A small country store with the same appeal even though it is part of a huge conglomerate. The staff was very helpful as well as being personable. I had fun interacting with the staff while I perused the aisles looking for anything of interest. I had only gone in because of a project I was working on but because the staff was friendly and helpful I left with more than I needed. I would highly recommend this particular Dollar General.

Update 07/13/21Shout out to Ashley the manager!She handled the power outage great during a thunderstorm last week.I don't live far from the store(Not even 5 mins) and she allowed me to leave my full cart next to the register and took my number and called me as soon as the power was back on and also remembered the last time I was in I was looking for a certain drink that was back in stock and let me know.Thanks again Ashley.I have always been treated well in this store,the employees have always been friendly and helpful .7 mos agoNot far from where I live,so my family is here several times a week.The employees are nice and helpful.Wish the store would bring back the thin steaks as we bought them often to cook for breakfast.

Shop often would be nice to have more than the one register open to service customers. Takes way too long to be checked out while employees stock shelves. Clean store.

The store is kept clean as well as a good out of the way location the cashiers will greet you when you enter the store. Across from the store is a gas station that sells some delicious fried chicken and frsh.

And yet again, the cashier, young small girl, was on her phone . Rude as usual. This is getting old. Since when is it ok to make personal phone calls while working? Ear buds in ears and all. Very impatient and unhelpful too. Every time.

Newly opened, and so far so good! So pleased with this store. Located off HWY 309 off HWY 78 @ the Byhalia exit. Location makes it convenient so that I dont have to make the already short drive into town. Friendly, helpful, polite staff and clean and organized store. They also have a nice little seasonal section as well. Restrooms were clean, santiary & stocked the one time I used them. They have more grocery type items than other Dollar General's. They carry milk, eggs, bread chips and and plethura of other perishable and non perishable items. They also sell gift cards too.

The cashiers are the worst !!!! Snobby attitudes as if they’re entitled to something. If you don’t want to work then don’t work don’t get the attitude with us because you’re doing YOUR JOB . Always on their phone . And just the rudest girls ever.

I've ask for Miller Highlife beer 12 pk bottles over and over. Nobody at the store will do anything. So l drive 4 miles to Fred's and do all my shopping.

Nasty store. Always out of everything it seems or not stocking shelves . Couldn't even give me a Receipt today said they didn't have a receipt machine. Which i know was a lie. Even the parking lot was trashy

This store needs help. Corporate needs to hire more people. The lines are long and stuff everywhere. Baskets are filthy. Please clean my store up.
