I love this place. I got recommended this place by our hotel receptionist when we flew in from England to memphis. The dry ribs are amazing. The pies and cakes are astounding. Jimbo is always happy to meet you and is very grateful for your custom, which I think personally is a great touch. The waitresses are so happy and friendly. Always willing to top you up and have a chat. If I am ever back in memphis or nearby, I'm 100% coming back to you. Thank you

Excellent BBQ that was worth the drive. Had the basic sandwich on this trip. Just the right amount of sauce but there was more on the table if needed. I had the potato salad and my partner got the fries. ( very thin fries, but not shoestring). Both were good. A small bbq sandwich filled me up as they pile it on real good. And in true southern style a lot of the meat fell off and hit the plate. Too full for desert but it all sounded good. I will be back to try the other offerings, probably on cruise in night. Enjoy.

Looking for a place to eat out of the city. We found this Barbecue on the Google maps in the area. We were so glad we decided to stop. We walked in and was greeted immediately. We were asked to pick a table. We sat down and handed a menu. Ordered right away and we were eating in 5 minutes. The food quality is very good. The Sliced brisket was very good and moist. Sided were very good also. If you are in the area. We highly recommend this bbq.

I truly don’t understand how this place has 4.8 stars on Google.Was looking for a BBQ restaurant outside of the hustle and bustle of Memphis and came across this place on Google Maps. Trusting the reviews I read quickly, headed that way.We got there (around 2 pm on a Monday) and were the only people besides on four-top who left before we got our food—just trying to point out that I don’t feel like this was a “cut them some slack, they were busy!” type of deal.Let them know we wanted to sit outside but would be dining in. Had we realized that we would be checked on 4x in the first five minutes of sitting down to hurry up and order off of a menu we’d never seen but then never be checked on again? We would have just ordered food “to-go” but sat outside to eat.I ordered a chopped pork baked potato. Now maybe it’s different here than anywhere else I’ve ever eaten a BBQ baked potato, but I generally expected something akin to a loaded baked potato with pork on it. Not a still-firm-in-some-places potato, meat slapped on it, smothered in queso and BBQ sauce. HUGE disappointment. I couldn’t even tell you if the meat was any good. I couldn’t taste it.My partner ordered the BBQ spaghetti because we’d never heard of such a thing and as such expected something novel and potentially strange. It was. The fried okra was alright, the macaroni and cheese lacked flavor.Our waitress didn’t come back for the duration of our meal and almost ten minutes past when we had finished eating. Yes, I always try and give the benefit of the doubt here—difficult customer on the phone, urgent bathroom trip, who knows, right? But it’s still worth mentioning because then we were hit with, “okay well then you can come inside and pay at the counter.” Again, not a HUGE deal, except I could have done that in the beginning, when I came inside, and wouldn’t then be expected to tip you as a waitress, for subpar service and underwhelming food.Skip this place. I wish we would have grabbed fast food and continued on our drive.

I got the sloppy plate! $14 for meat and 4 sides! The Bbq pork was so flavorful and not fatty. Amazing! You could tell some love goes into this food. Husband got the brisket also delicious and soooo tender.

Wonderful place to get some amazing BBQ!!! The dry ribs were falling off the bones, the pulled BBQ sandwich was so good also! Bring your appetite, because it was a lot of food! The banana split was amazing also!!!!

Update 2/22, been going almost every Sunday for the last 7 or 8 months, always great!Drove over from Hernando today based on a friend's recommendation and tried Jimbo's.... had a jumbo sandwich, fries, baked beans, & banana pudding. Everything was great and the staff was very friendly. Cant wait to go back.

This BBQ spot looks small but it is packing some major flavor. I had the Brickhouse platter and it was awesome. Bring your appetite cause it has a ton of food. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The pulled pork was so good but the spotlight was on the ribs and brisket. Hands down the best I have ever had. The owner and waitresses were so nice and helpful best service around. I will happily make the 6 hour drive to come back!
