Normally I enjoy going to Vowels for fast courteous service... Today was different..I'm posting this simply for our Elderly and others who have not jumped on the computer train...I go in buy a few things and noticed that 18 packs of eggs were free with a purchase of ten dollars...I grab one go through the cashier and then I remember that I needed mayonnaise and couple of things I had forgotten after checking my list..I go ahead and check out so I don't hold up the line...I leave my cart of groceries and come back to a long line...I tell the cashier I'm going to service after getting my forgotten items...It rings over ten ..I told the cashier the whole thing along with already getting the special but after spending another 20 can I get another free pack of 18 eggs..No problem she said..So when I return ( after jogging all the way through the store) she said I need to see your app... I said app ? The sign says with a purchase of ten dollars or more..it doesn't mention the app....They argued with me until I said keep them...I came home and immediately uninstalled my Vowels app...Now back to the Elderly...They are paying the same outrageous..hiked up amount for groceries as everyone else...I don't believe a gift for your patrons should depend on whether or not they're Internet savvy...Or at the very least put it on the sign in warning to them that without it Vowels doesn't appreciate your business

Nice place, some of the employees have great attitudes. They have a food court, but they lack hospitality. Sometimes they're rude if you're not a regular customer. They need some corrections in that area. Some of there priced items are high but, overall they're better than Walmart. Especially with service.

Was in the area during a show and had to grab a few things. This place reminds me of the hometown grocery stores I'm accustomed to shopping at back home. Akin to a piggly wiggly or something similar. Small town vibes and decently priced items. They have a wide variety of options available for clearance. Nice layout of establishment. Friendly staff and quick check out. Got what was needed and done. I could definitely see myself returning if need be.

The food in the deli has gotten nasty, nothing has a taste to it anymore!! I've tried it several times this week thinking my taste buds was off but no baked chicken dry with no seasoning at all...to nasty rice spoiled one day, fried chicken dry tasting like bacon grease... and the attitudes of the workers in the deli is awful not all of them but the ones serving the food has the worst attitude...they really should bring back the old workers who knew how to cook and treat people...

Deli food is good for a great price staff is always pleasant and great to stop in to grab something quick for dinner. You can still find all of the meats your mama and grandma irised to cook with this is my go to place

This store has fantastic customer service. Vowells carries their own line of spices that are very generous for the price. They have good sales. Everyday items are expensive though. The deli has good food and they bake inexpensive custom cakes. Great atmosphere.

It's ok ,, just have to watch what you buy ..Certain items are way over priced,,.Always great prices on meats.They do run some awesome sales on meats when they do ..Always have a great experience checking out ..Check out daily deals ,, they give away different items each day with a minimum purchase.I'm more impressed with Vowels now , they are getting better with prices .

Currently they have 2.5lbs of chicken wings for $4.39. Great price! They also have sishi for $1.39. You can't beat it.

Good meat choices and the prices aren't bad. good amount of choice products. Nice variety. Fruits and vegetables were fresh, but seemed slightly higher than the average price but not by much give or take a dime or two. Found bags for a buck stuffed with veggies and fruits just begging for a smoothie.

Great meat selection on beef and chicken. Competitive pricing on leg quarters 🍗🍗🍗. Sales often. Lettuce 0.99c and cheap fresh house brand bread. Great plate lunches and salad bar. Nice deli and cake customizations.

Great neighborhood grocery store. Very friendly and helpful staff. Usually have some very good specials to choose from. Easy to get into and out of. They have one of the best delis in town. The food is excellent and you get big portions for the price. Also has a gas station located in the same parking lot. The gas prices are usually the lowest in town and around the surrounding area. Will shop here again.

I always ♥ to shop here. Easy access and parking. I can find everything easier and quicker than Walmart. But lately both have problems with their stock. I realize that shipping is a problem right now but ordering ahead is just good customer service.

Highly recommend for people making red beans and rice & using store bought beans - use the Best Choice. These are the absolute best we've found over the years and we will go out of our way to get them. Wonderful staff and a great place to visit with strangers in the line

Vowel's is a great place to shop. It's affordable and clean. There's no fluff or bells and whistles but you'll find what you need. The deli food is great and the meat and vegetables are fresh. You can get in and out without a long wait.

Vowell's is my favorite grocery store. All of the management are absolutely the best. One of there items is the meat section which is always freshly cut and if I need a certain meat Mr. Thomas is always meets my needs and has a smile every time i see him. Ms. Jackie and Mr. Greg are the best. A BIG THANK YOU.

Byram, MS Location. My son didn't know the store wasn't open and the doors where unlocked. He walked in an went to the frozen food section. He picked an item and walked to the front and the women started yelling at him telling him to leave the store or she was going to call the police, get out. Nasty people at this location. Screaming at the customer like a crazy lady because a customer thought the store was open. Horrible people.00000000000000 stars. NONE

I drive a good distance just to come here for the meats. They are the only store that has the absolute best and freshest meat in the metro area. Also, the chicken is of normal size and great prices.
