I have used the chemist since they opened and never had an issue until the last 5 months. Apparently there are new owners and they are very RUDE. My insurance was paying for my medications in FULL and they still refused to order my medicine twice with two different medicines. This happened twice within the 5 months. The first time they refused it, my doctor swapped my medicine to something else and they ordered it twice but the third month rolled around and I called for them to fill it and she straight up told me no they weren't going to fill it. So I asked what the problem was, if my insurance wasn't going to pay or what and she told me very RUDELY no I ran it and it's paying for it, I'm just not ordering it, no and hung up. I was soooo confused so my nurse called them to see what was going on and the nurse told me that the pharmacist was extremely rude and unprofessional to her about it also!!! I will never use them or recommend them to anyone again!

Frankly the BEST pharmacy I’ve used since I was a child. They know how to treat people, are kind, compassionate, and efficient. Their level of service harkens back to a time when pharmacies had soda fountains in the corner and the Pharmacist was a trusted family friend. A complete rarity in today’s market of “how many can we cram through like cattle today” pharmacies. They take my care as personally as I do it truly seems!

I was greeted upon entering the store, and got great customer service. I got everything I needed, with helpful guidance for use of products. I'm really glad my doctor recommended The Chemist! I'll definitely be going back.

All these years, I've driven by the Chemist to go to Walgreens. When my insurance changed, I had to change pharmacist. I'm so glad. Everyone inside will do anything they can to help you. It smells so minty inside. A couple of times my refills ran out and they gave me a week's worth free, contacted my doctor to update my meds, and call for me to pick up new meds. I hate medicine, but me and my dog (for the snacks) love to go pick up my meds. They are so nice and friendly. Next week, I'm going to see what they can do help manage my pain. From the other review, I had no idea they offered pain management.

I love The Chemist in Columbia. They have some of the nicest people. Love their smoothies. I have used several of their wholistic products and I’ve always been pleased. Check them out. You won’t regret it.

Great friendly staff. Many choices besides just meds and they also will bring your meds to you. Dont know of any others doing that.They appreciate their customers, I even got a coupon from them for $5.00 off any purchase.

I love getting me medicine here.They are cheaper than the other drug stores in town and their employees aren't all in your business being nosey like the other drug stores in town plus they have a cool little drive-through.
