Wrote review a year ago. Here is an update:2022: Coolers have been broken AGAIN, this time for 4-6 months. Where is the General Manager for this area?2021:The employees work with what they have...With that being said, over half of the coolers (that were just installed last year) have gone out and are sitting full of ROTTING food that can be smelled when entering the store. This has gone in for 1 month.I have not been able to get them to answer the phone in over a year. It's either busy or rings until it cuts off... despite being in a managers hand or on their hip.Aisles are blocked 90% of the time with boxes.Cashiers and stock people are extremely sweet and helpful despite being yelled at constantly by the colorful members of the community.The turnover rate is high, which is expected.The ones there need extra workers and a raise, definitely.

It's gotten so much better since they expanded it so everything isn't always blocked off.. a shipment comes in. They're out there on the floor getting it done with 1 or 2 watching the register I'm sure. It's so much better than it was 8 months ago !! Great job on improving the store.

They need more staff to help stock! A lady in line asked the cashier if the store was closing (permanently)! Her response was, “we have inventory but it’s in the back waiting to be stocked.” They also have issues with their digital coupons not working!

This store is the filthiest dollar general I've ever seen and its brand new. Every time I go in I have to walk over , kick over, bulldoze over my way through the iles . The manager has the most smart ass additude I've ever seen. They get stole from on a daily basis and do nothing and say nothing. I've seen this with my own two eyes. I think they need to fire the whole crew and start over again..... Just saying!!!

Love the Benndale store. So clean! And all the workers are so nice! The manager is always there and making sure her store is ran right. Everything is always stocked.

Easy to find what you need. They even had S hooks in the garden section. Actually i used them to hang my cooking utensils.

Good prices and selection plus they are always around...even in the middle of nowhere lol. This particular location was well stocked, clean and mostly organized.

Since they've remodeled, the store is cleaner, well stocked etc. Love that they have more food/groceries etc because I don't like shopping at the 'Marts'

These stores have popped up like popcorn all over the place, but they are almost always understaffed, many price's no longer make you feel like you are shopping at a Dollar Store because they are more like convenience store prices, then the fact that they are almost always out of one or more items on my list when I go in there does not help my opinion of them.

Never kept up with. Very cluttered with carts full of boxes and the aisles are horribly zoned. Takes forever to checkout and the cashier are always in a bad mood. I only shop here if I NEED to.

Dont waste your time! Store is atrocious, stock carts everywhere, cannot walk thru isles, workers are rudest I've ever seen in my life!

Good customer service, but dont go in with the intention of purchasing anything specific. The shelves are always bare.

Convenient for highway 49 travelers and locals. Easy access parking. Typical low prices for a Dollar General store.

There is really no telling how much business this store would do if it would simply stock the shelves. They almost never have basic necessities available when I go. Very poor management.

You have to watch there prices, there was people buying things in boxes up front on sale. They thought they was getting more off the price. But the price was already cut. Some people said they didn't want it.

We just stopped to pick up some ice cream. Store was well stocked and clerk who checked us out was polite and friendly.

I paid $4.99 each for 3 chili cheese burgers and they had no chili at all. Only piles of mustard and onions.

This store in Maxie/Brooklyn is so clean and nice..employees are very nice also

This is the absolute worst dollar general to stop at. The cashier's aren't friendly, or helpful. We also waited in line over 20 minutes.
