Took my baby in for spay at a initial quote of 125ish. Got there and total doubles, I completely understand things like she needs meds, etc It was just inconvenience to have to go back 45 minutes away to get more money ( if we bring it all we spend it all) The staff excluding male vet however we're extremely helpful and informative. I am thankful vet caught hernia before it was to late. Personal opinion however he lacked the "bedside manner" we need from our vet so we won't be returning. We feel so strongly about our babies and if you present yourself as annoyed us or our animal is in your presence then just not a right for for us. Maybe be perfect for other families he was very skilled in helping her with wall lining repair.

ME AND MY DOG LOLA EXPERIENCE WITH COLLINSVILLE VETERINARIAN CLINIC WAS VERY UNPLEASANT. DR TYSON WAS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. MY FIRST EXPERIENCE AND LAST ONE. HE REALLY IS NOT CONCERN JUST ABOUT MONEY. HE TOLD ME MY DOG NEEDED A C SECTION OR SHE WAS GOING TO DIE. HE SAID SHE COULD NOT HAVE THE PUPPY BECAUSE IT WAS STUCK. HE DID LITTLE TO HELP MY DOG ALSO GAVE ME INACCURATE INFO. I HAD TO TAKE MY DOG BACK HOME AND SHE LATER DELIVERED AND IS FINE. BUT NO HELP OR CONCERN FROM HIM. ONLY MONEY. THIS VET GETS ANNOYED REAL QUICK. HE IS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. BUT GOD WORKED IT OUT.

Super friendly staff! Dr. Tyson was super friendly and took his time talking to us about our dog's procedure results (he was neutered). Their prices are more than reasonable; for example, their price to fix a male cat is as cheap as the Spay and Neuter Clinic in Hattiesburg! I can't say enough good things after bouncing around several vets in Meridian over the last couple years.

Great people. Put our dog to sleep and we're very nice and cordial about it. They charged 85$ for a shot though. The price has more than doubled I'm just a little while.

Went to get our adult male cat microchipped last minute on a Friday an hour before they closed for the day without an appointment and the process of inserting the chip into our fur baby was so fast I was still at the front counter editing my contact information and making the payment for the service.... It's worth the drive to Collinsville to get your fur babies microchipped here they are fast and gentle with your baby and the service even comes with a bright red tag for the collar alerting people they are microchipped.... The cost is cheaper than the ones in Meridian and most of the ones in Meridian didn't even come with a tag for the collar.... you simply take the paperwork they give you after the procedure and go online and register your fur baby and it's free registration but other services can be purchased on the website as well.... Highly recommended place for microchipping and other services as well..... VJ had no troubles or any discomfort after the procedure either.... Thanks so much for taking care of this for us 💚💜💛

Dr. Pompelia, Tyson took great care of my Kiki (cat) a couple of months ago when she was suffering from a flea allergy and he & his staff didn't mind answering any of my questions. She's doing great now and her fur has steadily been growing back ever since. 😻

Awesome staff great vet, I came in for a minor thing and I was in and out in no time and just a simple charge for a exam. Recently brought our new kitten in and once again great experience. Came in for our newest kitten to be neutered and they were great..they had me in and out in no time and took great care for my cat.

Never again!They are in it for $, not animals. Made the appointment just fine and they seemed nice. I only chose to go here because we won a " free" spay. They then tell us that you still end up paying for anesthesia, pain meds and other added fees- I mean, come on! This free spay cost us well over $200 and it would have been cheaper and better care at Kemper, which I should have waited and gone to based on their attitudes and shoddy care ...Upon showing up they showed no concern for my pets, barely acknowledged them, and the vet never said one word to us. These the cats to be spayed- was all he said to the assistant ( not a word to us) before snatching them up and taking them back. Only 4 hours later they were done? That should have been an overnight visit or at least hours longer based on previous experience with another vet, but we trusted they knew what they were doing. No instructions on aftercare even when I asked specifically. I took them home, but noticed one's stitches was irritated looking and began opening. I called and the woman that answered had the worst, snotty attitude. " Ugh wish you'd called sooner. We are closing for the day"like she was annoyed to do her job. It was only early afternoon. I had just saw them open for the first time, so it hadn't been long opened up. I sent her a pic of it and not 3 seconds later ( not enough time for her to look at pic) she texted back" it's fine". Well a week later and it is definitely open. I will not be back. Only went due to contest but I don't know what kind of free contest where you pay more than other vets to get attitude and shoddy care. Now I am forced to still go to another vet to fix their messy work.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Pompelia and the staff at Collinsville Veterinary Clinic. As my significant other is in the military, we have lived in many different places and visited numerous vets all around the US (at least 12 over the last ten years) and Dr. Pompelia is the ABSOLUTE BEST! We had only just moved to the area when we first went to this clinic on a Saturday evening (yes, he offers emergency care!) after our dogs were bitten by a snake. He gave us great guidance about our options and has since saved our dogs 3 times following snake bites. We have an aging dog and he has been amazing to help her. When we moved to the area she was on heavy pain medication for arthritis; he worked with us to create a preventative routine so that she no longer has to take these medications that made her sick and lethargic. She loves to run again! Finally, Dr. Pompelia just saved her life after her spleen ruptured and she was bleeding internally. I took her to a different vet (I was out of town) when her symptoms first started and they said they weren't sure what was wrong, to come back in a month if things got worse. The next week when we got home we took her to Dr. Pompelia and he had to do emergency surgery to remove her spleen to stop her from bleeding out internally. He always knows exactly what to do and often fixes the mistakes of other veterinarians. We are incredibly thankful to have this resource in our community and CANNOT recommended Dr. Pompleia and the staff at Collinsville Veterinary clinic any more strongly. He is vastly more knowledgable than any other we have used and is a great human being. He and his staff are caring thoughtful people and they offer the best Veterinary medical care anywhere around (and from our experience, in the entirety of the US).
