The dollar general market was a great place when Mr snow was the manager. The new manager is not so great and she is quite rude and the amount of food and produce and clothes that this place throw in there dumpster is outrageous and insane. They have a salvation army bin in the parking lot why throw away good xlothes when you can donate and why waste all that food when there are starving people in this started . It's unacceptable and someone should be held accountable.

I don’t give them any stars when it come to their corporate headquarters not properly handling their business when it comes to the treatment of their employees. Consecutively for over three months they’ve allowed their Only bathroom in the building to go without functioning for use. When I shop in there and think that how can they go all day like that, I’m sure their female employees have it worse considering their women. All of their employees strive effortlessly to keep in code with their constant changes and still manage to assist the customers daily effectively. They all deserve a bonus.

Warning! If you buy anything from the Canton store .... please make sure you look at the prices. They will have the prices on the shelves cheaper then when you get to the register and you will end up paying more. (This is very common with alot of items in this store. This not the first time this has happened.) That is some shady stuff for a business. They will not sell the item for the price it is on the shelf due to their mistake. Cashier told me that what ever the price is in the system is the price you pay. NO! You suppose to sell it for what the price is on the shelf not my fault you didn't update the price tags. That's false advertising. I have never seen a business too lazy to update their price tags. They keep doing this people will catch on and stop coming there when they realize they paying more for stuff that was priced wrong.

I love dollar general market.they always have what I wants & needs.the place is clean.the bathroom are good & clean.the people are friendly.the place is kinda big.i likes this dollar general the best.its my favorite.i know All the people that's there.they're nice &if I need to go there at night, they're open until 9:30.if you want & needs something.go here.they have it.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Ty and Kita are always willing to help a customer in need. They are 2 of the managers. They are great because they can always be found on the floor and not hid in the office. The store just under went a remodel over the past week so we have added some new products and taken away some! Things are better organized and seem more roomy.

Fun store to shop, found things I didn't need. The customer service was good. Young man in the COOLER department helped me locate an item on the shelf. I thought that was great & nice of him. His boss didn't appear to agree. CUSTOMERS ALWAYS FIRST.

It had unfriendly employees, that did their job of checking customers out but left no doubt they would rather been anywhere else. Couldn't even take the time to speak or make eye contact. With customers. I watched 4 ppl go before me and niether one of the 2 cashier's ever responded to greating from customers.

Friend mentioned DG has produce. 1st time visit, NOT impressed. Dollar General either doesn’t care or maybe can’t afford to fix one of the DARKEST PARKING LOTS ON THE PLANET—actually, more like the dark side of the moon (See pics.)! Corporate must be closet astronomers or star gazers???? 🤣 And lots of empty shelves just like the Bentonia store. Sheeeeeesh! 🙄 Minus three stars.

Ok. It’s a DG so expectations have to be set accordingly I understand. Yet, I’ve seen so many great DG stores in so many places (they’re building one every other block these days too of course). Many are good, some are amazing, lots are like this one - a little worse for wear. Could use a broom and some product put on shelves and not in random bins blocking isles, etc. The convenience outweighs that most times, except when service is lacking. The staff here weren’t terrible, but they seemed to just want to be somewhere else... that made me feel the same.

Lord, have mercy. I have never seen a DG this recked. It's a shame this store doesn't have any stock. Its unclean, products are everywhere the store needs a GM to come in a close down for a month or so to really get it together. This tragic out is the result of poor management. In my opinion, the whole staff should be fired or trained. Its really has an big effect on business when consumers can't get what they're shopping for and when the store is in an uproar and unkept.

First time I had ever been to a Dollar General market. So I was kind of surprised when I walked in and seen everything. Very nice store I got some very good deals and then you had your regular stuff like you normally do at Dollar General. I can't wait till they either get one in North Carolina or Michigan

Always friendly, but the store is just a mess, I enjoy shopping at Dollar General but it's concerning that almost all of the stores in this area are like this, they would do a lot more business if products were actually on the shelves! Do better dollar general!

First time here while traveling. Very clean, well stocked, friendly workers and loved the fact they had groceries such as fruit and fresh meat. Everything looked fresh!! Hope they make more stores like this!

Convenient stop that has a lot more things than you would think when you really don't feel like doing the whole big box experience where you park a mile away and then hike to each and every opposite end of a gigantic store for just a few items that you find yourself in need of. Clean, quick, and convenient, aka, In'n'out. 😉

The store is great but due to the only other store in town closing, the demand now falls on a short staffed team. The staff does a great job handling what they can but until they are able to adjust to the increased demand the overall experience will not be as great as it could be.

Guys it was the first of the month the end of the month and the third as well as Friday all on the same day! I had to get in early. Let me tell ya, when I say stocked they were ready and so was I. I got Gain wasted! I ended up making a total of 3 trips because I had so many $5 off $25 coupons for Friday and Saturday as well as my Gain coupons were about to expire on the first. They had so many sales going on so people were everywhere!!! The staff is down to earth no attitudes and truly works with the customer to locate items they are looking for. If the shelf was empty they checked stock to see if any others were available.

A mini grocery store inside of a Dollar General is a novel idea! However, the inventory on the app vs. inside the store was not in sync, so the items I drove 20 minutes for were not there although the app said they were in stock.

Prices are pretty reasonable. Some things are cheaper than the Big Blue Box Store. But, it is cluttered and messy. And the lines are super long, especially if you only have 1 or 2 items.

Loved this market concept. I wish we had one close to home. There was yelling from the cashier to the manager who was somewhere toward the back of the store which was somewhat alarming. The store was clean and orderly.

Wow! Very surprised by this store! Almost like a mini Walmart. I think itbis great for the area, especially considering the Piggly Wiggly closing. Very neat with a great stock.

I like the ol school way of shopping here and having knowledgeable staff ready to assist...Must I say also, they have employees at the checkout doing their job....not vacant checkout lanes for show...Great experience...
