I’m not sure why this vet hospital would be rated anything less than 5 stars. They are to the point. They don’t do extra unnecessary things to make more money. They are extremely knowledgeable and honest, and they do the very best for your animal. They are perfect. I would only trust them and I’ve been to several vets in this area. The male Doctor is amazing. I haven’t ever seen the female one, but I am super impressed.

Family Pet is reasonably priced and will work with you, as well as do what is best for your pet. We have had a couple emergency situations they handled for us, as well as annual checkups. Staff is lovely and the desk cats are the sweetest.

This place is just okay. Took my 11 year old great dane to her put to sleep here after her long journey through life. The experience wasn’t all bad. They were nice but not compassionate. Come and got her out the car and everything but tried to take her straight back and have it done without me saying bye. They don’t let you be with your animals as you put them to sleep so if you want to spend the last moment with your baby don’t go here. I had no choice in the time because it had to be done quick. Had I known before hand I would’ve never gone here. Do yourself a favor for you and your baby. Don’t have them euthanized here.

Took my baby Charlie and they saved his life by referring him to Ms State college for treatment! Other vet wanted put him down and the Doctor at Family Pet was very nice and kind to have compassion for him and helped us ! It saved his life and he is doing great ! Without them Charlie wouldn’t b with us!! So it’s a wonderful place to take your babies!!!! They do care for your Pets there!!

Family Pet Hospital needs to have their license revoked. We took our precious healthy fur baby there for boarding while we were on vacation. After I returned from vacation I picked up my precious fur baby from Family Pet Hospital. WITHIN one hour, my kitty was dead. This was absolutely heartbreaking. If you love your fur babies, please, do not take them to Family Pet Hospital.

We had to put our 13 year old golden retriever down due to health issues this happened while we were at our lake house. We called and they got us in immediately and took care of him with compassion and understanding he was our special boy. Then after a few weeks I received a package in the mail and it was a very sweet card signed by everyone in the office also a cast of his paw print with his name on it !! I’m blown away there still are great people out there !! I would recommend this clinic to anyone and will be my primary care in the future!!This was the first time we had ever visited this clinic

This clinic is Awesome! The vets & their staff are amazing. I wouldn't take my cats to anyone else! My Oscar (kitty) had his leg amputated yesterday. I wasn't sure how he would be. They reassured me he would be fine. He came home today & is doing quite well. They are very dedicated to their patients. A huge thank you to all of you that took care of Oscar! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all!

Very professional doctors and techs who took care of mhave available after hours doctry middle aged fur baby the way I do. They are warm and caring, explaining the procedure and aftercare in a manner that I could understand. They partner with the humane society to help with the expense of spaying and nurturing your pet as well! Their prices are reasonable and they have a doctor available for after hours emergencies at a sister office nearby . Their directory will instruct you on how to contact the doctor for these services. Walk-ins are welcomed but some procedures require an appointment. Grooming dand boarding is also available.

Good vets. Dr. Justin is caring and professional. Kari the receptionist is very nice and caring to customers. Pricey compared to other vets and usually do not let you stay with pet during examination.

Very unpleasant experience with staff, incapable of following up with complaint issue. Had my dog spaded- I did not return to them for stitch removal/followup care. I went to another vet, who provided top care for my pet and her aftercare, which was needed from the surgery performed. Truly a disappointment.

Took my Princess to them. She was very lethargic. They did bloodwork and said no infection. Gave her IV fluid, doggie Pepcid, doggie pedi slits and pain med. she was no better. Took her Saturday. Monday took her to Woodlawn. She has a uterine infection that could have possibly killed her. She is in surgery with no guarantees she will make it.

Put my baby on Proin and he had a stroke and died. They never once eluded to the fact this was toxic. I have now killed my best friend. You should be ashamed!

I love this place!! The staff and doctors are amazing. I have a brood of animals too, and i wouldnt take them anywhere else.
