Made 2 trips to store to get a simple question answered about a Stihl saw that I had purchased from their store. Owner refused to involve mechanic. Had purchased multiple saws, trimmers, and a blower from them but will never again. Last week purchased a new $1000+ pro saw from real Stihl dealer in LaCresent who answered a simple question that helped me get my older saw up and running. Gave you 2 stars only because you have good employees but ownership gets 0

Shop a local business that has a staff that is helpful and knowledgeable. My last visit was for window insulation kits and the annual maintenance on my Toro Snow thrower that I purchased from Burggrafs. There is a lot to see at this store.

Awesome help when needed! Also if you're polite they give generous scoops of minnows(:My first job was at a different Ace, I loved it.I claim to be an expert in the nuts n' bolts department (Hillman), but I had to ask for help last time. Older gentleman brought me right to the rubber washers! (I forgot they had 2 aisles lol, our Ace had one long aisle)

I had a mistaken purchase, went in to ask questions, not looking for a refund, found out I bought something I didn't want after 5 minutes of use, they exchanged it for me with the correct part. Thanks so much. Highly recommend this store for Stihl equipment and replacement parts. Bravo

These guys are great! I bought my snow blower here a few years ago, and they have kept it up and running with no issues ever since. I am not mechanically inclined, and the crew here have picked up, serviced, and returned my snow blower every fall. Granted the pick-up and delivery costs extra, but I don't have a way to haul my snowblower to the shop. Every other time, I've stopped into the store, I've left with what I needed. Great customer service.

Just went into there (Saturday September 1st) to get some bait. Treated very poorly by Bill and the other gentlemen working there. Extremely rude and very poor salesmanship. When explaining the day prior that our bait had died almost 1 hour after purchase, Bill stated, "Not my problem." Upon purchasing our items, we were talked down upon when we stated that we had been charged double for something we did not purchase. The car machine did not read and our card was pulled out and slammed in the machine repeatedly to make it work with no explanation of it was necessary. I will make sure to avoid this place at all costs based solely on this experience.

I called about pellet stoves. They took time to discuss the inventory and prices over the phone. It was enough for me to go look. While there, the assistant took time to answer questions, measure my trunk discuss possible delivery, etc. The service was wonderful and I was happy to buy our Traeger Pellet Grill there! Kudos. They mentioned delivery....I know many elderly who could use delivery for salt, bird seed, dirt, paint, etc. Hopefully they consider it for all purchases...could be a good niche there!!!

Selection is pretty good. I've been here many times because of the convenience of location. The staff is almost always rude, and treat you like you don't know anything (even if you didn't, it still wouldn't justify their tone). Prices are somewhat high.

I blew my power out last night and needed fuses. So I went in this morning and got help right away finding the replacement one I needed. It was 5 amps smaller but they explained that its okay to go lower not higher. Then I found out that didn't fix the power. So then I took pictures of my main fuses and showed them and got 2 more for the main fame. Those were also 5 amps shorter. But again another worker explained the same thing. It's okay to go lower not higher. So then I got home replacement those main frame ones and power was on! Thanks for the help!!

Bought a Stihl cordless grass trimmer and blower. They didn't have the manual for the gas trimmer. Still don't understand why. I get it, you can find it online everyday. Not the point. Asked them to get me one and left them my name, number and email address. Never heard a word.

No matter what I am looking for, they either have it, can order it, or know where to send me to get it. Most of their staff consists of older men (50-70) who practice the same customer service that their fathers and grandfathers offered.They have a wonderful area devoted to kitchen supplies.....everything from garlic presses, cookie cutters and measuring cups to pizzelle makers, cast iron fry pans and rolling pins.They carry a wealth of knowledge in their heads. They have helped me select the right kind of mouse trap, the correct extension cord length and the best caulking gun. I have never been sent away without a solution to my problem.. Thank you Daniels.

Ordered parts three weeks ago. Called in and they did not even have the order placed. I apparently was not on file. Extremely disappointed with this place. Have been there before and the parts guy was a jerk to me and had horrible customer service. Do not recommend to anyone. Only positive is they have a decent size parking lot.

To shop at a local hardware store instead of the big monopoly stores is always a better experience because the employees know exactly what you need. And if you go to W Mart the employees really don't know what you're talking about because W Mart. Only believes in making that almighty dollar instead of true customer service and that's no fault of the employees just their employer.

A truly old fashioned hardware store that can do some things that the big box can't - cut single pane glass and acrylic, for example. Staff was friendly and helpful, which is the key thing that sets these folks apart from the big M.
