I have had to use reeds this week for the first time since I moved to the area. The weather is terrible the parking lots and roads are completely filled with ice and snow. The few times I have gone to Reeds they were packed completely. The lines went from the front of the building to the back of the building. I am extremely impressed with the way reeds has come together as a business and employees. They have done an outstanding customer service job. For what they have had to deal with. They are friendly under the worst conditions. They have all of the shelves stocked despite the overabundance of customers.

They have one of the best and friendliest cashiers that always works the register closest to the alcohol coolers. The reason I can't give them 5 stars is because they have some very rude younger employees unfortunately.

Nice and friendly staff. They’re so willing to help you find anything. Great prices, I paid half of what I would have paid at Walmart for the same products and brand.

Reed's in Byhalia is such a "RIP-OFF." If you look at your receipt closely, you will find that you have been charged full price for "sale" items. And you won't get credit for "super digital deal" coupons which you have loaded. Also, this Reed's charges sales tax on Food Stamp (EBT) Cards. They claim that it's on coupons you use. But the coupons only have a cash value of 1/10 of 1%, so it would take HUNDREDS of coupons to amount to 32 cents sales tax...ILLEGAL. AVOID this Reed's Store in Byhalia, Mississippi if possible.

Always check your receipt thoroughly before you leave the store, especially on "sale" items, if you make a purchase at the Reed's in Byhalia, MS. The Reed's in Byhalia regularly charges full price for items they advertise as being on sale in their ad. Last week, I purchased some Florida's Natural orange juice, 89 oz., which was advertised in Reed's ad (photo of ad attached) as being on sale for $4.99. I was charged $5.99 (photo of receipt attached). When I went to the Reed's customer service desk this morning, a rude hateful, female customer service representative immediately advised me, "I hope you've got your receipt." When I produced both the receipt and the Weekly Ad, she advised me that she couldn't refund the dollar unless I had the card which I made the purchase on. This has never been a problem any of the other three (3) times that I've been charged full price for "sale" items. I informed her that I did not have it with me and she refused to refund my dollar. She was looking for any excuse to keep the money. What a rip-off.

They have great deal's on the meats & their meats appeared to be so much fresher than Kroger or Wal-Mart matter of fact the meat tasted fresh great work!!!

This is a very well maintained local business. It's much cleaner and nicer than WalMart. It's always packed with customers, longer lines to check out but the cashiers are Very Fast. Don't let that deter you! Management will make things right if there's a problem. Meat and produce are very good. They are pricey, a tad higher than Kroger and WM on some things, but it's worth it to keep our smaller grocery chains in business.

Staff very friendly, meat is fresh and meat prices are good. It is convenient at times. My problem with it is that 3 times in last 8 months their specials such as save $8 when you purchase 8 items or 3day sale (Fri, Sat, Sun) prices don’t ring up correctly so check your receipt. Refund service is friendly but an inconvenience. Also, because it is a small town store they may not carry everything on the sales ad.

It would be good to hear, "Good morning Sir, did you find everything you need." "Thank you and come again." We must teach the younger generation the importance of great customer services. Don't just speak to someone who looks like you and not speak to the ones who are different looking than you. Diversity training is very important when you serve the public. Ignorance is no excuse. Someone is always analyzing mannerism and professionalism of service provider. Change is a constant.

Could use more employees/workers ... Long lines but just for the few employees they have working the cash registers, the service moves along fairly fast. And every employee I've met so far the customer service has been great!

Great place, just need to get a better variety of some items. Prices are okay considering the nearest other grocery store is a little drive away. The only downside is they have so many young kids employees, and they are very inexperienced and lack customer service skills. I have bought on many occasions over $200 worth of groceries and wasn't offered a carryout. When you have two young children while you're shopping, that would be very helpful!

I just moved to Byhalia from midtown Memphis and coming from the city I was skeptical that I would like this store, but I absolutely love it. Everyone is so friendly, it's really clean and the prices are great! I love that they some organic choices. That is a priority for me so I just wish they had more organic meats and produce, otherwise I would've given them 5 stars!

Great little hometown store that's clean and stocked well,with only a few exceptions.The meat selection has always been great.The employees are super nice and helpful.Shop here often since the change from Piggly Wiggly to REEDS .Review from 3 yrs agoThe folks who work here are super friendly,but the prices are way too high. I shop here for small items that I run out of often,soda,bread,salad fixings,mayo because it's close to home,but if I need to do a full grocery run,I will drive the little over 30mins to Olive Branch or Collierville.

I absolutely love Reed’s Market! I live in Holly Springs and was passing through Byhalia one day, so I stopped by for a few items, and I’m so glad I did! It was super clean and well stocked. There were plenty of cashiers, and I love how they have employees that bag the groceries and help take them to your car. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I will be buying my groceries here from now on. No more crowded Walmarts for me!

Man this place is a FOR REAL throwback Mom and Pop grocery store from the late 80's early 90's with modern registers. It has 4 checkout lanes and boy to sack your groceries EVERY time. It is always packed and busy. There isn't any major grocery stores in Byhalia so this is your only option if you don't want to drive 20 mins.

Always go here to get beef, pork or chicken, Walmart meat just taste fake.... Piggy Wiggy has the best bacon for sure.... and always stocked on ground beef which doesn't seem fake.. (bought ground beef from Walmart made burgers like usual and cooked both sides til no red came out and bite into it and it's still pink like wth.)

This is a great place to shop. Great values, produce, meat and the customer service is over the top! They always have 3 to 5 cashiers and the young people bagging groceries are well dressed and polite!

I usually come in here weekly to pull money off of my card , but yesterday when i walked in a new young female was working and told me that she refused to pull off my money and that id have to pull off $500 for her to do and that it wont be a $1 fee its gonna be a $3 this time . This female had such a bad attitude with me and kept rolling her eyes . Ive also realized that they let their underage kids (15,16,17) sell alcohol & cigarettes to people .
