It's always a pleasure to visit this bookstore.The atmosphere is perfect for books.The owner is very knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. The books are in great condition, there are so many treasures.I love the new place, it's really wonderful to have a place like this in downtown Winona.Every time I visited, I was treated kindly and came out happy with my books.There is also a big selection of CDs (music).Thank you for having me, I will be back for sure.Check the pictures and see for yourself.

A great local book store. Follow the Facebook page he shares the latest books. Prices are very fair, sometimes I feel overcharged buying used books never get that from Chapter 2.

Truly a wonderful bookstore! They have an amazing selection of new and vintage books with a variety sure to guarantee you'll find something to love.We purchased a couple books that caught our eye and were able to find a couple off our wish list. Guildenstern was incredibly helpful in making us feel right at home and helping pick out a book!10/10, would recommend!

Nice little nook, records and comics. Some prices are retail for collections. Find some rare stuff, check in periodically for rotating stock.

Great book store! We need more places like this. The inside is nicely laid out, the staff is friendly, and the prices are great for a second-hand shop. There is also a very cute cat assistant who works there. However, I don't think he's the best for encouraging business, as he followed me around purring and meowed at me to stop shopping, and to just pet him instead; but I'm not complaining! I would recommend this book store for anyone looking for a new read.

New location, and even better! Owner/manager will always try to get you what you need. Great selection of used books, vinyl and CDs, plus comics. Always ask if you don't see what you want. Everything is in good to excellent condition. The store cat is so friendly!

Best used bookstore in town! A little disorganized but very charming, and a great selection. Looking forward to visiting again! I hope Guildenstern is feeling better. Store didn't smell like anything but old books to me. 😊

My boyfriend and I are on a road trip and stopped in Winona for a late lunch, then drove through downtown a bit. "I want a weird little bookstore," I said, and Chapter 2 Books provided.There's a local author section, a robust sci-fi fantasy section, and my favorite, a lovely case jammed full of antique and vintage books.Best of all, the cat. He came to greet us while we browsed and was extremely friendly, accepting pets and compliments on his long and whippy tail. When I sat down to provide a lap, he took it. 10/10 used bookstore experience.

I love his bookstore.It's so calm and peaceful in there. There's also a cat that you can pet! 🐱 there are so many good books and comics there at very good prices.

Great store with a great selection and very friendly and helpful staff! I asked the owner, Daryl, if he could find me antique good reads that would fit into exact dimensions of a shelf I had. When I arrived the next day he had them ready and they are perfect - that is awesome service! Highly Recommend!

None of the bookstores in Winona have the same vibe or charm to them, and this one is my favorite for sure. Large music collection, huge collection of books that are very well taken care of. I'll be back time and time again without question

I always love going into this store. Books and cats, you can't beat it. I'm also excited about their new knick nacks and shirts they have. Those are definitely going to be go to gifts for friends and family (and myself of course)
