Kendra is about as unprofessional as you could possibly be. I went in the store for a few items I needed and while trying to check out, the computer apparently froze. Kendra ( who is a manager and was working the second register) rebooted the register, but after 5 mins it still wasn’t working. I asked if I could just be checked out on the other side and she informed me that she wasn’t letting me cut in line. I explained that I didn’t want to get in front of anyone in that other line, I just wanted to be checked out on her register since the other register clearly wasn’t working. She snapped at me that she wasn’t going to argue with me and picked my stuff up and “dropped” it on the floor before finally checking me out on the working register. I know that very little happens when you complain about an employee. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do sometimes. I will avoid this store from now on though. The Dollar General on Siwell is 100 % better.

This place has gone way down hill. I asked if my 6 year old son could use the restroom and was told no. They do not open the restrooms to shoppers anymore per manager. This store is always nasty, never cleaned or stocked with merchandise. Employees will not help you. Lines are ridiculous with one cashier, but other employees in the store and they will not open up another register. Horrible place to shop.

I go more than a couple times a week and I've shopped them all in my area. I prefer the Terry Dollar General over the rest because the people working there are very friendly and helpful. And the place is well lit with GREAT security. I highly recommend this place. And if you want friendly, safety, and wheelchair friendly then this is the one that's got it all.

Good place to pick up items when you don't have time for the big stores. Only problem is most of the stock seems to be on carts instead of shelves. Usually blocking the isles you need to be on. It's not a monopoly though, most Dollar Generals are that way.

I was waiting in line for 20 minutes because the employee wanted to have a long personal conversation with the customer in front of me. Then when it was my turn, she didn't greet me or even show a little customer service. She was very rude and it was almost like I was bothering her or something.New review:8/9/2021- 12:55 pmMe and my sister walked in and we were the only ones beside the cashier in the store. I got my belongings and went to the cash register. I walked up and said hello and put my stuff down. The cashier ignored me and contained texting on her phone. So, I gavd it a minute and said hello again, ignored for a second time. About 3 minutes later she acknowledged me, rung me up and didn't say a word. Customer service is not what it used to be.

I enjoy shopping with dollar general because they always offer some type of deal on really good items such as bathroom towels, some appliances and other stuff that you want and you don't have to go to Walmart to find them. Great costumer service. I like it slot.

People that work there are rude. They always over charge you. Then act like its a problem that you want your money back, because they don't know how to do their job. There's a dollar store on every corner, I would definitely chose one other than waste my time and money for these people to be rude. Its not my fault you can't do your job, if you don't like working there stay home. A lot of other people can and surely will be glad to take your place.

The digital coupons NEVER I MEAN NEVER WORK. THEN there's no way they can even accommodate the prices they advertise in their ads by this time there's only 1 cashier so the line has started backing up resulting in you saying forget it just forget it. I don't even know why they advertise sales prices or offer digital coupons bc they NEVER WORK AND THE EMPLOYEES AREN'T TRAINED ON HOW TO MANUALLY KEY THEM WHEN YOU SHOW THEM THE SALES PAPER WITHIN THE CORRECT DATES.

For everyone who said this store is clean should be ashamed of themselves... There is absolutely nothing clean about this store, and a lot of times they merchandise be old and expires just days after buying it... Don't lie on these reviews because it's not cool... I would love to work there thought to actually HELP, They always have millions of totes out which haven't been stocked yet, I can imagine their sales records because that's too much to never make it to the selves and when it does it's old because it sat there a long time .. As for the employees, only one I can recall is nice, and she is caucaCauc, not really sure of the names. But there is a girl there now named Bria who seems very nice as well but she lies, I asked if they were hiring and she had no reason to lie, I can see if I was dressed funny or tore up by the head or if I was rude. She just liked because that's what girls do to keep you from being able to get the hob. Haters. Smh. I will still be calling and checking on my application with the manager because I see great potential there and I wouldn't mind working with the ones that I do see there and I feel I can be a great candidate for the job! Wish me luck.. this store needs help! 💜

Laura was AWESOME!! I needed ballons, but they were out of helium, so she gave me ballons on a display! She didn't have to do that and it was so unexpected, but deeply appreciated! Thank you Laura and will be visiting again soon!

Typical dollar general store with normal house hold goods for sell at a decent price. Past couple times I've been there the store has been a little disarrayed do to change up on inventory and restocking but overall a good experience and friendly staff

Had to wait in a very long line. There was only 1 cashiers and I didn't see another employee in the store. She was nice and aplogetic, but ppl are in hurry and there should have been another employee there to help her.

This store is very crowded, one male employee asked me if I was supposed to pay for the insert that they had in the store with their sale items. I went there to coupon shop only to be told that my internet coupons were not accepted! (even though their policy clearly says that they do) very disappointed.

Store is always to crowed with boxes of inventory very unorganized! Employees there are not friendly the manager or assistance manager there believe her name was Teresa is very rude I will not go back and will let others know how I was treated there

This is a well stocked and one of the better Dollar General locations. Easy in and out. Courteous staff. Plus, no one can beat the value a Dollar General offers. Will visit this location again.

The cashiers are friendly and the items I need are in stock. The checkout line is long because they have one cashier on the register. Most times I 'm not in a hurry, so that's not a problem.

I dashed in to get a few things but came back with plenty. DG is a good place for stocking your kitchen & bathroom cabinets. I came back with plenty of canned goods, too.

In Michigan the only place you find Dollar Generals are poor neighborhoods. Funny how they are everywhere in Mississippi.Makes me miss home.

Why are the cashier so mean are they paid so little that they’re so depressed that they have to be mean to us to make them happy I have no idea I wish someone could figure this out because there’s no reason to be that unhappy at any job in the world
