I’ve heavily debated posting this for a long time but I haven’t forgotten about this experience in over a year. My childhood dog got very sick this time last year and I knew she wouldn’t make it much longer. I decided that it was time to say the heartbreaking goodbye every pet owner has to make. I had used this vet before for my younger pup and never had a problem using Dr. Gill. So I decided to bring my grandma pup here to say goodbye. The woman working the front that day that I called earlier was very sweet and understanding of how hard this day can be and I was appreciative. However, once me and my mother had gone to the back it became a different story. We go to the back and they take my old pup to another room to put the thing in her arm and bring her back to the room we were in. I’m laying there next to her telling her how much I love her and then I realize that they were already about to put her to sleep giving me absolutely no time to process with a very little head ups. I had to beg and almost yell at them to stop so I can just have a few more seconds with the dog I grew up with. It was absolutely disheartening to think they were ready to put my dog down that I had for fifteen years in five minutes. Thankfully they did stop and gave me some time, but I was heartbroken by this exchange honestly. I removed my other dog from this vet because I can never go through an experience like this again. I hope it’s changed by now but you never know, and I never want to find out like that.So I posted the review above roughly a week or two ago and just received a call today from the veterinarian personally. They apologized deeply about their actions and that they never meant for things to happen that way. For them to reach out and give me the sincerest apologie truly meant the world to me and I’m thankful that they did so. So originally my review was only a one star but I feel that those actions truly helped rise my opinion on this location. I’m thankful to know that although actions sometimes seem not the best, it doesn’t mean that the veterinarian ever has ill intentions. I think this will definitely be a learning experience, and I’m just thankful that my sweet fur baby is no longer suffering and I can heal from this experience fully now thanks to this place caring enough reach out to genuinely apologize. It meant the world to me.

I have family in Clinton and over the years, this animal hospital has been there for me and my pup every time. She ends up needing her anal glands expressed about once a month, and every time I have needed that done while visiting, they have taken care of her and been great to us. One year she had some little scare and needed to see a vet, and they worked her into their schedule. Taking care of your pup while traveling can be scary, but I have no worries when I'm in Clinton because of this animal hospital!!! Keep up the awesome work!

Animal Hospital of Clinton is one of the best clinics you can take your pet to they have a top rank staff from the phone call to set up a appointment they treat you like family when you walk in the front door the ladies at the front desk give you the warmest greeting and on point to answer your questions now the doctors that work there Dr J Richard and Dr Shelby always give our pet the care she needs I can’t thank them enough for their service the Boring I will say if you need too border your pet, you will gets class A1 treatment thanks to the staff that works with the border department y’all are hands down the best with taking care of my pet to say this is one of the best Animal Hospital this a true 5 star Hospital.Thank you Dr J Richard and Dr Shelby for having an awesome team.SincerelyJ Jackson

Recently moved to Clinton, and needed to get my puppers her annual check-up and vaccines. Submitted info on their website to make an appointment, and was able to give all her relevant info on the site as well, which was very convenient. Got a call a couple of hours later to set her appointment. Show up the day of, only to find out her appointment wasn't on their schedule for some reason. However, they took us in anyways. Front staff and the vet were very friendly and professional. Overall, despite the hiccup with her appointment being booked, I was very happy with everything and will definitely continue to use them for my pets' health-care.

The staff took my dog in emergently when he was hit by a car. His hip was broken. They cared for him for 4 days. Dr. Moore called me often to give me updates. After I picked him up I was surprised to see that the bill was very reasonable and much cheaper than I imagined it would be. Very friendly and caring staff. And just look at this guy now!

Since we moved to Clinton 15 years ago, all of our dogs and cats have really liked going to the vet, even when it's time for shots. There's something about all the people who work there from the vets to the front desk that says animals are wonderful. Even better, everyone who works there knows what they're doing, and they do it with love.When it's been necessary to grieve for the loss of a loved one, they have grieved with us, just as they have shared in our joy.

Our baby Zoey, an American Bulldog, had to have a mass cut off of her stomach. The staff at Flora Animal Hospital took great care of her. I know she was scared when I dropped her off and they showed her love and comfort. Also they had us in and out pretty quickly and pricing wasn't bad either.

The office manager is RUDE and nasty acting. I went in on a Friday evening to see how staff acted in the clinic, spoke to an Alice (very nice) who said they were happy to take payments over the phone to make a credit on the account to pay for a dogs hw treatment (rescue) went back in today to set up an account and the office manager is as nasty as they come, talked out of both sides of her mouth, said they did NOT take payments over the phone to build up a credit on the account then said they would take one or two. So, can’t be both ways!!! Obviously this clinic doesn’t know which end is up!!! Keep your office manager in her office, definitely is not someone who is acclimated to being nice to a potential new client.

Time you enter the doors,, they are so caring and pleasant They love on him the entire visit. Their prices are reasonable and once my fur baby calm down from the initial shock of the surprise visit lol he settle in like clock work. I'm not going anywhere else! I’m giving this place 5 stars regardless of one very rude employee. This place is amazing, very helpful, friendly staff (except one) and the quality for the price is unbeatable. My dog has been here several times, once on short notice and they were very accommodating in a small emergency. And did I mention quality for the price??? Unbeatable. I didn’t think vet clinics like this existed anymore.The one rude employee they have isn’t worth enough for me to give anything less than 5. However, if I am invited to the front to wait to pay my bill and offered coffee, I should be allowed to drink it. This older receptionist woman with short salt and pepper hair saw me pull my mask down to drink coffee and told me to put my mask back on or go outside. Like I’m sort of vagrant. I felt very slighted. I would hope the management would talk to her about her hospitality.Like I said, she’s not worth giving this place less than 5 stars. But I give her zero stars. Never want to see this lady again.

I love this place!!! All the staff are always so kind and welcoming. My family has been taking our dogs here since I was 8 years old. I recently got a new puppy back in January. She got really sick at about 12 weeks old. Scared us to death, she was drooling excessively and would not move. We brought here in and the animal technician came up front and immediately looked her over to make sure it was Parvo. I wish I knew his name because he was so great!!!! Anyways, we ended up having to bring her back in the next day because the drooling came back. They told us they could do an endoscopy to make sure there wasn't anything obstructed or damaged in her GI tract. I promise you I probably called them 20 times that day. Major PLUS, every time I called the ladies at the front desk answered so kind-hearted and assured me she was doing great. It was a blessing having a facility like this act as they do. I will continue to use them and recommend everyone to go there. They always remember us too!!! My puppy's doctor is Dr. Gill. However, they are all wonderful!!! One more thing that i absolutely love. Anytime I call with a question concerning her health, not only do I receive a call back within 20-30 minutes; it is the Doctor himself. How awesome is that!!!

This is my favorite vet I've had Dr.Gil who was great and a woman vet I can't remember her name but they were both very nice. Their prices are the best I wished I knew about them sooner. It's so sad that I'm moving outta state.

Had a puppy who was cropped traveling cross country. Has a concern about his cup. They were able to squeeze him in, get his cup off and clean his ears. Friendly. Smelled great! Great vet.

I had a dog that we adopted from a friend when he was 7 years old. We had the dog for another 7+ years until we had to have him put to sleep - Animal Hospital was very kind to us that day!! I now have two dogs and they receive great care from Clinton Animal Hospital. I have found the Dr's and the front staff to be very friendly and accommodating.
