I get notifications monthly too pick up my meds. I drive 40 miles get there told I'm too early. The next day I get another notification, drive 40 miles pick up meds. Repeat next month. Walk into any other Walgreens walk out with meds.

The prices of the merchandise are very expensive for me and having to work with an alternate pharmacy for a simple transfer was not a positive experience. It would have been better for me to simply pay outright for what I needed instead of going through the red tape of having my insurance company help me.

I have been using Walgreens pharmacy in a Winona for years... The other night I called to ask about a prescription and they hung up on me TEN times. Someone would pick it up and then slam it down every time I tried to call. I then called the store and the manager transferred me to the pharmacy. Once on the phone with the pharmacy staff, I asked why they kept hanging up on me and they ignored my question and asked me what I needed. I filled out a complaint through the Walgreens website and have yet to hear back several weeks later. Safe to say, I’ll be moving my medications to a store that respects their customers by not hanging up on them repeatedly.

This is the worst pharmacy ever. They take ages to get a prescription filled and have messed up my insurance multiple times sending me in a wild goose chase to figure out what’s wrong only to see that it was their fault. I am currently waiting on medication to help with a nasty illness and I have to transfer it to lacrosse because I would like to start the medication asap and they will not pick up the phone and it’s still not filled hours later. Never go here

TLDR: you cannot go here for a covid lab test if you're uninsured.While they seem polite and professional, they asked us to wait in line an extra half hour on top of the half hour we had already waited only to tell us they were not able to take direct payment (cash or credit) for a covid test. The only other option for a lab test in town appears to be winona health for $250. I cannot afford that. Please be aware of this before wasting your afternoon and sick time.

Kyle was the best pharmacy manager ever :). I was sad to hear he had left. Things are really not the same since COVID started at any pharmacy, but walgreens in Winona probably got hit the hardest considering they can put out 400 scripts on a Monday alone.The notification system is a little odd, it won't tell me when my scripts are ready, but it tells me when they get canceled. Someone helped me just now to re-refill a script I needed. Thank youuuu!

We've gotten our prescription there for the past half year. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. Sometimes there's a line but that's because they're taking the time to help the customers that have gotten there before me. I like the automatic phone messages asking if I want a prescription re-filled and also telling me when my prescription is ready to pick up.

PARENTS BEWARE: A pharmacist allowed an incorrect account prescription to be sold to us for my son. The pharmacist questioned the prescription and allowed it to be sold anyway. After consulting the clinic that initially prescribed the medication, I was informed that it is standard practice for the pharmacy to call and check that a prescription was written accurately if they had any doubts. The pharmacist questioned my partner, and my partner not being a medical professional said “that’s what the doctor said.” We received a call over 5 hours later from a different pharmacist to tell us that it was the wrong dosage. My toddler was prescribed 3.5 times the dosage he was supposed to receive. Here’s the deal: for us, it was merely amoxicillin, but for you and your child, it could be something that is deadly if overdosed. PLEASE, do not use this pharmacy. The GM has washed her hands saying that this is a “he said she said” situation. Please take your don’t take your chances. Just go to CVS. Stay safe out there folks.

Worst pharmacy ever! Just because they are open til 10 doesn’t mean they will help you later. I called about a message I received after my son went to bed and she wouldn’t help me. Apparently they shut computers down early and won’t help you. I wouldn’t have ever came back to this place if Goltz wouldn’t have sold to them! I miss the old Goltz. When everyone knew my name. They declined after Dan retired and they got rid of all my favorite people but Walgreens is the worst!!!!! Will be switching to Walmart also!!!!

This is a busy pharmacy staff for a reason. They are good at what they do. To avoid being on hold for a long time use you mobile application or the Walgreen website to order your prescription. If you sign up for text notifications, you will get a text as soon as the order is done.

Terrible. My local pharmacy sold out to Walgreens and transferred all my info there. They lost that info, refused to refill my diabetes medicine by phone. Said I can't bring the Goltz bottle with all the necessary info on it including the fact there is 1 more refill available and have to get my doctor to send a new prescription to them. Ridiculous. As much as I hate Walmart, I guess I'll have to go there. So stressed and angry after that conversation. It's diabetes medication, not a narcotic or something.

Terrible customer service from the store manager Nate. Never has a solid answer when I called him. Tells me one thing and to wait Four to six weeks for resolution. Called back because problem wasn’t resolved and was told I was past the time that it could be resolved. Very unhappy and will be sure to never fill a script there again for me or my family. Don’t tell a customer you will take care of issue then drop the ball and never take accountability for it.

I went in to find a perm kit. Walmart said they had some but had NONE. I went to walgreens and the woman who helped me was so kind. I wish I got her name. She was so determined to help me and I appreciate her endlessly!!!! Such great customer service!!!

This Walgreens is terrible. It takes days to fill a prescription and then no one contacts you when it's ready. The staff either doesn't know what's going on or are extremely rude. I was actually shocked at how I was treated by an employee of this store.

Go anywhere else to fill your perscription. They “lose them”, don’t fill them on time, and don’t take any accountability. The majority of the younger staff are unprofessional and rude. Save yourself the hassle and go literally anywhere else
