We stayed here thinking it would be nice. But our room was dirty, stains on the floor. It was cold. We had no choice having a dog with us. Even our dog got sick and congested from the dust and whatever was on the floors. It was one of the worst stays of our trip across country. And sadly, one of the most expensive. Would only stay here again if we are desperate. Don't, unless you have no choice.

After driving 20+ hours I stopped here to get a decent sleep so I could finish my trip. I wasn't expecting much from the room as it is a super 8 however, I was at least expecting the room to be clean. I came in and there was so much dirt and grime on the floor that it was sticky, there was a GOOD amount of dust covering everything in the room. The chair was filthy, I wouldn't even sit on it and all the. Edding was COVERED in hair. The TV remote was on the floor in the corner of the room. When i called the front he offered new pillow cases. Upon telling him how dirty the room was he offered absolutely no solutions. He was just like well this is what it is. I told him i was going to try and find somewhere else to say and he made me leave that minute or he would charge me. If the rooms are going to be that gross at least have better customer service! If you are traveling, there is a comfort suit about 2 minutes away. I highly recommend going there and stay FAR away from this place!

Was a little nervous at first, but enjoy staying here. Have been coming here now going on 4 months for work. The owner and his family are very nice and willing to get what we need 24/7. I’ve read many bad reviews here, and if you saw the work this family does for people here, you would not be judgmental. My room, towels and bedding are always clean! The location is great! If you don’t like the breakfast, there are restaurants around. I’ve seen really bad continental breakfast and this is good.

I'm sorry, and I hate to give poor reviews, but all I can say was it was a roof over our heads for a night. For that, I am thankful. However, I felt like I needed to keep my shoes on the entire time we were there. The hotel is old, worn-down, in need of repair/remodel, and a good cleaning. The owners are going to need to put some serious work into the place if they want returning customers.

Older hotel but clean and conveniently located off the interstate. The hotel is kinda out in the open and away from town. We were pulling a UTV on an open trailer and we were a little nervous about the parking, we just parked it strategically between other people's vehicles, and had no issues. Very friendly staff. I was very pleased with how clean the room was, I was a little skeptical while in the hallway but in the room I was happy with how clean it was. I always pay attention to the corners in the bathroom, there was no dirt or hair built up in the corners like some hotels get. The bed was comfortable (firmer mattress). There are no restaurants within walking distance but plenty of choices just over a mile away. I highly recommend The Mav Grill.

The bathroom faucet to take a shower, was completely broken off the hallway. Walking up to the rooms was nasty dirty hadn’t been vacuumed at all dirty towel sitting on the desk in the room when we got there and we checked in very late at night in the morning when I asked the attendant for a refund or a voucher I was told he could open up another room for me to take a shower, but that was all he offered. Was that and clean towels totally unacceptable especially for the price of the room.

Okay, so first of all I want y'all to know that I don't work for super 8 and they aren't paying me to write this.I stayed here with a group traveling for work. We stayed for 2 nights and had 4 rooms. When we saw the bad reviews we were nervous and almost canceled the reservation. But we gave it a try and were pleasantly surprised. Facilities and rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Is it a big metropolitan luxury hotel? No. But as far as a small town motel goes, this one was just fine. No complaints from me or anyone in my group. Would stay here again in the future.

This location was good enough for a one night stay. The beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly albeit a bit slow, and the AC worked just fine. The hallways smelled a lot like cigarette smoke but the rooms smelled like a more upscale hotel, surprisingly. The breakfast is as barebones but there’s a waffle maker. If you’re staying for one night, it’s acceptable, but more than a few night and you probably won’t be happy.

Stayed 15 days and did not have any issues. One of the cheaper rates in the area, which was nice.Had a nice desk/office chair area for my work and there was also a cloth rocking recliner with foot rest in the corner of my room(it was very comfortable, even feel asleep in it a few times).Bed was comfortable, room was clean, no issues with hot water, and heater always worked(it's really cold right now). Will stay again on future visits for work when in the area. Thanks for the great stay.

Not a budget hotel, its worse than a dump. All their responses are automated and there is only 2 employees at all time, run by 2 Indian seniors with horrible crooked attitude and DIRTY work ethics. Do not want to even give them one star. So surprised this place is NOT shut down already. Smells worse than back alley trash dump. Rooms are dirty, old, and the structure outside looks like it will break apart at any moment. Place NEEDS hard renovations. There was poop and other stains everywhere. the bathroom had black mold. The blanket had holes from wear and or ciggs. I can not believe they pass any inspections.

We reserved a room a room at this hotel because it was close to the freeway, and we'd had a great stay at another Super 8 in Garnier, Montana during our cross country trip. We were a little concerned when we arrived at this hotel because there was a large crater in the driveway upon entry and the building appeared run down. The lobby was humid and smelled of garlic and perspiration. We were given a key and walked upstairs to check out our room. First, the room had a terrible odor, and the red carpet was badly worn and stained. My husband immediately decided, "we can't stay here." But, we were very tired and I thought, if the bed is clean, we can stand it. So I checked the bed. The bedspread had a big spot on it. I pulled back the cover to find perspiration stains and dark hairs on the pillow. The bed sheets had obviously not been cleaned. We did not take off our jackets or put our suitcases down in the room. We walked back into the hall where the woman who had checked us in said, "What's wrong?!" We informed her of the issues, that we could not stay in the hotel and requested a refund. She replied "I have a new housekeeper and have trouble with her." She wanted to give us another room, but we just wanted to leave. Reluctantly, the woman issued us a receipt, reflecting our refund, and we left to find another hotel in Worthington. When we arrived home in Virginia, my husband found that the Super 8 in Worthington did not, in fact, refund our money. The next morning, the hotel entered a charge for the room we did not stay in, plus an additional charge for a second room on the same date! We have made multiple phone calls to resolve this to no avail. Including to our credit card company and the police. I am not hopeful that we will be be able to resolve the fraudulent charges for two nights stay at the Super 8 we never stayed in. If I could give this hotel a zero rating I would. Forget about the lack of customer service, hospitality or cleanliness. This is criminal and reflects very poorly on the community.

I booked this hotel through a travel site that priced my stay at $60 plus tax/fees. It was advertised as pet-friendly and no charge for my pet. Nothing stated there would be a $10 charge when I arrived. As I drove up to the hotel, I was not pleased. Debris was all over and NOT because of the wind. It was just plain dirty. That should have been my first clue. I looked around and window treatments on several windows wore torn. That should have been my second clue. When we walked into the hotel, the musty, dank smell should have been my third and final clue and I should have walked away. But when the lady on the other side of the counter started out by charging me $10 for my dog and arguing with me about the charges the website I made my reservations on, I asked her to cancel my reservation. She was rude, would not allow me to show her my website reservation and was just totally unprofessional. If you don't care about any other the things I mentioned here, take your chances and stay here for $60-$70. Or pass them up and go to the AmericInn across the street for $120. The Super 8 is over 40 years old (from what I was told) and smelled and looked as such. I'm glad I didn't go into the room.

I’ve been staying here for close to a month for work. I moved over here after being at another motel for 6 weeks with a terrible experience. My room was nice and clean at check in and they are wonderful at taking care of it anytime I ask. The owners are a very sweet couple! Would definitely stay here anytime I’m in the area.

By far the absolute worst hotel experience we have ever had. We booked a room with these people after a 12 hour drive, from Priceline for $69.99. As I was standing in the lobby, a fellow customer stopped in to book the same room. Hotel manager charged her $89.99. The hotel manager is dishonest, incredibly rude, and proceeded to tell the both of us to leave when we questioned the room pricing. This other customer asked to view a room due to bad reviews before paying. The manager screamed at her in the hotel lobby & told her she not doing business with her. This hotel is also completely disgusting. Dirty floors and stains on the comforter. Alarms going off at 3:30 am and paper thin walls. Do not waste your time booking this place. You’re also allowed to have dogs, do your dog a favor and do not book this hotel. If I could give 0 stars, I would do so immediately.

As with any older Super 8, this place smells of guests past but not overwhelmingly so... We're talking the faint smell of smoke and just an overall dingy smell. The person at the front desk was kind and helpful. I walked in late at night. The price online was cheaper than what they offered because the smaller beds were sold out. The price was not nearing $100 like most super 8s offer to people without a reservation, it was affordable. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The shower was a great temperature and decent water pressure. The room was partly updated and mostly clean.

We stayed here for about 5 days, room is clean, there is microwave, mini fridge and tv in the room, but our body itches a lot throughout the day not sure if it’s water or the bed. Also kind of overpriced, but room is clean.

My stay was AWESOME ! I felt like I was at home. The housekeeper was amazing. She made sure she spoke to me every time she saw me. She cleaned my room daily unless I did not want housekeeping. She made sure my room was stocked with everything I needed. She made sure to have everything I asked for if she didn't have it right then. The lady at the front desk kept a smile on her face. I was on the road with my mate at the time so I was there for weeks. I had gotten sick and she checked on me everyday. Even though I overslept everyday, the breakfast was always good and healthy. It was an awesome choice for us and I'm glad we stayed.

Worst Super 8 we’ve ever been in. The blow dryer didn’t work. The entire hotel smelled like smoke, we requested a smoke free room but didn’t get one. The shower did not work correctly, and the head was way to low. I’m 5’9” and the shower head only came to my neck. The staff was never available in the morning, apparently you’re supposed to call them on your phone to come to the desk, never heard of that before. Security cameras everywhere, must be the only thing they invest in because the rooms looked straight outta 1970. Oh and our sink leaked so we couldn’t use our garbage can because that had to be used to collect the drain water from under our sink. We were gonna tell the staff that it was like that, but there was no one at the desk when we left, and we weren’t waiting one more second in that dump. This place may be cheaper than all the other area hotels, but unless you can survive staying in H*ll for a night, pay more and go somewhere else.

After a long drive we pre-booked our stay thru Hotel Tonight, so there was no refund. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude with a bad attitude. She told us we booked a smoking room which was not the truth and was inconvenienced when we asked for a non-smoking room. After seeing the condition of the filthy hallways, carpets, our room, bathroom, and entryway doors we walked out and booked a room in another hotel nearby. I took photos of the entire place to ducument this horrible unstayable hotel. Unless you like to stay in complete filth this is not the place for you. I would give this hotel a 0 star if I could

My room was in the back & on the third floor. It was quite. The lady that checked me in was friendly.BUT I was there for two nights - went out on Saturday to enjoy my day expecting to come back to a clean room. NOTHING!!! I'm far from high maintenance but some clean towels, empty trash and a quick vacuum isn't a lot to ask from. PAYING guest. Also I question the safety of this place ... I was out running errands on my first day & lost my key card. When I asked the man at the front desk for a new one he just asked what room # - didn't even ask for an ID. Needless to say I made sure all locks where engaged and a chair was under the door handle both nights.

All the reviews are spot on to this place. Got stuck in Worthington due to white out conditions and wish I would have spent $20-$30 more to stay elsewhere in a much nicer place. Whole place felt dirty, from the front desks to the room. Holes in all the bedding, you could tell the floors had not been vacuumed in the room in a very long time, bathroom and towels felt dirty as well. The bed was about as uncomfortable as you’d expect. Smoking rooms were on the same floor as non smoking rooms which doesn’t make any sense. Also they were on the middle floor so the smell seeps into all the other parts of the hotel. My buddy got chips out of the vending machine that were from 2015. Only positive was that they had basic cable and HBO. That’s saying something. Nothing about this place was comfortable or enjoyable in the least. Super 8’s are supposed to be for cost and not comfort, but this place takes it to a whole new level. Avoid this place as all costs, spend a little extra and stay somewhere that is actually clean.

I had driven 10 hours to a wedding in this town . I reserved a room with two Queen beds in this motel . The rooms smell bad , the queen beds are not queen, they’re full beds . The customer services is ugly. There’s a women and man se front desk and they’re so rude . Never met anyone as rude as them . My friend stayed at the Days inn motel and said customer service was much better than what I had received from the people at super 8. It ruined my whole night . I would rather sleep in my car than stay there again !!! I had read previous reviews stating they were rude but had to give the benefit of the doubt, but it’s true worst service ever ! No water , bending machines are just there for nothing !

Got here and the first thing we smelt was bad cigarette smoke all throughout the hotel. Walked into our room and there were stains all over the carpet and walls, and when we turned our a/c on a deathly smell came out and lingered in our room the rest of the night. Went down for breakfast in the morning and there were 2 pieces of bread, some small old fruit cups, and 2 kinds of boring cereal. No hot food nothing. Go to check out and stand there for 10 minutes ringing the attendant as he just sits in the lower level by his tv. Definitely not worth the money, if I could go back I would’ve spent the extra $40 and stayed at a different hotel with a pool and hot breakfast.

Booked a room after a day of driving. Room was $60 so I was. It expecting much but even my low expectations were not met. The guy who booked me in was rude, didn't say much and when he did I couldn't understand him. He didn't explain much. There was maybe 4 other cars in the parking lot and we still were put in the 3rd floor without an elevator. The halls on the way to the room were disgusting. Dirty floors and smelt weird, and the smell of weed in the hallway wasn't even the worse smell. The room was dirty, dated, and a dump. I honestly don't believe that wash their sheets but rather just make the bed and call it good.I was told there was a breakfast in the morning. Only thing I could find was some cereal. I guess technically a breakfast I wouldn't eat it after seeing the rest of the hotel.I unfortunately booked this using an app and could not get a refund or I would have cancelled and must slept in the car.

Giving this place a one is more than they deserve. Our room had grout missing in the tiles on the bathroom floor which was making the tiles lift while walking on them. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work nor did the outlets on the lamp so we had to unplug things or go stand by the window (only available outlet that worked) to do our hair. The wall next to the bed had dirty smears on it that I don’t even want to know what they were. The booklet in the room that includes the tv channels and etc had mold spots all over it. The smoke detector was taped up to the ceiling so it’s hard to say if it would have worked if needed. The bathroom sink was missing the drain plug so if someone had dropped something in the sink, it would have gone down the drain. We stayed for multiple days and were there during the day at times so we hung the do not disturb sign on the door as we had a young child that slept during the day. Thankfully I had put the chain on the door because they didn’t knock or anything, they were going to just walk in despite the sign being on the door....while I was breastfeeding. The people doing the cleaning would yell up and down the hallway at each other while my child was trying to sleep. We were in a non smoking room yet our room smelled of smoke. There were holes in the bedding and the towels. We travel and stay at a lot of hotels throughout the year and we have stayed in a lot better for cheaper. We prefer Wyndham hotels because they have been typically lower cost yet decent rooms but this was not the case here. We have also never been charged before checkout until we stayed here. And they charged for more days then what we stayed. We won’t go back.

The owner is a very sweet lady..... The check in process took 5 mins and I was off with my reciept and key card... The hallways are clean fresh paint in rooms. Internet is plenty fast and the beds are comfy goose down pillows fresh linen and all amenities are in your room as they should be. The breakfast is just the same as any other hotel that charges a fair price..... The hotel is plenty clean inside with a beautiful large front yard and lots of parking. The wife and I stay at hundreds of hotels through out the year and I'm hear to tell you this lady is super low on her pricing for how clean and quite these rooms are... She's fair and a very sweet lady but it's really hard to please everybody if you know what I mean..... Nice Hotel..... Thankyou the Jacksons.
