Sophie was favoring a front leg. I could see a nail was in pretty bad shape. WVH had me drop her off at 8 am and Dr. Denison would see her when there was time. I was called at 9:38 am and was told two nails had to be removed. Sophie is doing great. Same day service including surgery? I couldn't make any further suggestions about how to improve service. Well Done!!

I'm 70 a veteran retired and handicapped .Dr Moore told me she wants her money up front no matter my dog suffering. I wanted her to hold check 3 days accused everyone of writing bad checks we been going there 10 years first experience with her .Quoted me 150 charged 250. She is a money grubber .Bottom of exam table rusty..very unprofessional not Minnesota nice other doctors didn't mind we are native American told her she was money hungry she turned around and walked out ...

Dr. Krausser is an amazing vet. She always takes time to talk to me, thoroughly, during my cat's exam. She also called me to discuss concerns and treatment oprions, without an appointment. The staff recently helped us with a semi-emergency. Their communication was excellent, and I was informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Winona Vet hospital 🐱👍

Dr. Maloney and the team at Winona Veterinary Hospital saved my dog's life when he was suffering parvovirus. Their team is incredible. They are quick to respond to phone calls with any questions or concerns I may have. They continue to take great care of my dog. I would recommend them to anyone!

Captain, our Chinchilla needed dental work. Winona Veterinary Hospital took care of him. He is eating normally and playful. They washed him up from his constant drooling, which left him matty and his fur stiff. Thank you. They also take very good care of my cat, Olive, who gets allergy shots once a month by me.

The Winona Veterinary Hospital is an excellent choice for pet owners who are looking for a veterinary practice that values communication and provides good value for their services. Our visits have been efficient. They explain all of our options and are very upfront about the cost of said options. The facility is plain and well kept. The staff is friendly and consistent. The workers are very honest and kind. We take our dog and cats there, today was my dog's appointment. The vets were very kind and tried to make her as comfortable as possible. Aspen needed liquid in her mouth but wouldn't take it inside the building, she took it when we got in the car.Update 1: Went there a second time, Aspen has apparently been losing control of her back legs. Recommended a DNA test. Results coming soon.

Dr. Maloney is fantastic! She has a special interest in rabbit medicine and surgery. We drive an hour to see Dr. Maloney because she is the only vet in the area that trims rabbit teeth. Recently, our 2 lb, 11 yo rabbit, Minna, stopped eating, and Dr. M went above and beyond to get her back to her normal self which is eating like a baby horse.

The receptionist was incredibly rude. I was trying to help a friend my offering to pay for some of their cats vet bill but they turned away the idea and quite rudely as well. I was will to pay card cash what ever they preferred. Not to mention the fact that years ago when I went there a vet slapped my dog across the face. I don't know if he still works there as it was a long time ago. This is the only reason I didn't give a 1 star review.

Dr. Maloney is amazing! We have three dogs! She gives them the best care and she tries to treat them economically as well. Kenzie, one of the vet techs is truly amazing! Our English Bulldog needs to be sedated for his nail trim. She was very patient with our dog, cutting his nails to the shortest length possible, without making him bleed, and then providing him wonderful care while he woke up. The team earns at A+!

Brought a puppy in yesterday for animal control. When I got there all I got was a dirty look by the older receptionist and ugly looks the entire time until I left. This place is not welcoming at all. Instead of looking at customers with such disrespect the moment they walk in, try being professional instead of rude. NEVER AGAIN will I walk through their doors even if it’s a emergency. I’ll drive hours to some other place than go here again. Makes me wonder how that lady treats animals

I have 3 Goldens. It would have been 2 if not for Winona Animal Hospital.. Sophie had bad nasal discharge and was generally not well. The symptoms didn't make sense to Dr. Denision, so he recommended Blue Pearl Vet. They diagnosed Aspergillus, a nasty and eventually fatal fungal infection if not caught early. Aspergillus usually doesn't present nasal discharge. I applaud a vet who will send an animal elsewhere if he doesn't know the answer. It saved Sophie. Thank you!!

We absolutely love Winona Veterinary Hospital. We have now taken three dogs there over the years and seen Dr. Denison, Dr. Maloney, and Dr. Moore. Our dogs (and we) are always treated with the utmost care, gentleness, and warmth with everyone from the reception staff to the vet techs to the doctors. Especially as we've brought in our aging dogs with varying severity levels of health problems, and now our new puppy, I've been particularly impressed with their ability to support us and our pets through good and bad. The doctors always take plenty of time to put our pets at ease during any checkup or procedure, and they also are patient and thorough in answering any questions we have. We appreciate everyone on staff's clear love and empathy for animals. I would recommend them to anyone.

I love Winona Veterinary Hospital. I recently moved about 35 minutes away and still will make the drive back to Winona. I have a complicated schedule and they have worked with me when it comes to rescheduling appointments. I really appreciate all they do! I also have two "pocket pets" that many vets do not specialize in caring for but Winona Veterinary Hospital does. They even got back to me on Christmas when I was having an emergency. Amazing place.

Dr M has brought 4 litters of pups into the world as well as their after care, has saved our cat from a critical situation, removed tumors from our small dog ...Now to mention their awesome staff that has consulted, consoled and counseled us more times than I can count. I've only taken my cats here a couple of times so far, and both times I've been happy with the service. This most recent time was an emergency with a cat they hadn't seen yet, but they squeezed me in and got him help right away. Everyone I talked to was super friendly, making me feel more at ease with trusting them with my cats. Every question I asked was answered in a positive yet honest way. And every phone call I made to them got me the results I was hoping for. Also, I forgot to tell her this morning so maybe she'll see it here, but I really liked the receptionist's shirt 😂 It was super pretty!

We have been clients of Winona Veterinary Hospital since we moved to the area in 2013. Except for two visits, we've always seen Dr. Maloney with our doodles. It's always been a very positive experience. She's so knowledgeable, caring and kind.We recently had to make the difficult decision to euthanize our dog. Dr. Maloney was so supportive and empathetic. We really could not have made it through it without her. I transferred care of my 2 dogs to Winona Vet a couple of years ago when I learned the other vet clinics in town stopped taking call 7 days a week.Dr Maloney readily accepted care of my old guys with multiple medical issues, and has always been available to their overprotective daddy, either by email or appointment. I’ve grown to trust her judgement (something I don’t easily do), and am grateful to the entire clinic for their ethic of service to the animals of this community.The ladies up front are very easy to deal with too!

I have always received exceptional care for my multiple pets at Winona Vet Clinic. In particular, Dr. Maloney , has extensive knowledge of small critters (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc) which is difficult to find in this area. I have an appointment to have my rabbit, Lilac’s ,molars trimmed next week.. I used to worry about rabbit anesthesia but I have total confidence in Dr. Maloney. She is the best .

I am so pleased with Winona Vet Hospital. There are several Vet's closer to me, one within walking distance, yet I choose to drive from La Crosse to Winona for the BEST care for my dogs. The doctors listen to me, hear my concerns, and work with me. They have never encouraged me to do unnecessary testing. They give me facts, give me options and leave the ultimate decisions to me. They provide competent and compassionate care. The support staff is great too. I feel like these people are my friends AND they care for my dogs!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Winona Vet Hospital and all of their staff! We have 6 pets and 4 of them have regular medical needs and/or chronic health problems.Dr. Maloney and crew have been more than accommodating of all our needs. She understands that I prefer a big picture approach to managing their health, so helps with ideas for food, dietary supplements and medications when needed. In addition, she's very understanding about how expensive all of this can get so has helped find the most reasonable resources for everything we need.I'm a very protective pet mom and can get a little crazy sometimes when I'm worried about my "kids." They do a great job of taking care of me too!After a traumatic incident, one of my dogs was afraid of going to the vet, but Dr. Maloney's gentle nature has helped him get over his fears.In addition, their prices are very reasonable. My pets have needed several surgeries and I always think the bill is going to be higher than it turns out to be.I'm grateful to have found Dr. Maloney. If we didn't love her and her staff, we wouldn't drive 40 miles one way to see her!
