No. ... food is nowhere near what it was a few years back. Lunch buffet with bland casseroles, vegetables, and pork chops . Only seasoning is grease. :(Service was pleasant when we asked for something but we had to ASK where to sit, how did we get drinks.... Not crowded AT ALL, 5 other people there besides us.Not very clean either. Very disappointing

The food is amazing and the best hushpuppies and catfish I've ever had...And the sweet Tea was the best I've ever had. they leave a giant pitcher of it on your table. Cheap prices for a decent sized buffet. Down home country atmosphere where everybody knows your name. It was a treat to see that kind of hospitality for being a city gal. Unfortunately I have a shrimp allergy and the fish was fried in the same oil as the shrimp so I had an allergic reaction, But other than that I highly recommend.

Most the food was cold,not very friendly except for the old lady. They didn't have anything like they used too! Very disappointed,and they have went up to 16 dollars for a buffet. I won't be back.

I came here with a relative who was craving catfish and it was AMAZING. I am not even a big fan of country cooking that isn't my Mama's, but Pap's might have changed my opinion. I will say that there was a line to get catfish and it took a while for the cook to catch up with the demand. Everytime they put it out, it would disappear. But when you get it, is delicious! The fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, hush puppies and peach cobbler were also sooooo good!

All of the food dishes (that's served there) are her own recipes. Me & hubby decided to go somewhere different to eat. Pap's place was it. It was an old country feeling. We ordered. Everything was on point the food was good.The place was clean and not to crowded.If u want family time and good eating Pap's the place. I think we found our new food spot. The people are so friendly and I like the vibe inside. Try out PAP's Place u won't be disappointed at all.

Delicious food and friendly service. Good variety of items on the buffet. Definitely try the chicken and dumplings. Hard to choose which dessert to try - so we tried 4 of them and they were all amazing. The banana split pie and the coconut cake were the best though :) 10/10 recommend

This place is amazing. The food here is the best I have ever tasted. The prices are affordable and they have the best staff ever. This place is even good for adults that have children. This place is very kid friendly. Like they say were not here to rob you we just wanna fill your belly !!

$15 per person All you can eat on Saturday evening. $8 per person on weekdays. If you want some good vegetables, fried fish and chicken then this is the place. Best customer service ever. Highly recommend!

I loved it. First time visiting and definitely will be back. Everything was hot and seasoned well, plus there was a good variety of everything. If you don't get full here, then it's definitely your fault, lol. Extremely friendly, as well.

In the month of May we visited the town where my parents where from. To plan our 2019 family reunion. Someone in town told me about the Paps. I met a gentleman up the street from the place and he informed me that the place was closed at the time and opened at 4pm. We returned after 4pm. We were not disappointed. They had an awesome staff, friendly and courteous, great atmosphere and food was to die for. When ever I’m in the vicinity I will be there.

I love Paps' Place. I met him at Mary Lous Biscuits a few months ago. He is very important man and his restaurant has great food. We have celebrated many family holidays here and enjoyed quit a few meals together.

Tons of outdated knick knacks line the walls as you skinny through the tightly packed tables. Staff loads your plate with high quality foods that keep you coming back for more! Until you're stuffed. Then you still go back for more! Comfort foods galore. And maybe, the owner might put on his crawfish costume and sing!

Very disappointed!! Especially for the price I paid!! Called in a large order and when I went to pick it up I waited about 5mins for them to finish making it, drive half a mile back to my house, and the food was already cold, the fries were hard, the steak had a lot of seasoning which made it taste horrible, and chicken strips were overcooked!! This was my first and last time ever eating here..
