It’s meaningful to support locally sourced products, like The Greensted.They are the tastiest and freshest microgreens that I’ve found locally and love the variety of flavors.! I met Dean while he was at the Burnsville Lunds & Byerly’s doing an excellent job of educating customers about his products! It was a pleasure to talk in person.I’ve been buying the microgreens one package at a time to ensure freshness. Such tender little tasty things so packed with nutritional goodness! I can eat and enjoy them fresh as a standalone. But other ways I use them are on top of eggs, salads, baked potatoes and as a burst of green color and flavor to top off nearly any casserole. As well, I like to add them as my last ingredient in stir-fry’s and to fill out a pancetta/cheese board.My favorite microgreen blends so far are Classy Classic, Zesty Mix, and Just Broccoli. I have yet to try the Sweet Pea Shoots. I can tell that they come from carefully prepared gardeners, harvesters, and packers. Remarkable, there has never been any dirt in the packaging.I am proud to say that I grew up on a fabulous family-run farm in northern Minnesota and know the labor of love that goes into putting these on the grocery shelf for me.Thankfully, they are also easy to find at the Just Food Co-op in Northfield, MN, so whether I’m traveling north or south, I can pick up another package. I searched online and found that they are located at 45820 190th Ave Unit A, Zumbrota, MN. I hope to visit in person one day.

We had a fun time today at The Greensted on 9th open house!! Sampled all kinds of dips, chips & hot salsa, sugar free candy, chocolates, tasty wine slush from Oak ValleyCreations! Purchased some T-bone steaks, micro greens, wax melts, Good Fellows Choco Almond granola and more! Make sure to stop in Monday-Saturday next week! You are missing out if you haven’t been there yet!🤩🎉

The Greensted is a wonderful farm for healthy and delicious microgreens and salad products. Once I was educated on the benefits of microgreens, I started buying them from The Greensted and was soon addicted to adding them to my salads. The local products they sell are carefully selected by Jayne and team, and since I trust Jayne, I trust her choices and buy them as well. Farmers Markets are usually a one day per week event or less. The Greensted offers a Farmers Market experience in an accessible retail store setting. I can drive up and grab my favorite local artisan goods and foods at a much greater convenience than waiting for that one day to hit the outdoor market. I’ve also learned so much about Microgreens! You will be delighted by what you find at the Greensted.

We love the variety and quality of microgreens, wacky salad, and other produce that we get each week from our CSA at Greensted. We also enjoy the salad dressings, cheese, coffee, JAJJA juice, and meat they have available…all of it from area farms and businesses. Support local! We highly recommend!

I buy this on a weekly basis! We use these greens instead of lettuce on tacos ect. Goes great on a morning egg bake. But the best is on avacado toast! You can find them at hyvee or kowalksis.
