Small town cafe serving the locals since 1984 a complete menu of breakfast, lunch and made from scratch pies and homemade soups. Typical interior of wood booths with flat cushions, padded chairs and tables and low breakfast counter. Our Coffee Mill Club Wrap came as a garden veggie tortilla cut in three with thin slices of ham and turkey with bacon crumbles, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. A small handful of chips and a pickle spear come with it. Service was friendly and efficient.Parking: Small town offering typical street parking

We were in town for a concert at the Carnagie. Went for the fish fry. A small town diner at its best. Our server was friendly, fast and very funny. Food was spot on. Comfort food rules the day here. And don't forget the pie. Booths, tables and a counter with stools near the kitchen. Priced right with a real sense of community flowing within. Nice to see all the seniors. Check it out when in Zumbrota, a very quaint small town.

Everything you want in a small town diner! Fresh, consistent food with an inviting atmosphere. Friday fish fry of cod or walleye with salad bar. Staff is careful about Covid precautions, giving gloves for salad bar. Good prices and good amount of food.

Used to love this place so much. Last three times I have ordered takeout I have either gotten the wrong thing. OR gotten with bread (,which needs removed because of gluten allergy) and asked for NO BREAD. Because I don't want it at all! I asked numerous times for them to check and each time get home and bread is on bottom and top. Seems like no one cares anymore. Sad, because this was such a good little place before.

I had the taco salad lunch special. I like the shell it comes in, and they adjusted the ingredients as per my request. The salsa was good. I got the rhubarb torte to go for dessert. It was pretty good. I wish they were open more nights for dinner to give more options in Zumbrota. We really like their all you can eat Friday night fish fry!Parking: Main street in Zumbrota is quite a challenge for all businesses in terms of parking, especially if you are in a wheelchair.

This is a great little cafe! I had breakfast. Reasonable prices, great coffee, excellent service...and open early enough to fit my schedule. I will visit again and definitely recommend to others!

Always great home town food. Atmosphere is second to none, fish fry Friday is always busy and fabulous plus they have a salad bar. It's like one big happy family!!Kid-friendliness: They all love it, especially the chicken strips&mini corn dogs

This is a nice Cozy Cafe with a great salad bar ample seating for large crowds Plus a large counter space if you feel you would rather be alone. This is also a local Oddity called Obama's pie shop where as a candidate President Obama's stop by and bought a whole pie. I had a large slice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream and my friend had peach pie with ice cream. Very popular with the local crowd.

This has been my favorite for some time. I wish they took people with disabilities in consideration when cutting out takeout on Saturday. With the limited hours, my work schedule, and how loud the restaurant is on Saturdays, I can't eat here anymore. It's really hurtful to be excluded. I tried explaining that to the owner and he didn't care.

This place was pretty decent. My 8-year-old got the biscuits and gravy off the adult menu and the biscuits we really tiny and he ended up eating half of my husband's omelet, which is why I took away one star. Otherwise, the food and service were fine.

Excellent! This is down home cooking and customer service at its finest. Great food, cozy atmosphere and delicious treats. Only complaint, they're not open in the evenings.EDIT: SO, I hear today on good authority, that a friend got blown off by the owner! He refused to make adjustments to a meal. Came out and told them that he is struggling to keep the place open and doesn't need to do anything. Now. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you're struggling to keep your business open, maybe you should try customer service? Cause you didn't just lose them, you now lost me and my family and my friends. For shame sir..... smh

Want a small town Cafe that could go right in a storybook? You've got it here. Great food, amazing people, great stories, you name it. They don't pretend to be anything they aren't and it makes it a tremendous place to visit. It's honest, it's hearty, it's good, like a hug from grandma after a long day. Love this place.

Was disappointed. Waited quite awhile for our order of half hot roast beef sandwich and mashed potatoes and gravy. One of the daily specials was the hot roast beef sandwich so I thought it would be readily available. However all the tables that were seated after us received their order before us. It was tasty but the potatoes were not mashed, but a scoop of boiled potatoes.

Very comfortable atmosphere. It is a great place to meet someone for a while. This is a very friendly establishment. I stop in occasionally to have coffee and a bite of pie. The pies are well prepared and come as a sufficient size. The staff is friendly and generally characterized by bring prompt and quick to service.

Nice, friendly staff, delicious food. Dad and I had the special, beer battered fish and mashed potatoes and vegetables. Mom had a hamburger and vegetables. We loved it!! We've eaten there a lot over the years.
