Dave's Cafe has diner style food at very reasonable prices. Omelette's containing cheese could be improved by using real cheddar cheese instead of American cheese. The sole cook was very busy filling orders for a full house. The only server could've picked up the pace a little to clean tables and take orders.

Good prices. Average diner. I asked for cheddar once and got American cheese. No big deal. Now I know they just don't have cheddar as an option. This might change some day. Doesn't matter. I don't really need to be adding cheese anyway. You probably don't either. Just enjoy your hash browns with some onion and green pepper.I do have to say, I ordered steak and eggs once and the steak was surprisingly good for a diner. It was small but thick and actually just the right amount for a breakfast, in my opinion, as a 200 lb man.

One of the best places to eat when you are driving north from the cities. We always make sure to stop here and eat. Food is very good, cheap and service is good.I like their coffee a lot. It’s one of the best coffee(black).

This place never disappoints! Wonderful food and super great prices. We make it a point to stop every time we head to duluth. The staff is the best and the regulars are even better. Went there for my sons 10th birthday and a lovely 90 year old customer came over and gave him a dollar. Plus he got some special recognition from the server. The kids love the huge pancakes and I am a fan of the burgers. We will be back every time I find myself in the area.

I am giving 3 stars because we love the food and prices however, one particular employee has been horrendous . We have been frequenting this restraunt for over 2 years.This employee has always been disrespectful and treats us horribly. We always tip well, even on to go orders.Today was the last straw. We had some family up to our house. We decided we wanted to buy breakfast. Instead of us all going in, we called in a to go order.The employee told us"you know when I have people over I plan ahead and go grocery shopping, and cook at home. " I was appalled! This is how this buisness makes money. By preparing and selling food! We even tried to make our order easy by getting all the same omlettes.We were told "well we are out of meat so your going to be waiting a while, very rudely.We said that's ok. We are willing to wait. Everytime we eat inside, she is yelling and complaining very loudly about customers and having to do her job. I feel uncomfortable going and seeing her everytime. She is even horrible and rude to other staff. If she hates her job so much she needs to find a new one or retire.

We’re building a house a couple towns over from Willow River so its nice to get a hot meal/start our day with such delicious food at outstanding prices. This place blows any perkins out of the water. Its small and cozy and a great family spot and great to meet locals

I love this place! I live in the twin cities so I don't get to eat here often. Anytime I'm around the area, I make sure to eat here. Big portions for such a good price. Highly suggest eating here if you never have.

This place deserves more than 5 -stars this is one of the cleanness restaurants I've been in I had the steak and eggs with a side of fresh toast & everything was top of the line awesome deliciousness I mean Great I will differently be back here soon & the service was top notch to she made it fun Great food and service a most go see stop in you won't go wrong
