Just an update. As of today we have received no refund. Just like we waited an extended amount of time for our dinner we are still waiting on a refund for the raw pork chop served. If you need our account number I will be glad to provide it unless the offer for refund was just to off set the bad review.I will start off by saying my red snapper was delicious although the portion of sides scant. The service was horrible. It took us 30 minutes to get a drink and then one hour to get our food. When it takes this long you expect your food to be near perfection. As in the picture below my husband’s pork chop was served way undercooked. He ate around what he could find to be done but pork is not supposed to be served red. He said his sides were delicious. When he brought to the waitress’ attention of the undercooked meat she just blew him off.5 months later and we still not have been issued the refund we were promised.

Update:I feel like the quality of food has decreased. I initially appreciated the variety in the menu and tasty food. However, on my last visit (November 2023), the menu was limited and just not exciting. The fried catfish came with plain white rice…who does that in the Mississippi Delta?? The “pork belly” was pork, but not pork belly. Unfortunately, I think I’m done here.Original Review:The Delta Meat Market was a very pleasant surprise. It’s located in the hotel we were staying in (The Cotton House). We went for dinner and the service was A+. The chef is a James Beard Award nominee, which says a lot. I can’t remember the name of my cocktail, but it was basically a Cosmo topped with bubbly (either Prosecco or Champagne). The first one was good but the 2nd didn’t taste the same. The bartender left out the bubbly. Our server was quick to resolve the issue, so that was much appreciated. My party of 2 shared the Burrata as an appetizer…it was different but good! I had the scallops and spinach salad as an entrée. The scallops were cooked to perfection (which is hard to do) but the spinach salad didn’t meet the mark. I’ve had better and can make better at home. The presentation of the salad was lacking and the hot bacon vinaigrette both appeared to be and tasted like straight bacon grease. Again, I make a similar vinaigrette at home so this was disappointing. The other guest had the grilled pork chop which was tender and very flavorful. We shared the moonpie bread pudding for dessert. While it didn’t taste like moonpie, it was a delicious and very rich dessert. While there are some things that could be better, I’d definitely return.

This restaurant is located in the hotel I am staying in. Figured I would give it a try and so glad I did. I ordered Chicken Fettuccine with a Rye Bourbon on the rocks and for dessert the Moon Pie Bread Pudding. Everything was delicious.I’m from New Orleans so good food is the norm for me. Dinner tonight was as good as anything at any restaurant back home. Definitely recommend this place.

First time staying at the cotton house and first time eating at The DMM (Delta Meat Market). Food was amazing, drink was good and service was great. It was a little pricey(that’s my fault) but you get what you pay for and this was definitely worth it. I will definitely be back!

Fabulous food and drinks. The manager, Steve is awesome! The Meat Market has a great ribeye and don’t miss Bar Fontaine. Ask for the blueberry martini. It’s a Steve specialty!

So the food here is a bit pricey, like Crave and Warehouse but the food is very delicious. We went for lunch and got a turkey sandwich with roasted brussel sprouts and a beef sandwich with roasted brussel sprouts. We also did the make your own Bloody Mary's and Mamosas.

We ordered a 2 Wedge salads and they brought us 2 Cobb salads. They would not admit that they made a mistake. My wife talked about the Wedge all the way there. I will not go back.

We had dinner here last Saturday night. It was outstanding. I had the flat iron steak. It was the most flavorful steak I have ever had. It was served on top of grits with grilled veggies. It was so dang good, I’ll make the 5 hour drive back to Cleveland just for this place! My wife had red snapper...served on a medley of veggies that I had no idea went with fish! It was phenomenal. It’s a casual, but beautiful place. Great, friendly southern hospitality! We will be back! And the moonpie bread pudding was incredible! Sorry...it was the only photo I thought to take...everything was so damned good!

I visited Delta Meat Market on two separate occasions during a business trip to Cleveland. I stopped in Sunday night as it was one of the only places in town that isn't a chain that was open. The atmosphere was great, it wasn't too busy so it was nice and quiet. Where to get service was a bit confusing walking in - needed to order at the bar, found my own seat and they brought my hamburger to me. Hamburger was excellent - lots of smokey flavor and the price was right. Being Sunday, they had a very limited menu. Draft beer selection is pretty pitiful, but they have some can selections as well. Staff was awesome - personable, approachable, and actually took a moment to chat.I returned my last night in Cleveland - menu was more full, restaurant was pretty full so I sat at the bar. Had a beer then switched to a mixed drink - the Old Fashioned was mixed very well - the bartenders were again awesome, personable, and held conversations with us at the bar. I ordered the steak frites I believe - amazing strips of perfectly-cooked steak over fries. Just awesome.I wish I could have gone back - this was my favorite place in Cleveland due to the staff and the clientele who took time to chat at the bar. It was great for an extrovert traveling alone in need of some social human interaction.

EDIT: I can't respond to your comment but a gift certificate would be a nice gesture. I eat lunch there occasionally so just leave it with the cashier with my name on it and I will stop by Thursday. I will grab some filets and maybe we can do a new review. Respond if you see this.Part of me wants to give them no stars. I stopped by to get steaks to cook that night for family and decided to have lunch while I was there. FirstThe Bad:I had a 40 minute drive home so I decided to get frozen prepackaged steaks from the freezer by the front door instead of getting fresh. I got three steaks, two short loin and a porterhouse I think. Two of them were noticably darker as you can see in the pics. The guy said that was because they were aged. Ok. Three steaks, $111 and some change. When I opened them at home they smelled horrible. I thought maybe because they were vacuum sealed? I wrinsed them with cool water then onto the grill. They smelled even worse after cooking. Like get them off the table, ruining people's appetite kinda smell. Pretty upset we had to share $6 worth of sausage I cooked because I had to throw $112 worth of beef in the trash. I know I can't be the only one because there were several more in the freezer. The Good:Lunch was fantastic. Fried pork chop with grits and green beans.I might stop by for lunch. Or maybe pimento cheese. I will buy my beef somewhere else though.

The place has very nice decor. The waitresses were very polite/sweet and often apologetic. That's the positive. In contrast to those things, it took no less than 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive (the restaurant didn't seem busy). When they did arrive they weren't what we ordered.... That wasn't worth writing a negative review about, but the raw chicken and broken glasses we had inspired me to post this.

We had lunch during the down week between a Christmas and New Year’s. We were a little disappointed that the tamales were not available, but the rest of the menu lived up to our hyped up, “Somebody Feed Phil” expectations. The wedge salad is a thing of beauty and is very well a meal in itself. The hot ham and cheese sandwich was perfect. The staff is friendly and the environment bright and clean. A wonderful place for a meal, and the grits, polenta, and cornmeal are available for purchase. Enjoy!

I travel for work, and I have had many, many good meals.I’m very fortunate in fact to have tried as many different things in different places as I have.So when I say that the DMM burger was on point, it would be an understatement.Garden tomatoes (it’s a big deal if you know the difference or have a farm like I do) sweet bun, perfect beef, etc.Highly recommended by your traveling foodie :)

Beautiful place but limited menu. We didnt make it pass our appetizer due to burnt cheese that came with pretzal..informed the waiter and still had to pay due to pretzal being ate...mind you it was 5 in my party. Along with a drink that was brought but wasn't mine due to her putting it in wrong....no apology or anything. Will not return!!

Two stars for convenience alone. Most of the food was cold. I've worked in hotels before and this is the same bagged food that most places use. The restaurant looks like it would be upscale, but the food is standard hotel fare. The coffee had lots of grounds in it. The attendant said he didn't have any help that morning and that he really didn't know what he was doing. The Bar Fontaine, on the other hand, was great! The staff was attentive, accommodating, and polite. The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. The outdoor seating area was nice on a warm evening in September.

I have been to delta meat market many times and have had mixed experiences. Today, I went and asked for a grilled cheese with soup. My food came out, and it was the correct soup but instead of a grilled cheese it was a hamburger. I picked it up in confusion and waited for the waiter to come by so I could get her attention. Eventually she came back with my grilled cheese and apologized, but then she moved the soup to the other plate and took the hamburger that I had already touched to the correct table. After all this the grilled cheese was quite bad and tasted as if it had been sitting on the counter for a couple hours.
