Can't recommend All Pets enough. For the last decade we've brought our pets to see Dr. Joel and he has treated us with great care. Aria, Copper, and Raleigh all go together, and the staff there is so patient with them, despite the fact they get each other all wound up. The cost for office visits is very reasonable, and they never "upsell" unnecessary shots or procedures. We LOVE All Pets!

They were able to get my dog in right away for an injured paw when his usual vet was booked out for weeks. I was nervous because it was a vet that we had never met or had never met our hyper dog. They gave me time to explain not only what was bothering my dog at the moment but they gave me time to tell them about my dogs personality. He's normally very hyper and hates his paws being touched, even in his sleep. They showed compassion for my dog and most of all, understood him. I will definitely be going back for any future items that my fur friend will need. He did have a broken toe which must be very painful, they were wonderful with him. Highly recommend this caring place!

They took great care for our family despite our tough situation... Our cat Xena couldn't overcome her illness and they went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of after she past away... We felt like they actually cared about our feelings which meant a lot to us. Thank you all pets.

We’ve been with All Pets for almost 20 years and it has been hard to see the decline. It takes about a month to get an appointment regardless of how urgent the concern is. No other vets in this area have the wait time. The techs are very rude and the vet is consistently 40+ minutes behind schedule. The tipping point was when we had to bring our 13 year old dog to be euthanized. While we were waiting for the procedure the vet had us wait while he stood outside the room telling jokes about cows to his staff. It was very rude and unprofessional. We’re done.

I've never been to this veterinarian but I felt the need to comment given a few of the reviews that are pretty negative.When an animal has histopathology performed the results normally take 10-14 days and in some cases 21 days.Most general practice vet clinics are NOT EMERGENCY or URGENT CARE equipped. While some can perform basic urgent issues, most cannot. Staffing, training, equipment are not adequate at a general practice. Your normal doctor that you see annually doesn't take emergency visits or urgent care visits, why do people constantly expect that of their vet clinics?When the pandemic hit, people got bored and bought lots of dogs and cats. This influx of pandemic animals has caused a severe deficiency in the ability to get everyone scheduled in a previously timely manner. Truth be told, there just aren't enough staff at clinics. This is due to low pay, over worked, underappreciated employees.This brings me to my next point. There is not a single vet clinic or hospital in it for the money. They don't make any money. The average technician makes roughly $17/hr in a general practice - and that's being optimistic. DVMs maybe average 90k annually. Factor in schooling costs for a vet - roughly $200k and for tech schooling - roughly $30k... Believe me when I say they most definitely aren't in it for the money. They don't make money from recommending food or prescription medications. There is little to no profit in animal medicine.I've been a vet tech for 8 years - graduated 70k in debt and my first tech job started at $15/hr. The final tech job I was at ended at $22. I left the field because of lack of pay and the complete lack of humanity most clients put on the vet staff. We understand that your animal means the world to you, we do. We do not try and blow you off or disregard the urgency you feel is necessary for your animal. Be kind to your vet staff - they are doing everything they possibly can to see the animals that need to be seen. Your wellness exam can wait. Schedule knowing it may be months until you can get in. If your cat is not urinating - that's an emergency. Your dog vomited once? Monitor. Your animal isn't able to keep anything down, water included? Emergency. Liquid diarrhea started? Schedule an appointment for 3-4 days past the onset of symptoms and be prepared to go to ER if it worsens (bloody, anorexia, lethargy, listlessness).Be kind to the staff and recognize that they are doing everything in their power to do what they can for everyone. There aren't enough hours in the day. The suicide rate in the veterinary community is ridiculously high. Please remember this the next time you're screaming at the receptionist because they can't get you in for a nail trim.

Not compassionate staff! My dog (who is a registered patient) needed vet help for an injury. I called Thursday morning I was told to send a picture of wounds. No response until I called Friday afternoon when a rude receptionist told me I’d need to seek medical attention somewhere else and that there were no appointments for over a week. Then she blamed the person I talked to the day before. That would have been good info to have on Thursday morning rather than Friday at 2 pm. Now scrambling for vetting for my dog.

Dr. Joel is just the best. Never hurries you. Kind and caring. The Marcus Welby of the vet world. I just lost my service dog and Dr. Joel did all he could to help and was there sitting on the floor with me in the end. He takes care of my other dogs as well. I am so grateful for him.

Service is great. You will like any vet usually end up waiting a while but thats because dr joel spends the time necessary with every patient to throughly explain everything. I have never been rushed and service has been good. My dog needed a surgery and i was quoted between $1100 and $1600 depending on how in depth the surgery was. When i went to pick up my dog they explained the surgery had gone very well and less work was needed then expected and i was only charged $656. This just shows you that they are good and honest people they could have easily charged my the $1100-1600 quoted and i never would have known. This example show me that they can be trusted.

They were friendly and personable. This was my first time at this vet. The vet tech met me in the parking lot and made my dog feel comfortable before bringing her in for her appointment. After the appointment the vet came out and thoroughly explained a few things to me. I will be back and will bring my other two dogs there as well.

I cannot say enough great things about this clinic and the staff that works there. I had moved in the past few years and have struggled to find a clinic near me, but unfortunately this clinic is the only clinic I will ever take my current and future pets to.They are consistently treating me and all my pets like their own family. They truly care about getting you the correct information and make sure that all our concerns are resolved.Hands down the best Vet clinic I have been to, that I am willing to drive an hour to come here over any other place that is closer to me.

We've been having Joel come out for a few years now to do annual work on our animals including horses. He's very knowledgeable, patient and really good with even the most timid creatures. We definitely appreciate everything he does for us.

Words can not describe how thankful we are for this wonderful vet clinic. Ours dogs have been going there since they were puppies. We can't thank them enough for all they did for us during this extremely difficult time. To be able to say goodbye to both our elderly dogs, in our home was so important to us. If you're looking for a vet, look no further. Thease people are wonderful!!!

UPDATED AUGUST 2021:Both my boyfriend and myself have called 4 times this week with no answer what so ever and no one returning voicemail. We have 4 cats between the two of us that need urgent treatment, and this place clearly has no urgent care or attention for their patients. I called asking for prescription flea medications for cats, as I know you can acquire ones that last up to 30 days, and my boyfriend needs to get his cat neutered and both cats treated for hook worm. The absolute lack of urgency at this place is horrifying. I would not be surprised if pets have died due to the lack of attention.2020: Received no indication that I would be not able to enter then clinic when I arrived, arrived and found a note on the door indicating to call, called and was immediately forwarded to voice mail while THREE staff stood at the desk in plain sight of me while a stood there at the door, when someone finally came to the door she took my cat and then did say what I was supposed to do and shut the door.Seriously terrible service.

We have always had a good experience at All Pets. I appreciate the honest answers/feedback and the simplicity of our visits. They don't try to up sell us on products/services and if they do suggest something they respect our choice to do or not do something. The prices are very affordable.You can even call ahead to get an estimate of how much your visit might cost.

I was referred to this clinic,had my first visit with our sick kitty. The vet we had was not warm,nor compassionate. We felt like we were keeping her by asking questions. We ended up getting a antibiotic 4 days late. The antibiotic was $62.oo. I spoke with a friend who has a wonderful vet near Ham Lake, recently bought same med for $18.00. (She had just purchased it for her cats due to they have same URI).I obtained some good advice, and things I can do to try to get this kitty to survive. I felt the vet we worked with really didnt care,and pretty much wrote her off. I will not return to this clinic. I have decided to use another vet, and will notify the person that referred me of my experience. Also will not refer friends/coworkers to this clinic. Very Disappointed. If my kitty gets better,it will not be because of this vet. We have been pet owners of dogs and cats for many years, we know what compassion looks and feels like.

I called this "hospital " about 3:30pm Friday 7/30/2021. My dog had labored breathing and very lethargic. This facility refused to see him. They said they are only taking emergencies. I told them if he wasnt seen tonight he would most likely die. They still refused. I called about 10 facilities who all refused him. After a few hours of calling around I finally found a place in St Cloud that would see him. He died on the way. It is the fault of every "emergency " pet facility that refused him. If your pet is in need of medical attention I recommend that you just show up at your nearest facility. This dog is extremely missed!

They cared for our male cat, Bubba when he passed away. Now they have helped us treat his female cat Oreo. She has arthritis and is in the beginning stages of kidney disease. We have her on joint supplements, cat CBD, and prescription kidney foods. She's doing great! 👍
