What a difference new management makes. This store is totally turned around. No more getting around boxes in the aisles, no more messy shelves and no long waits in line. Very courteous and friendly staff and well organized shelving and displays. Thank you Dollar General in sending in a manager that sets an example of good leadership.

I dont usually leave bad reviews, but they basically just put a sign on the door saying "closed" whenever they feel like it. 5pm on a Friday and the doors are locked. They'll leave it up even when the store is open, so you always have to check if the doors will let you in. It's confusing. Staff is there, so im not sure why they randomly close. Store is a mess with stock carts and boxes everywhere.

Patiently waited almost 5 mins at the checkout for the employees to finish telling stories to eachother in the front office before they realized there was a little line. Came out and proceeded to ask the guy behind us if he was ready, and the clown actually went around us to check out. Nice homemade tats you toolbag!

Prices are low, and the staff are always friendly & polite. Sometimes you have to wait a little bit to check out while staff are stocking shelves. But they do a good job of trying to pay attention to when customers are ready to pay.

Local dollar store with some great prices and selection of items. Great place to get greeting cards; no need to spend $5 or more on a card when $1 will suffice! Lots of quality kids toys; LEGOs too! Will definitely come back for more household items that I normally get at the grocery store. Same brands, cheaper prices! Store is very new and clean and staff is cheery and helpful.

I can always find something I need at Dollar General. I like this store more than going to any dollar store.The prices are great. This store recently opened so some of the shelves were bare but I found some great things to take on a plane to keep my kids busy. The store was clean and the staff was very helpful.

1st time going here, needed something in a pinch and found this place to be wonderful! Staff was great, friendly and energetic. Had a lot of different options, some prices over a dollar but nothing too crazy. Manager was great, was very involved and actively was working with the staff and keep things in check. Appreciated how clean and neat everything was as well.

This is for the Dollar General in Zimmerman, MN. I have to say that the staff here are awesome and always friendly. You are always greeted with a friendly Hi or Hello. I don't know if they have new management or what, but the last few months it looks like they might be having a staffing shortage or something? This comment has nothing to do with the staff, but you might want to consider hiring a few new employees to help the current staff. They work hard and they are great employees, but its not fair that they have to work that hard or alone sometimes. I have noticed that everytime I go there, there are huge stocking carts that are full of merchandise to be stocked in the shelves parked in the aisles. If you use a smaller yellow cart to put your items in, you can barely squeeze through the aisle and if you need something behind one of the huge stocking carts, you have to move it yourself, so you can get the item you need or want. I'm a guy, so I don't have a problem moving it, but there are alot of people who shop here that cannot move those huge carts. It's not right for the customers to have to move one of them in order to get an item they need, to get through an aisle or if they meet another customer they need to pass. One of us usually has to back up and let the other through. They are not light, but heavy carts. Someone is going to get hurt and you don't want or need that to happen. There is also a concern about the shelves that are usually messy. As well as many items that have fallen on the floor like, shoes, toys, clothing, etc. Someone is going to slip, trip or fall and get hurt. Another thing I have noticed is that during this Covid-19 Epidemic, that some of the people come into the store w/o a mask on when it clearly says on the door that is 'mandated to where a mask' if you come in. But they don't say anything and let them in the store. It is a big health concern, because of severity of Covid-19. There are alot of older people, people, like me who are at high risk and others who wouldn't do so well if they got Covid-19. I will continue to shop here, because it's close to my home and it is very convenient. Why don't you hire a few more people to work part-time on the days the supply trucks come, or maybe have them work after the store closes or before the store opens to come in and put away the items in those huge carts that are in the aisles. They can straighten the shelves and pick up the items that are on the floors. Your dedicated customers would love it and so would your employees. But you are going to start losing your customers if you keep your store the way it is. I've heard it from quite a few people that they might start to go somewhere else. It'd be a shame to have to lose a great and loved store like yours. So please, think about these issues and address them. I will continue to shop at your store, but some may not. Thank you time and consideration....a forever, but concerned and worried customer

Just walked out of the store since I stood at the register for 5 minutes literally 5 minutes after going in there for an energy drink. I should have just stopped at the gas station and paid the little bit extra for actual customer service. Worst part is you can see the older woman in the office sitting on her phone oblivious that I'm staring at her waiting to be a rang up. Absolutely refuse to go here anymore gas stations in Jim's Market will have to do for all my other needs the little drive to Princeton or Elk River is better than standing there for 5 minutes waiting for any form of service.

I never write reviews but they are never open when they’re supposed to be and no sign saying otherwise. Also constantly messy and close early. Horrible location. Very inconvenient

The store has a written sign up at 3:20 saying it’s closed and letting people out as they say there open. At least figure out your hours and make them shorter.

It's a nice new county corner store meets the a-typical Dollar General. I'm not a real fan of Dollar Generals (in general) but this one is VERY conveniently located. I almost feel bad for Jim's Market (but I really don't).

No one at check out (ever), you have to look around to get helped. GM acted like I was bothering her when I had to yell excuse me down the isle and ask for someone to check me out. She says, yeah that’s me and then comes up front, no sorry or thanks for your patience. They have to lose a ton with people walking out because the staff is clueless. They carry some different things the Jim’s in town otherwise I would never go there.

Have been there a couple of times since they opened I will give them 5 stars due to the fact that they have everything I've needed so far the only drawback is the staff is very new and maybe not very experienced in retail but they will learn I hope

The store was very dirty and product was all over the floor"clothing" at 10:30 a.m 3/7/2021 was in there on Monday night 3/1/2021 around 8 p.m and the staff was playing foot ball in the iles and could of been stocking the shelves....... Was not impressed if I could star a 0 I would

Dollar General would be phenomenal if it were actually a dollar store. But regardless it's a really fun store, unfortunately I don't have the amnt of cash needed to Really enjoy myself

Just went there I asked the cashier not to call me sir because it makes me feel old and then she went on around of calling me sir every other word the moral of the story is is they're very disrespectful they don't care about your feelings they just want you in and out of their store the store looks like s*** I'm calling corporate
