to trim her nails and they ended up being able to shave her hair then and there for about 60$ I’m about 10-15 minutes. I was blown away at how fast and cheap they were! Not to mention they did such a good job! I found a permanent groomer for my dog! Thank you so much BJ’s!!

The staff were very nice. Although they were busy they were also Quick! and my baby was not shaking like a leaf when she came out like she has every where else!

They take care of our pets like they are their own fur babies. We go here for grooming and boarding. I'm so happy Columbus has this place. They are the sweetest and very helpful. Even suggested some things for my corgis itchy skin. We will be long time customers. Pro tip: call well in advance for grooming. It's a popular spot and usually booked at least a few weeks out.

I boarded my 3 month old puppy for the weekend with them, having never done anything like that before. The staff as polite, very helpful, and explained the whole boarding process in depth. The price for what my puppy received was actually very reasonable, plus the pup seemed to enjoy himself!The only downside to this review is the fact that when I elected to receive text updates with pics of my pup daily, they never delivered on that option. Kinda bummed me out that I couldn't actually see what my puppy was up to, or if he was doing well while I was out of town.

My dog left our last groomer limping, with bloody nails. He came out of BJ's with a smile on his face! They deserve everything and then some at BJ'S. SO HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE! And they are reasonably priced!

We all hate leaving our dogs for whatever reason but my Great Dane, with severe separation anxiety, trots up to BJs happily anytime we’ve had to get him groomed or board him here. I appreciate the updates and photos I receive during his stay and I love the play area they have for the pups too. I am always excited to get my doggo back happy and clean. i believe BJs is a trustworthy reliable facility with passionate animal loving employees

I was referred to this place from a friend. She had great things to say about this place especially since I've NEVER boarded dogs before so overall this was a new experience for my family and I and our much needed vacation.My golden retriever has some anxiety issues and tends to urinate when he's excited or is around a "human". I explained that several times during drop off. I have no idea as to how my dogs were treated there 😳..My issue came at pick up time. I was called this a.m at 930 from Micheal and he told me what the price was as well as what had been done for that day.we Agreed and he sounded very professional. I went to pick up my pups and the lady behind the glass asked a few questions, found my contract then started crossing out things stating "this is wrong, this should be 6 days not 5, this should say 1 bath not 2.. etc" and my total increased almost 100 bucks!!I politely asked her to explain the charges to me and even told her the amount I was expecting to pay at pick up AND I even pointed to where Michael (a worker there) wrote on the contract how much was due. This lady went to get the blonde haired lady and both of their attitudes went downhill.. 🙄 Brittney even stated " just fine, whatever just take x,y,z off and from this point on we'll strictly follow the contract" she then stormed through the door to get my dogs.. My question was HOW WAS THAT MY FAULT?? Your worker who works with u informed me on pricing so call him and get it straight then address me... RIGHT??I was willing to pay and just wanted us all on the same page but maybe the ladies there were just having a bad day? The blonde lady even stated, "how about I charge you the 290.00 and if there's an error on our end we can credit it towards your dogs next visit".. then I said no," how about you charge me the amount that's on the contract and if there's an error on my end CALL ME AND I'LL BRING U THE DIFFERENCE ".I will not return and I'm sure those ladies are sad at all! The next customer who pulled up as I was loading my pups was greeted with all welcoming smiles 😃 😊 , and of course, I felt like another NUMBER. No thanks, see u later, come again, sorry for the inconvenience.....NOTHING:) .just the world we live in;) .

I'd heard so many good things about BJ's so my husband and I decided to take our new mini schnauzer puppy there. When I picked him up he looked so confused which was somewhat expected because it was a new experience. I had to continually ask if he did ok and I barely got an answers. I realized they were busy but they acted if they could care less and didn't want to answer any of my questions and I was a NEW CUSTOMER! I was so stunned that I didn't notice the horrible job they did on my baby. He was gapped up in several places and his ears were filthy. Never again!

I called today and they said to bring my dog in for his nails trimming. I did that and right away they helped me out in a timely professional matter. Thank You for the great service and my dog loved the fact he had three woman helping him out!!

I decided to try out a doggie daycare for the first time thinking my very hyperactive husky would enjoy playing with the other doggos instead of being cooped up inside. Price was very reasonable but staff were very short when inquiring about their facility. My dog was let out (according to her activity tracker attached to her collar which is usually extremely accurate) for a total of twenty minutes the entire day. I was told they rotate between being in a confined space to playing outside, which to me is unfortunate. I would rather keep her at home. Returning phone calls was an issue as well. I will not be using this facility any longer.
