I brought my German Shepard in, because he couldn’t walk, would just stand still shaking, I was told “I’m not sure what’s wrong with him” I had to even ask him to look at his paws, said everything looked good, I got home and was still trying to figure out what was going on, and notice his paw pads were peeling, assuming from running on gravel earlier that day. I then got a $300 bill in the mail for telling me “I’m not sure what’s wrong with him” and even asking him to look at his paws and saying everything was good.

I am currently visiting family for Thanksgiving in Windom, and we found a cat on our way down from St. Cloud, MN. I called Cottonwood Vet to see if they could check for a microchip and the sex of the cat. They told me I could come in right away. The staff were super helpful and friendly! They cleaned his ears out and dewormed him as well which was super nice. Thanks you guys for the quick help!!

Brought my animal to this place to check on injuries, and he was checked in very quickly, and came home with him being able to walk freely and was eating very well and drinking fluids well also. I was explained to and showed exams and how to medicate my animal properly. These folks working here take pride in their work and treat animals also like people with respect.

My mother in law called this vet to put her kitty down. Sitting next to her kitty while on the phone needing someone to talk to. Terie (my mother in law) was told to put him in the freezer and to wait till the next day. 🙄 i mean seriously she caught them before they left for the day. This vet couldnt take the time to realize that this was a difficult time and any help would had been grateful! This is so messed up. Why would anyone want to put their fur baby in a freezer?!?!?!

My dog was being super difficult and they were so patient with him. We had a scheduled appointment but they took the time with him that it had to take even though it took longer then expected. They were very nice and thorough. They talked through all the options with me and we came to a treatment solution together.

Went above and beyond!!! Would recommend to anyone!!! The day before Thanksgiving, I called the vet bout 15 minutes before they were closing. I was bawling my eyes out because our cat was not doing good at all! My boyfriend and I did not know what to do, we didn't want to let her go but we knew in the back of our minds that she was ready to go! We were having car troubles on top of trying to get Princess to the vet and when we finally got it running it died a block away, so we ran the rest of the way. When we got there even though they were closed, the vet checked Princess over and gave us our options and his opinion (which was very helpful) and in the end we had to let our pretty girl go. They gave us time to say our goodbyes and assured us he would take care of her. When i went to pick Princess's ashes up they came in a nice bag and everyone apologized for losing her! Today i went and checked my mail and we received a beautiful card in the mail! Thank you so much you don't know how much you guys helped make this easier and so much more meaningful!!

I love this clinic. They are so friendly, kind, and very helpful. I get worried about my cat and they took plenty of time to talk me through all my concerns and give me good advice for how to move out-of-state with her. Each staff member clearly loves what they do and loves animals and customers alike. I also think they prices are extremely reasonable.

They went above and beyond to help us with a holiday weekend emergency rescue of an injured owl and followed up the next day with updates. The clinic reached out to the Raptor Center and was absolutely amazing in helping us. Friendly, kind, very fair price. Highly recommend!

I've been going to this vet for years, and didn't have any issues. However, when my cat got out today (who's been there many times) they immediately impounded her, charged me fees, and gave me back a SHAKEN cat.She's usually very quiet, and was just bawling when I got her back in the car. She went and hid behind my wife when I got home, who she doesn't even like. I don't know what they did, but I'm horrified.I left a five star review up for years without issues, and this is now a one star from that absolutely traumatizing experience for my old cat.

Local vet clinic for me, so from personal experience, choosing the right vet is important here. I stick with who I trust to care for my pet. There is one vet here that absolutely does not have your pet's best interests regarding the pain they may be suffering and is actual cruel to the animal. I've seen it with my own eyes and have it on video! This vet is never allowed to handle my pet - - EVER!

I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this vet clinic .. they took my $700 and mis diagnosed my cat .. ran a bunch of test that costed me $700 and told me nothing was wrong with my cat .. took my cat to another vet who ran same test costed way less and was told my poor baby had a tumor and was suffering 😞 the staff are not very friendly especially the elderly guy he was just straight rude .. they truly do not see or understand that these pets are not just pets they are family … they are strictly about over charging customers and taking their money..

I took my small pregnant chiuahua into vets last week for her first time there. They were absolutely wonderful, they were more than happy to take an x-ray of our dog BISH just to see how many puppies were expecting..They did not turn is away for a second. Had a great surgery with the first cat, second cat had complications but they called to check up, were very responsive to my questions and he healed up nicely as well! Good vet clinic!

We have only used this clinic for shots so far -- mainly because they don't charge a ridiculous exam fee just for a shot -- but we have been very pleased with them so far. Front desk staff is very nice too.
