Best barbecue we've ever had, and we travel around quite a bit to SEC football games and try BBQ throughout the south. This is by far #1!The staff and Pitmaster treated us like old friends. You won't find better service anywhere on the globe. The brisket sandwich and ribeye sandwich were A+++. Ditto bbq chicken. Sweet tea was perfect as well!Would and WILL go back.

It's Country and it's Good. The 1/2 Smoked Chicken was Fall Off The Bone Good!!! The smoke flavor was delicious. The Baked Beans were real good. The slaw was basic but at least it wasn't full of too much mayo. Thebuilding to the left is the dining area. The place doesn't look like much the food is delicious. If I'm in town again, I'll come back and try some brisket. 😋😋😋😋😋

This place is great. Stopped in on a motorcycle ride with my son. The brisket and pulled pork were some of the best I've had. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the portions were large, and the price was reasonable. It's a new destination for us when we are out biking. I want to try the steaks, but the brisket was so good I'm not sure I can pass it up next time I'm there. Bring cash as they don't take plastic, and do yourself a favor and skip breakfast before you go there so you can eat more of their amazing food!

The epitome of a “hole-in-the-wall” bbq joint! Sonny does more than just make some of the best brisket I’ve had, didn’t even need sauce and just melted in your mouth, but also engaged with my friends and I and told us some of the story behind the scenes. The air was filled with rich hickory smoke, the scent of well aged meats, and humility.We’ll return if we’re ever in the area, for sure!

We waited an hour for our food. The ribs had no taste and the ribeye was flavorless and tough as shoe leather. When I told the owner that very thing he said "Sometimes it's like that." For $100 for 3 people to eat it absolutely should not be like that. We won't return because this is the second time in a row a $38 steak got fed to the dog.

This is a real treasure in northeastern Mississippi. The pulled pork, brisket, and sides are all great, and it was enjoyed by all at a recent tailgate. Try it all; you won't be disappointed!

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm extremely picky when it comes to BBQ. I own and run a competition team out of Texas and all I can say is... BRAVO!! Best damn brisket I've tried in years! Staff is Outstanding and was able to meet Sonny at his pit. Whatever y'all are doing keep it up! I know I'd sure hate to cook against you in competition! Definitely coming back for more.

Delicious brisket. Very tender! My first time in Mississippi, and I needed good BBQ. This place did the trick. Oh and many people around us were eating the steak, and it looked delicious too!

this was the first time my husband and I stopped in and will definitely make the ride from Eupora again was worth it! we both got the BBQ baked potato the portions are huge. the best BBQ ever hands down.

So darn good! My husband and I split a sampler plate and a ribeye. Such an incredible meal. The meats are so tender and juicy that you don't even need barbeque sauce. Mr. Sonny and his wife are so sweet. It's worth the drive from anywhere in the area! Cash or check only so come prepared.

This place is nearly unbelievable! The smoke smelled great walking up to the place and the years of coming and smoke fire was visible on the rafters! I got a barbeque potato and took a ribeye sandwich home for the evening and both were delicious! Take the opportunity if you're in the area to try something here and you'll have a great experience!

All of Mr Sonny's food items are delicious! If you've never been there, you should go.Features: All of the staff were either inside or out back. Patrons were patient and distance was maintained. Some even wore masks.
